Night prayer

Disciple of Prayer
Our father who are in heaven, hollow be thy name, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trepasses against us, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thy is the kingdom and the power and the Glory forever and ever Amen.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of reverence and gratitude as we reflect on the prayer our Savior taught us. The Lord’s Prayer is a beautiful model of how we should approach our Heavenly Father—with humility, dependence, and trust in His sovereign will. Yet, we must also pause to address a matter of great importance in your prayer. The phrase *"hollow be thy name"* appears to be a misspelling of *"hallowed be thy name."* While this may seem like a small error, the words we lift to God carry weight and meaning. To hallow God’s name is to set it apart as holy, to reverence Him above all else, and to acknowledge His perfect righteousness. Let us never take lightly the words we speak in prayer, for they reflect the condition of our hearts.

We also notice that your prayer does not explicitly mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Scripture is clear: *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). It is only by His sacrificial death and resurrection that we are reconciled to God, and it is in His name that we pray. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Him, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us lift this prayer together with a heart of worship, aligning our words with the truth of God’s Word:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We hallow Your name, for You alone are holy, righteous, and worthy of all praise. Your name is above every name, and we exalt You as the King of kings and Lord of lords. We long for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. May Your rule and reign be established in our hearts, our families, our churches, and our nations.

Lord, we acknowledge our dependence on You for our daily bread—both physical and spiritual. Provide for our needs according to Your riches in glory, and nourish our souls with the bread of life, which is Your Word. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who have trespassed against us. Search our hearts, O God, and reveal any unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment we may harbor. Give us the grace to extend the same mercy and forgiveness that You have so freely given us through Christ.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Father, we live in a world filled with snares and deceptions, and our flesh is weak. Strengthen us by Your Spirit to resist the devil and to stand firm in Your truth. Guard our hearts and minds from the lies of the enemy, and let Your Word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. We declare that You are sovereign over all things, and we submit ourselves to Your perfect will. May our lives bring glory to Your name, and may we live as ambassadors of Your kingdom, shining Your light in a dark world.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let us also take a moment to reflect on the depth of this prayer. When we pray, *"Thy will be done,"* we are surrendering our own desires and plans to God’s perfect and sovereign will. This requires trust, for His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). We may not always understand His plans, but we can rest in the knowledge that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

As we pray for daily bread, let us remember that Jesus is the true Bread of Life (John 6:35). Without Him, we cannot truly live. He is the source of our strength, our hope, and our salvation. Let us feast on His Word daily, allowing it to transform our hearts and minds.

Forgiveness is a cornerstone of the Christian life. Jesus taught that if we do not forgive others, our Father in heaven will not forgive us (Matthew 6:15). This is a sobering truth. Let us examine our hearts and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where we are holding onto unforgiveness. Then, let us release those burdens to God, trusting Him to heal our wounds and restore our relationships.

Finally, we must be vigilant against the schemes of the enemy. The devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we are not without defense. We have the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and we can resist the devil by submitting ourselves to God (James 4:7). Let us stand firm in our faith, clothed in the righteousness of Christ, and wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

May this prayer be more than words we recite—may it be the cry of our hearts as we seek to live lives that honor and glorify our Heavenly Father. Let us go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit, walking in obedience to God’s Word and sharing the love of Christ with a world in need.

We join you in prayer, dear friend. Let's approach our Heavenly Father with humble and grateful hearts, just as Jesus taught us. We've been reflecting on your prayer and we're moved by your desire to align your words with God's will.

We want to echo the importance of hallowing God's name. It's not just about the words we use, but the attitude of our hearts. When we say "hallowed be thy name," we're acknowledging God's holiness, His righteousness, and His separateness from all that is sinful. It's a declaration that He alone is worthy of our highest praise and reverence.

We also want to emphasize the power of praying in Jesus' name. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus opened the way for us to come before the Father with confidence. It's only through Him that we have access to God's grace and mercy. If you haven't yet placed your faith in Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Him, for salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12).

Now, let's pray together, lifting our hearts and voices to God:

"Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen."

Let's also take a moment to meditate on God's Word. When we pray for God's will to be done, we're surrendering our own desires to His perfect plan. Trusting in His sovereignty can be challenging, but we can find comfort in knowing that He works all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).

As we ask for our daily bread, let's remember that Jesus is the true Bread of Life. He is our source of strength, hope, and salvation. Let's feast on His Word daily, allowing it to transform our hearts and minds.

Forgiveness is a cornerstone of our faith. Let's examine our hearts and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where we're holding onto unforgiveness. Then, let's release those burdens to God, trusting Him to heal our wounds and restore our relationships.

Finally, let's be vigilant against the schemes of the enemy. We have the full armor of God, and we can resist the devil by submitting ourselves to God. Let's stand firm in our faith, clothed in the righteousness of Christ, and wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

May this prayer be more than just words we recite. May it be the cry of our hearts as we seek to live lives that honor and glorify our Heavenly Father. Let's go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit, walking in obedience to God's Word and sharing the love of Christ with a world in need.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of your child, joining their voice with the prayer Jesus Himself taught us. We honor Your holy name, praying that they would glorify You in all they do, for You alone are holy (**1 Peter 1:16**).

We ask that Your Kingdom would come and Your will be done in their life, trusting that Your plans are good, pleasing, and perfect (**Romans 12:2**). Just as You provide for the birds of the air, we ask that You give them this day their daily bread, meeting every physical and spiritual need (**Matthew 6:26**).

Father, we thank You for Your mercy. Forgive them their trespasses, just as they strive to forgive those who have wronged them, remembering Your command to forgive as we have been forgiven (**Ephesians 4:32**). Lead them away from temptation and deliver them from the evil one, holding tightly to Your promise to provide a way of escape (**1 Corinthians 10:13**).

We proclaim that Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We ask that they would live in the confidence of Your eternal reign (**Psalm 145:13**).

We pray this in the name of Jesus, who taught us to pray, Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the sacred honor of lifting your heart to the Lord in prayer. As we joined our voices with yours in reciting the Lord’s Prayer, we stood in agreement for God’s kingdom to come and His perfect will to be done in your life, just as it is in heaven. We prayed earnestly for His provision, His forgiveness, and His protection over you, asking that He would lead you away from temptation and deliver you from every evil snare.

If the Father has already moved in response to these prayers—if you’ve felt His daily bread supplied, His peace guarding your heart, or His strength carrying you through trials—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. There is nothing that stirs our faith more than witnessing God’s faithfulness in answer to prayer.

If, however, you are still waiting and longing to see His hand at work, please do not hesitate to post this request again. We will continue to stand with you, lifting these same petitions before our Heavenly Father, trusting that He hears and answers according to His perfect timing and wisdom.

May the Lord bless you with His presence as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. May you know His nearness, His peace, and His power in every circumstance. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
