We hear the deep pain and desperation in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The hurt caused by those who were meant to love and protect you is unimaginable, and we stand with you in seeking refuge, safety, and a new beginning. First and foremost, we want to address the weight of what you’ve shared with the truth and love of Scripture.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 27:10, "For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but Yahweh will take me up." Even when those closest to us turn away or cause harm, God promises to be a Father to the fatherless and a refuge for the brokenhearted. You are not alone, and your worth is not defined by the rejection or cruelty of others. In Isaiah 41:10, God says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Cling to this truth as you seek safety and a new home.

We must also address the language and anger in your words, as Scripture calls us to guard our hearts and speak with love, even in pain. Ephesians 4:29 says, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." While your hurt is valid, we encourage you to release the bitterness and anger to God, for He alone can heal and restore. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" Trust that God sees your pain and will bring justice in His perfect way.

We also want to gently remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to God and the hope of salvation. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus, asking Him to be your Lord and Savior. He is the only one who can truly heal your heart and guide you into the future He has for you.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is hurting deeply. Lord, You see the pain, the rejection, and the betrayal she has endured at the hands of those who were meant to love her. We ask that You would be her refuge and strength, a very present help in this time of trouble. Surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we pray for her safety and provision. Open doors for her to find a safe and loving home where she can heal and thrive. Provide for her needs, both physically and emotionally, and lead her to people who will uplift and encourage her. We ask that You would bless her with a new family, one that reflects Your love and grace. Give her the strength to leave behind what is toxic and to step into the future You have for her.

Lord, we also pray for her children and family members who have caused her such pain. Soften their hearts, Father, and reveal to them the error of their ways. Bring conviction where there is hardness, and lead them to repentance. We ask that You would break any strongholds of evil or deception in their lives and restore them to a right relationship with You.

We rebuke the spirit of hatred, division, and bitterness that has taken root in this situation. In the name of Jesus, we command it to leave and declare that Your love and peace will prevail. Fill this dear one with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let her experience Your healing touch. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that You have a purpose and plan for her life.

Father, we ask that You would guide her steps as she seeks a new place to call home. Provide for her cats as well, Lord, for You care for all Your creation. Give her wisdom and discernment in every decision she makes, and let her feel Your presence with her every step of the way.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the hope we have in You. We trust that You will restore what has been broken and bring beauty from these ashes. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to seek out a local church or Christian community where you can find support, prayer, and fellowship. God often works through His people to provide for our needs, and you do not have to walk this journey alone. Psalm 68:6 says, "God sets the lonely in families." Trust that He will lead you to the right people and the right place.

If you are able, consider reaching out to Christian organizations or shelters that may be able to assist you in finding a safe and stable environment. Your safety is of utmost importance, and we pray that God will open doors for you quickly.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God’s love for you is unchanging and unconditional. No matter what others have said or done, He calls you His beloved child. Jeremiah 31:3 says, "Yahweh appeared of old to me, saying, ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness.’" Hold onto this promise, and let it be the foundation of your healing and hope.

You are not forgotten, and you are not without hope. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good.

You love your cats, and we don’t want you to have to leave them behind or risk yourself to protect them without support.

We also want you to know that your weariness and tears are not a sign of failure. No mother can control the hearts of her children, and the evil you sense does not reflect your worth. Right now, the priority is getting you to a place where you can breathe without fear. Let someone help you take that next step.

Lord Jesus, you see this mother’s pain and her desperate need for refuge. Surround her with your protection and open a way where she feels only closed doors. Lead her to people who can shelter her quickly, keep her cats safe, and speak to her heart with the kindness she has been missing. Bring clarity in the confusion and a steady peace in the middle of this storm. We ask for your healing over every wound caused by those she loves. Amen.

The cry of your heart has reached the ears of the Lord, and He is not unmindful of the deep waters through which you are passing. The venom of those nearest in the flesh is the sharpest trial, for it was so with our Master. The betrayal of Judas was not the blow of an open adversary but of a familiar friend who dipped the sop with Him. You have tasted that same cup, and it is bitter indeed. But remember this: the cruelty of creatures often becomes, in God’s hand, a salutary discipline to disgust us with the Egypt of this world and drive us to our true Refuge. When every earthly brook dries up, we learn to drink from the Rock that follows us.

Yet let us be guarded in speech, even in anguish. The wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God. To cry "F U Satan" is understandable, for our Saviour rebuked the adversary; but the words you write concerning your own children, however wicked their conduct, must be laid alongside that same Saviour’s prayer for His murderers. The healing leaves of the Tree of Life are for the wounds of the heart, and the least word that fell from Christ’s lips is a balm for our inflamed spirits. He bids us bless and curse not. I do not soften the evil of what you have suffered, far from it, but I point you to the remedy that heals the wound and the infection within it.

Your urgent cry is for a new home and a loving family, and for present safety from those who have proven themselves instruments of harm. The Lord knows your down-sitting and uprising. There is a truth more solid than the earth: our Lord Jesus Christ is Himself the divinely appointed City of Refuge. The manslayer in Israel fled not to a mere sentiment but to a literal, appointed sanctuary where the avenger could not touch him. You are never a half-day’s journey from the sheltering breast of Christ. Get within the borders of His atonement, rest under the shadow of the Almighty, and you are secure forever, though the tempest rage without. From that safe shelter, pray that He would order your steps to a literal, peaceful habitation, even a modest place among a people who will uplift you. He that dried up the green tree of worldly pomp can make the dry tree of a desolate life flourish again. Do not despair: the appointed time for the end of this trial shall come.

Take your cats if it may be done lawfully and safely; God cares for the beasts and notes the sparrow’s fall. But do nothing in panic or in secret bitterness. Commit your way to Him who preserves the poor from the dunghill and brings down the mighty from their seats. You cannot control their hearts, but you can flee to the One who covers you with His feathers. The very hateful words they speak shall be as the wave that speeds your vessel toward the harbor, if you will trust the Captain of your salvation. The Lord gave, and they have taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. Let the cry for justice be left in His hands, and let your lips rather be filled with the petition for your own cleansing and protection. The blood of Jesus is not a charm for bitter escape, but a cleansing flood for your own spirit, that you bear no gall within. Stand still and see the salvation of God; the refuge is open, the healer is present, and not a hair of your head shall ultimately perish. Under His wings you shall trust.

What profit is it to cry out against the evil of others while filling your own mouth with curses and bitterness? You have been wounded deeply, I see it, and your soul cries for refuge. But listen: the refuge you seek in a new home and a new family of flesh will not heal the wound within. You say your children’s hearts are hard, and you call upon the blood of Jesus against them. Yet that precious blood was shed for the healing of all, not for calling down wrath upon our own kin. Take care, then, that while fleeing their outward malice, you do not let your own heart become a furnace of hatred. For what advantage is it to escape a physical danger and into the soul’s destruction?

You are not ignorant of the Scriptures, yet you act as one without arms in battle. The enemy seeks to devour you not only through their cruelty but through your own raging response. Do not give place to the devil by returning evil for evil. The righteous man, even when wronged, does not pour out imprecations but entrusts himself to the Judge of all. You speak of a new family that uplifts you; I tell you, there is a family that never fails: the household of the saints, the Church of the living God. There you will find a mother who holds you without betrayal, and brethren who will not cast you out. But you must enter that refuge with a heart washed not only by the blood of Jesus but by tears of repentance for every vain word.

You say you did your best and were a nice mother. Even so, search your soul: has any root of pride or anger grown up to choke the fruit of the Spirit? Do not merely flee their presence; flee first to the physician of souls. Let your cry be: “If any man thirst, let him come to Me and drink.” Drink deeply of the living water, for only that can quench the fire of these trials. Let your mind be stayed on the holy men who fled the tumults of the world not by mere change of place, but by inward stillness. They found in desert cells what no earthly home can give: the peace of Christ. Imitate them. Seek a quiet place if need be, but seek it to grow in prayer, not to brood over injuries.

As for your children, I do not excuse their foul words or deeds. There is indeed a judgment for those who dishonor a parent. But do you take care that you be not found among those who, while professing love, now curse. Let them go their way if they will not receive you; shake the dust from your feet, but do not load your tongue with maledictions. Pray that they be brought to right-mindedness, and leave vengeance to the Lord. Will the merchant abandon his ship because of a storm? Then do not abandon hope for their souls, even while you protect your own safety.

And your cats, God cares for the sparrow, yet how much more for an immortal soul? See that your love for these creatures does not become a snare, making you choose bitterness over forgiveness. Go, if you must, to a place of safety; but go as a pilgrim, with a small bag and a large heart, full of prayer, not of wrath. So will you have refuge not only from your children but from the evil one. Lay hold of the life that is life indeed, and let the dead bury their dead. In that new home of the spirit, you will find the joy of the feast-day that does not end, through the grace and loving-kindness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
