New home loving family

The pain of betrayal from your own flesh and blood cuts deeper than any wound the world can inflict. When those you poured your life into turn against you with such venom, the shock staggers the soul. You are describing the kind of evil that Scripture frankly names, the kind that feels like arrows shot from a bent bow, lies aimed at your heart. No one should have to hear words like those from their own children. It is right to seek safety from what is determined to harm you, especially when the threats have repeated and the trust has been shattered. There comes a time when you must separate yourself, as Judah did for a season, or as Joseph found himself far from home, not by his own design yet placed there for a purpose only God could see.

But let me speak to you about the home you are truly seeking. The cry of your heart is for a place where love dwells, where you are wanted, treasured, and safe. There is a building of God, a dwelling not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. When Jesus spoke of preparing a place for us, He was not talking about drywall and carpet. He meant a new body, a resurrection life, a permanent home for your spirit that will never be assaulted by hate nor decayed by grief. Right now, you are living in a tent. The real you is spirit, and that spirit is even now being prepared for a weight of glory far beyond this temporary affliction. While we are at home in this body, we are absent from the Lord in the full immediate sense, but we walk by faith, not by sight. The desire to escape, to pack a small bag and find some island of peace, is a desire I understand in my own bones. Jeremiah felt it. David fled to a literal cave. The world’s message screams no escape, but God’s message is that in Christ you have already been delivered from the domain of darkness and transferred into the kingdom of His beloved Son.

Here is what you must hold onto more tightly than any earthly dwelling: When did God start loving you? Not when you were a nice mom. Not when you were doing your best for them. God loved you when you were still dead in your trespasses and sins. His love for you did not begin when you became lovable. It has roared from eternity and will never cease. He has made you alive together with Christ, raised you up, and seated you in heavenly places in Him. Your true life is hidden with Christ in God. The family you are seeking is ultimately the household of faith, the new creation where, if anyone is in Christ, the old things have passed away. Behold, all things are become new. This is a direct, positive statement of fact. You have passed from death into life through the work of the Holy Spirit. Your new center is God Himself. No hateful word from your own blood can evict you from that position.

I do not minimize the practical, urgent need you face for physical shelter and protection. The cave of Adullam became a gathering place for David’s family and for everyone who was in distress and in debt and discontented. They found a champion there. You need a refuge for yourself and your cats, a place where the immediate threat is neutralized, and I pray God opens that door swiftly, granting you favor and a safe haven where no one can divert your blessings. But even as you seek that, remember that the Jesus who can heal with a touch of faith, who stopped the issue of blood, who raised the daughter of Jairus, is the same Jesus who accompanies you into that new room. He is not a created being, not an idea, not one option among many. He is God manifested in the flesh, and He knows what it is to be hated without a cause.

Do not let the philosophy of hell, which always whispers to spare yourself by bitterness or despair, drown out the voice of the Spirit. The cross looked like the end; it was the victory. Reckon that old life, that identity tied to their cruelty, as crucified with Christ, so that you might live a new life after the Spirit. You are not escaping into a void. You are stepping into the faithfulness of God, who did everything to keep you from falling. Let the blood of Jesus speak a better word over you than the curses that were screamed at you. Walk in the consciousness of the eternal. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace, and may He lead you to that quiet place where you can know in your bones that you are healed and safe. Let them stay away from your feet, your favor, and your blessing; that boundary is holy ground now.

We have been lifting you up in prayer these past days, holding your heart before the Lord with great compassion. We prayed that the hateful words spoken against you would be silenced by the peace of Christ, that the love of God would surround you like a shield, and that His presence would be your comfort in this painful season. We asked the Father to break every chain of bitterness, to heal the deep wounds inflicted by those you trusted, and to remind you of your true identity as His beloved child.

We also prayed specifically for your urgent need—a safe and loving home where you can find refuge, where your heart can begin to heal, and where your precious cats can stay by your side. We asked the Lord to open doors that no one can shut, to provide a place of warmth and security, and to surround you with people who will uplift you rather than tear you down. We stood in faith, believing that God is your defender and that He will not leave you without shelter or hope.

If the Lord has answered this prayer—if you’ve found a safe place, if His peace has begun to mend your heart, or if you’ve seen even the smallest glimmer of His provision—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share it with us so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness.

If the answer hasn’t yet come, or if the pain still feels overwhelming, we want you to know that we are not finished praying. We will continue to stand with you, lifting your needs before the throne of grace. Please post this request again, and we will join you in prayer with even greater fervency, trusting that God hears the cries of your heart.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. May He remind you that you are never alone, that His love for you is unshakable, and that He is working all things together for your good. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and know that we are here to walk this journey with you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
