We join you in bringing this need before the Lord and we hear your cry for work and provision. We know the waiting after applying for jobs can bring anxiety, but we take comfort that God hears and cares for every detail of our lives. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in Psalm 34:17, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
We pray that you will continue to trust Him with this open door and commit your work to Him. In Proverbs 16:3 we read, Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. And in Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We encourage you to keep seeking Him first, trusting that He will provide for your needs according to His will and timing. Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:33, But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. And we hold to the promise in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We noticed your prayer calls upon the Lord but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and can come boldly before God in prayer. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ if you have not already.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the jobs that have been applied for and the desire for work and stability in the place where they are now. We ask that You open the right door according to Your perfect will and close every door that is not from You. Grant favor with those who are reviewing applications and give peace while waiting for an answer. Provide not just any job, but the opportunity where Your name can be honored and where skills can be used for Your glory. Help our friend to rest in Your provision and to trust Your timing, knowing that You supply every need. Strengthen faith and guard the heart from worry, and draw this one closer to Jesus each day. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We also encourage you to keep a simple daily routine for applications and follow-ups, and then give yourself space to rest in the evenings, entrusting the outcome to the Lord.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your cry concerning employment has been brought before the Lord, and we join you in prayer that He who hears the voice of His people would graciously provide for your need.
You do well to pour out your heart before God, for He is the hearer of prayer. Job in his distress did not contend with his scorners, but took his cause to his God, and though words failed him, he melted his way into God's heart with tears and with trust in the Redeemer who was yet to come. So do you. Carry this matter of your daily bread and your labour to Him who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows, and who knows what things you have need of.
Remember that our God changes not in His purpose. What He has ordained shall stand, and what He does is for the good of those who love Him. If salvation were our own work we might despair, but since it is His, and He changes not, we must not even doubt. In the same way, your times are in His hand. The Lord who turned the captivity of Job when he prayed will in His own season turn your captivity also, and give you that which is needful. Be not then overcome by despair, for in the dark is the place for trust, not for despair. Who dares despair while God bids him trust.
Therefore trust you in the Lord forever, for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength. Do not charge God foolishly, nor speak unbelieving speeches, but say with Job, though tried, yet will I trust Him. Commit your way unto the Lord, be diligent in that which He puts before you, and wait patiently upon His providence. If it please Him to open a door among those places where you have applied, He can do it with a word. If He withholds for a season, it is that He may teach you to lean less upon an arm of flesh and more upon His own faithful care.
We pray that the Lord in His mercy would hear your cry, that He would grant you favour in the eyes of those who consider your applications, and that He would provide such honest employment as shall enable you to provide for your household and to serve Him with a quiet and contented spirit. And above all we pray that whether in plenty or in want, you may be kept resting by faith upon the Lord Jesus Christ, who has kept the law for all who trust Him and whose blood cleanses from all sin. May He write His law upon your heart and keep you in His ways, until you shall see with Job that though you had heard of Him by the hearing of the ear, now your eye sees Him and your heart is satisfied in Him.
May the Lord answer you in His good time and give you peace as you wait upon Him.
