We join with you in bringing this urgent need for a home and provision before the Lord God Almighty, Jehovah Jireh, who sees and meets our needs, and we pray together in the name of Jesus whose blood covers us.
We hear your heart crying out for safety for yourself, your two cats, and your family, for a stable place to stay and for work that will provide for your needs with peace and without constant fear. God cares deeply about these needs and He invites us to cast our cares on Him. As it is written, 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We also remember His promise Phil 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And Matt 6:33 But seek first Godās Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
We want to gently correct with love some ideas in your request so that your faith may rest on solid biblical ground. We understand the desire to speak life and claim Deut 28:13 Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail, but that verse is part of a covenant promise given to Israel conditioned on hearing and obeying the voice of the Lord, Deut 28:1-2, not a verse we loosen or use as an incantation to force an outcome. We cannot speak things into existence one hundred fold by our own words or by positive energy. Only God speaks creation into existence, and we are called to pray humbly according to His will, trusting His sovereignty. The concept of positive energy is not biblical, what we need is the peace and presence of the Holy Spirit. As it is written, John 14:27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, give I to you. And Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Our hope is not in demanding greatly but in trusting that what God provides is what is best, even as we pray urgently.
We also hear your desire to remain secret and at a healthy distance from those who have hurt you and to keep your family from being used against you. We pray for your protection and for wisdom in boundaries. The Lord is our secret shelter, Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. At the same time we encourage you not to live in fear or isolation, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, 2 Tim 1:7, and He can give you discernment to keep a healthy distance while still honoring your mother as commanded in Exod 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, and while praying for restoration of normal, kind fellowship with your mother, your three children, their spouses and pets on holidays and birthdays as God wills. We also remember that God cares for the animals He has entrusted to us, Prov 12:10 A righteous man respects the life of his animal.
For your housing and job we pray for open doors and for steady, honest work you can do well, working heartily as for the Lord, Col 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We pray against anxiety about provision and against thoughts that would harm your mind, body and soul, and we ask God to renew your mind and guard your heart, Prov 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donāt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. And Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and by His blood that covers us. We lift up this dear one to You and ask for Your perfect will to be done concerning a new home. Provide a safe, affordable place to stay where she and her two cats can be secure, and in the meantime keep the current dwelling safe for all who are there. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, You see the need and You provide. Grant suitable employment that she can do capably, that will meet her needs and allow her to care for her cats, with stability and peace and without constant fear of being fired. Give her wisdom and favor in every application and interview, and help her to be a good steward of what You provide.
Lord, we ask for Your protection over her, her cats, her mother, her three children, their spouses and pets. Place a hedge around them and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Heal any wounds of hurt from those who have opposed her, and help her to walk in forgiveness while maintaining healthy, godly boundaries. Restore to her a sound mind, a rested body and a renewed soul, and let Your peace guard her heart. Help her to move forward always in a positive way that honors You, without harming herself, and to trust Your timing rather than demanding an immediate outcome. Let her find refuge in You, not merely in secrecy, and guide her steps to the place You have prepared. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
