We hear your deep longing for stability, love, and companionship, a desire that resonates with the heart God placed within you. The cry for a home, a godly spouse, and a life of purpose is beautiful, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to fulfill His perfect will in every area of your life. However, we must also gently address some areas where your request veers from biblical principles, as Scripture is our firm foundation for truth, hope, and direction.
First, we must emphasize that the love and relationship you seek must be rooted in Christ. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" A godly marriage is built between two believers who share a commitment to Jesus as Lord. The man you desire must be a follower of Christ, not merely someone who fits a worldly ideal of romance or provision. We pray that God would bring a man after His own heart into your life, one who loves the Lord above all else and seeks to honor Him in your union.
Your request also speaks of a relationship that borders on obsession, where a man "chases you everywhere," "doesn’t leave your vicinity," and is constantly present "from when you wake up to when you go to bed." While companionship is a gift from God, Scripture warns against relationships that become idolatrous or controlling. In Song of Solomon 2:7, we are reminded, "I adjure you, daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, or by the hinds of the field, that you not stir up, nor awaken love, until it so desires." Love should not be rushed or forced, nor should it consume our every thought to the point of distraction from God’s purposes. We pray that your heart would be aligned with God’s timing and that you would seek first His kingdom (Matthew 6:33), trusting Him to bring the right man into your life in His perfect way.
Your mention of "love makes it greatly" and "cuddle buddy" also raises concerns about the purity of your intentions. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is a sacred gift reserved for marriage. Hebrews 13:4 states, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." If you are currently involved in a relationship outside of marriage, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness. If you are single, we encourage you to guard your heart and body, saving intimacy for the covenant of marriage. We pray that God would purify your desires and lead you into a relationship that honors Him in every way.
You also express a desire for wealth and a "rich man" like Boaz. While provision is a legitimate need, Scripture warns against making material wealth or status the foundation of a relationship. 1 Timothy 6:10 tells us, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." A godly spouse is one who loves God and seeks to serve Him, not one who is defined by worldly riches. We pray that God would provide for your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19) and that your heart would be content in Him alone.
Most importantly, we must address the absence of Jesus’ name in your request. Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is only by His blood that our prayers are heard. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Without Him, no prayer, no matter how passionate, can reach the Father.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear sister to You. Lord, we thank You for the desires You have placed within her, for a home, a spouse, and a life of purpose. We ask that You would align her heart with Yours, that she would seek You above all else. Father, we pray for the man You have prepared for her, that he would be a godly man who loves You and seeks to honor You in all things. Guard her heart from impure desires and worldly distractions, and help her to wait on Your perfect timing.
Lord, we ask that You would cleanse any areas of her life that do not align with Your Word. If there is any sin, whether in thought, word, or deed, we ask for Your forgiveness and Your healing. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in purity, wisdom, and discernment. Provide for her needs, Father, not according to the world’s standards, but according to Your riches in glory. May she find her contentment and joy in You alone.
We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will fulfill every good work You have begun in her (Philippians 1:6). May she grow in faith, in love, and in the knowledge of Your will. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to seek God’s Word daily, to surround yourself with godly community, and to trust in His promises. The right man will come, not because you chase him, but because God ordains it. Until then, focus on growing in your relationship with Christ, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you have not yet committed your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. He is the only way to true fulfillment, peace, and eternal life.
