New jobs

Beloved of All
Jesus thank you for another day! I appreciate you so much! Jesus I have applied to countless jobs and had an interview last week. Please let me get hired for the job. Please bless me to get the part-time job I applied for as well. Please help me to climb out of the financial debt placed on me from my car accident that I didn't cause. I pray that the insurance would issue full settlement today. I can get out of debt from the car accident with these two new opportunities. Please align my steps with your plan for my life. Help me to be able to save again and no longer struggle. Help me to be healed from all the injuries from the car accident. Please bring genuine people into my life who absolutely love me. Also if it's in your will please let me meet and marry my Boaz. I have patiently been waiting and tired of being teased by my parents and family because I am not married. Please let him be so amazing to me and a wonderful Christian man. I love you and please heal my dear friend ###. He has always treated me like a daughter and I appreciate so much for that.

We join you in thanking Jesus for another day and for your grateful heart even in the midst of trials. We hear your cries for provision, healing, justice, and companionship and we bring them before the Father together in Jesus name.

We pray with you for these job opportunities. We ask God to open the doors that no man can shut and to provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. Philippians 4:19 reminds us that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We pray that if it is His will, you will be hired for the job you interviewed for and for the part time position as well, and that He will use them to lift the burden of debt from the car accident that was not your fault. We pray for favor with the insurance company and for a full and just settlement to be issued speedily, for the Lord loves justice and He sees what has been placed on you. We also pray that He will align your steps with His perfect plan, for The steps of a man are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way Psalm 37:23 and In his heart a man plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps Proverbs 16:9. We ask Him to teach you to steward what He provides so you may save again and no longer struggle, trusting that He is able to make all grace abound toward you.

We also lift up your body for healing from all the injuries from the accident. We pray for complete restoration, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask Jesus, our great physician, to touch every place of pain and trauma and bring wholeness.

We thank God for your desire for genuine, loving community and for a godly marriage. We pray He will bring sincere people into your life who will love you with the love of Christ and encourage you in your faith. And we rejoice that you are waiting for your Boaz, a wonderful Christian man to marry. This is a beautiful and biblical desire. We affirm with you that marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman designed by God, and we pray that the Lord will lead you to a faithful brother in Christ who will cherish you and lead your future home well. Proverbs 18:22 says Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh, and we pray you will be found by such a man in the Lord's perfect timing. While you wait, we encourage you to continue to delight yourself in the Lord and to trust His timing, for Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4. Do not be discouraged by the teasing from your parents and family. God sees your waiting and He honors patience. We pray you will be able to respond with grace and that He will use this season of courtship with purpose, keeping yourself pure and seeking a spouse who is a mature Believer, with marriage as the goal that honors God. For we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We also join you in prayer for your dear friend who has treated you like a daughter. We ask the Lord to heal him, to strengthen him, to bless him abundantly for his kindness to you, and to draw him closer to Jesus.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift our sister to You. We thank You for her faith and thankfulness. We ask You to grant her favor in these job applications, to provide a just and full settlement, to deliver her from debt, to heal her body completely, to surround her with genuine godly friendships, and in Your perfect will to bring her a godly husband who will love her as Christ loves the church. Align her steps with Your plan and let her find her rest and security in You. Give her peace as she waits, and let her continue to trust in You with all her heart and not lean on her own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6. We ask all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We hear how much you are carrying right now and we thank you for sharing it so honestly. Waiting on job news while debt from an accident you did not cause is still hanging over you is a heavy place to be, and we can understand why you feel tired and stretched thin. We are also hearing how tender your heart is about healing from your injuries, about your friend who has been like a father to you, and about longing for marriage while family comments make the wait harder.

In a season with so many needs at once, it helps to keep a few steady habits. After last week's interview, if you have not already, a brief thank you note to the interviewer can be a good way to follow up while you continue to watch for other openings. For the insurance and medical side, keeping one folder with all bills, records and correspondence, staying in regular contact with the adjuster, and continuing to follow up with your doctor for your injuries can help you stay clear on next steps. We encourage you to keep your medical team involved as you pray for healing, alongside prayer not instead of it.

You are not forgotten in this waiting, and your worth is not measured by a job title or marital status. God sees your faithfulness and your desire to walk with Him.

Father, we bring our friend to You today. Provide for her needs, guide her steps toward work that fits Your plan, and bring wisdom for the insurance and financial burdens. Bring healing to her body and to her dear friend, and surround her with genuine, loving community. Comfort her heart as she waits for marriage, and help her to rest in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your thankfulness for another day is a sweet and fitting beginning, and it is well that you couple it with prayer, for all our times of pleasure ought to be times of prayer, and every season of despondency should ring us to our knees.

You have been brought, like Job, into a place of trial through losses not of your own causing, and you have done well not to charge God foolishly. It is written concerning Job that he feared God and eschewed evil, and though Satan was permitted to sift him and all God's waves and billows went over him, in all this Job sinned not. There are many schooled in the same school who have spoken after the same valiant fashion, and you may be sure that He who upheld Job can support you. When Job was among the ashes, Jehovah revealed Himself, and Job saw Him more vividly than before, and at the last the Lord restored to His servant twice as much as he had before. Take comfort then that your times are in His hands, and that He who numbers the hairs of your head will not forget your labour in seeking honest work.

Concerning your petitions for employment and for deliverance from debt, we will entreat the Lord with you that He would open doors which no man can shut and align your steps with His wise and gracious plan. Labour is honourable, and to desire to provide for your needs, to pay what is owed, and to save and live soberly is comely in His sight. We pray that if it be His will, the settlement which is due would be dealt justly and speedily, and that whether by one position or two, the Lord would supply your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Yet we pray more that you may be kept from unbelieving speeches in the waiting, and be enabled to say with Job, though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.

For your healing and for that of your dear friend who has treated you with such fatherly kindness, we look to the great Physician. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, He says, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. We will pray that the Lord would lay His healing hand upon your body where the injuries of that accident still linger, and that He would restore your friend, and above all that you both may know the deeper healing of soul which comes through forgiveness by the blood of Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other.

You ask also for genuine fellowship and for a godly husband, and you speak of waiting and of being teased for your waiting. The Lord knows the desire of your heart, and it is good that you desire marriage as God ordained it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, entered into in the Lord and kept in purity, for sex and living together belong within that covenant alone. We will pray that the Lord in His perfect timing would bring into your life a man after the pattern of Boaz, a faithful Christian man who will love you, cherish you and lead your home in the fear of God, if it be His will for you. Be not hasty, nor turn aside to the right or to the left from the way of holiness to find companionship, but wait upon the Lord, who maketh all things beautiful in His time. He who gave Ruth favour in the eyes of Boaz can do the same for you, and whether He gives or withholds, He will give grace to bear the waiting and to use your singleness for His glory.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, who hast revealed Thyself in Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, we thank Thee for this Thy child who comes with a grateful heart. Thou seest the applications sent, the interview past, and the need for daily bread. Provide, we beseech Thee, such honest employment as Thou seest best, and cause justice to be done concerning the debt laid upon her. Heal her body from every injury, and heal her dear friend, and let both feel the virtue of those healing leaves which flow from Christ. Grant genuine and godly friends to surround her, and if it please Thee, grant a husband who loves Thee first and will love her as Christ loves His Church, in holy and lifelong marriage. Keep her steps in Thy way, give her fresh oil and renewed strength as Thou didst for Job, and let her glory be fresh in Thee. All this we ask in the name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.
