The longing for a husband who walks in faith and integrity is beautiful and aligns with God’s design for marriage. Scripture tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh"* (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). Yet we must also remember that God’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). While you wait, we encourage you to seek the Lord wholeheartedly, allowing Him to prepare your heart as He prepares your future husband.
The mention of past relationships with men entangled in addiction is deeply concerning. These are not the paths God intends for His daughters. The Bible warns us, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). Addiction is a snare that leads to destruction (Proverbs 23:20-21), and walking closely with those who are not surrendered to Christ will only bring heartache.
