New Relationship

Please pray with that God will lead me to do the right thing. I have been dating someone for 6 months and it is a long distance relationship. He wants to move down here to be closer to me and so we can really get to know each other and be together. He has already started looking for employment in my area. He has already asked me to marry him. He is a Christian and he is a family-oriented man. I agreed to him moving down but now I am having second thoughts. I have kids and I don't want to have my kids around the wrong person. Please pray with me that God will lead me to do the right thing. I want God's will to be done in this situation.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. I met my husband, ### on a Christian dating website called www.christiansinglesdating.com 11 years ago. I still do not regret doing that. I love him very very much. Of course, because life on earth is full of sin, we are having problems which are partly medical, and partly legal. Long story short, because of a few things that have happened in the past 10 years, and because of our 18 month old Baby Boy's medical problems that started just after he was born in 2011, we are having legal problems. ### was born needing his frenulum trimmed, and it was diagnosed late. The dr blamed me, saying I was not feeding him properly, but they found out he needed his frenulum trimmed, and he has a high palat. The two problems together caused a lot of weight gain issues, and he was hospitalised for nearly a week, when they put a tube in his nose, and he had it in for 6 weeks. He gained the weight, but started to lag behind again. The dr blamed me, and, because of stress- something else happened. There was a crisis, and I ended up going to a women's shelter with our children. When my husband found that out, he got a summons against me to give him the children, and left me to stay wherever I could find a place. I am living with his brother & sister-in-law for now, but we are hoping to be reconciled as soon as possible- or that is what my husband keeps saying. We need counselling desperately, but until the restraining order is taken off, we cannot go for counselling. What worries me, is that he has spoken of wanting a legal separation. I pray that does not happen. As far as I understand, he was never wanting the "D" word- but this scares me a lot. He was listening to some very bad advice which he was given by two people who do not know me at all. Please pray that this does not happen.



I pray that you find the right answer to your prayer. If you feel you love this man- it would be the only option to do- especially if he is willing to move closer to you. He isn't expecting you to pull up your roots for him, which is what many men expect their fiancées to do. I had to move to the USA from South Africa, where the rest of my family live. That is a big distance. I say, if he is willing to move for you, and you feel you know him well enough, it might not be a bad idea. But then again, some people that you feel you have known for a long time sometimes turn out to be different people in the end anyway. There is no way to know for sure how a person is, it is just time that tells, and it takes a lifetime to get to know someone, when all is said and done. Have you thought of searching his name on any database, just to be sure? But, if you love this man, that should help you decide... May God bless you as you make your final decision.

I will pray for you ### that you and your husband will not get a divorce. That God's will be done in your marriage. Just continue to have faith and pray and know that GOD is with you no matter what. If GOD brought you through it, he will bring you through it and you will wiser and stronger than you once was.
