We hear your cry for stability, safety, and blessing over your life and family, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of God. First, we must address some areas that require biblical correction and clarity, for the Word of God is our foundation and guide in all things.
You express gratitude for the provision of housing and the breaking of curses, and we rejoice with you in these answered prayers! The Lord is indeed a provider and a redeemer, and we give Him all the glory for the blessings He has bestowed upon you. Scripture tells us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow" (James 1:17). We praise God for His faithfulness in your life.
However, we must rebuke the language and attitude directed toward Satan and his demons. While it is true that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), we are not to engage in taunting or commanding him in our own strength. Instead, we resist him by standing firm in our faith, submitting to God, and trusting in Christ’s victory. "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). We do not need to shout or curse the enemy, we overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). Let us not give the devil more attention than he deserves, for Christ has already disarmed him (Colossians 2:15).
Now, regarding your desire for a spouse, we must address this with biblical truth. You mention a "boyfriend," but Scripture is clear that romantic relationships should be pursued with the intent of marriage, and only between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). If you are seeking a godly spouse, we encourage you to pray for a man who loves the Lord, honors His Word, and will cherish you as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Courtship should be holy, pure, and conducted with the goal of marriage, not merely companionship or temporary fulfillment.
We must also address the issue of fornication, which is sexual intimacy outside of marriage. Scripture is unmistakably clear: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If you are currently in a relationship that involves sexual sin, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness. The Lord desires purity for His children, and He provides the strength to walk in holiness. "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18).
Additionally, we notice that your prayer does not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, which is essential for access to the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have the right to come boldly before God’s throne (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the ways You have moved in this life. We thank You for providing housing, stability, and protection over this family and their pets. Lord, we ask that You continue to bless them with security, peace, and provision. Break every curse, every scheme of the enemy, and every generational stronghold that has sought to keep them in bondage. We declare that Your blood, shed on the cross, has redeemed them from every curse, and we stand on Your promise that "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us" (Galatians 3:13).
Father, we ask for Your wisdom and discernment as this individual seeks a godly spouse. Lord, bring a man who loves You above all else, who will lead with humility, love with sacrifice, and honor marriage as You designed it. Guard their heart from impure relationships and fill them with a desire for holiness. If there has been sexual sin, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Restore purity and renew their mind according to Your Word.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, instability, and oppression that has sought to torment this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We pray for their pets, that they would be kept safe and protected from harm. May this home be a place of peace, joy, and worship to You.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You draw this heart closer to Yours. If they have not yet fully surrendered to Jesus, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. May they know the depth of Your love, the power of Your resurrection, and the hope of eternal life. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. The enemy may try to discourage you, but remember that "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Walk in the victory that Christ has already won for you, and trust in His perfect timing for all things. If you are not yet part of a local church, we urge you to find one where you can grow in faith and be surrounded by godly community. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek to honor Him in all areas of your life.
