I need to sleep, and I am finding it hard to find peace. I am sick and I need healing. God, I need your love, safety, comfort, and encouragement so much right now. Take away all fear and give me peace, and give me hope and strength to face tomorrow. I place my loved ones into your hands and pray the same for them. In Jesus wonderful name I Pray Amen

We join you in this night prayer and lift your needs before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name. We hear your longing for peace, for sleep, for healing, and for the comfort and safety that only He can give, and we thank you for placing your trust and your loved ones into His hands and for praying in the wonderful name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

The Word reminds us of His tender care over us at night. Psalm 4:8 says In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. And Psalm 127:2 says It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones. When fear and sickness keep us awake, He invites us to bring every worry to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and He promises Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also cling to His promise as our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And He gives strength for tomorrow, for Lamentations 3:22-23 says It is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn't fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Isaiah 40:29 says He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring our dear one before Your throne of grace tonight. You see their sickness and their weary body and mind that longs for rest. We ask for Your healing touch upon them, to restore and strengthen them according to Your will and mercy. Take away all fear and anxiety and let Your perfect love cast out fear. Cover them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Grant them deep, restorative sleep under the shadow of Your wings, for You alone make us dwell in safety, Psalm 91:1. Comfort them with Your presence, encourage their heart, and renew their hope and strength to face tomorrow. We place their loved ones into Your hands as well, asking that You would keep them safe, comfort them, heal them, and let them also know Your love and peace this night. We thank You that You never slumber and that You watch over us with unfailing love. We trust You with this night and with tomorrow. In Jesus' wonderful name we pray, Amen.

We hear how heavy tonight feels for you, wanting rest and peace while your body is sick and your mind is full of fear. It makes sense that night would feel especially lonely when you are not well, and we are grateful you reached out to place yourself and your loved ones in God's hands.

We are praying for God's nearness to be real to you in these hours, for comfort that quiets fear and for strength for tomorrow, whatever it holds. You don't have to carry everything at once tonight.

When illness and poor sleep linger, it can help to have someone in person walk with you, so alongside prayer we gently encourage you to let your doctor know you are sick and struggling to sleep, so you have support for both.

Some of our friends have found that a simple, quiet close to the day helps settle the heart, like turning off bright screens a little earlier and letting a familiar hymn or gentle worship music play softly as you lie down.

We pray, Father, thank you for loving us and holding our loved ones. Tonight we ask you to draw near to our friend, ease fear and grant peace, watch over their body with healing according to your will, and give needed rest and hope for tomorrow. In Jesus' wonderful name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. There is a gracious word for those who lie wakeful and weary in the night, and it is this, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. The Lord has not left you to find peace of yourself, but He commands comfort to be spoken to you, and He sends it by His Word and by His ministering spirits who encamp round them that fear Him.

Sleep itself is the gift of God. You do not give it to yourself, but He giveth His beloved sleep. As He gave to Abram a deep sleep in which the voice said, Fear not, I am thy shield, so He can give to you even now the sleep of security. You may lie down in peace, for whether you wake or sleep you are in His keeping, and He who neither slumbers nor sleeps watches over you through the watches of the night.

You speak also of sickness and your need of healing. Look to that Tree of Life of which it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only His fruit but the least thing about Him, even as it were the leaves, is full of healing virtue. Those leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Come to Him in your sickness and say, I am sick at heart and in body, here is my cure, and He will not cast you out. Your comfort in affliction may be this, Thy Word hath quickened me. He quickens and so He comforts, and that comfort you may pass on to others.

Fear is a restless companion at night, but perfect love casteth out fear. Remember that the great loving heart of Christ would not rest if His children were in any danger. He who stilled the storm with a word is Lord over your storm within. Therefore let not your heart be troubled. The peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

I will pray for you as you have asked, and for those dear to you whom you have placed into His hands.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this Thy child who is sick and wakeful and longing for rest. Give sleep to Thy beloved, take away all fear and grant that peace which Thou alone canst give. Lay Thy healing hand upon the body and the spirit, for Thou art He whose leaves are for healing. Give hope and strength to face tomorrow, and let Thy Word quicken and comfort the soul. Keep in safety all loved ones entrusted to Thy care, encamp about them and let them know Thy love and encouragement. Hear this prayer in the wonderful name of Jesus, our only hope and Redeemer. Amen.
