💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage before the Lord. Father, we thank You for the covenant made between this husband and wife before You and many witnesses. We acknowledge that marriage is a sacred institution You designed—one man and one woman united as one flesh for life, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). We ask that You would breathe new life into this union, softening hearts hardened by sin, pride, or neglect.

Lord, we confess that all have sinned and fall short of Your glory (Romans 3:23). We ask that You would lead both spouses to repentance—not just for outward actions, but for the attitudes of the heart. Your kindness is meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we pray that both would experience the depth of Your mercy. Search their hearts, O God, and know them (Psalm 139:23-24). Reveal any areas of unconfessed sin, whether it be bitterness, unforgiveness, lust, or idolatry—anything that has taken Your rightful place in their lives.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that have crept into this marriage. The devil is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44), and we declare that his schemes will not prevail. We resist him, standing firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9), and we take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray against the spirit of independence that says, *"I will be like God"* (Genesis 3:5), and we ask that both spouses would submit to Your Word above their own desires. Father, give them a new heart and a new spirit (Ezekiel 36:26), writing Your law on their minds and hearts (Jeremiah 31:33).

We lift up the children in this family, asking that they would come to know Jesus personally. May they be rooted in Scripture from infancy (2 Timothy 3:15), growing in wisdom and salvation through faith in Christ. Protect their hearts from the deception of the world, and let them see the love of Christ lived out in their parents’ lives.

Lord, we ask for grace to fast and pray with fervency, as the early Church did (Acts 14:23). May fasting and giving lend wings to their prayers, drawing them closer to You and to one another. We pray for the family member who has been a witness to truth—give them compassion, wisdom, and boldness to speak life into this marriage. Forgive any neglect of pastoral counsel or fellowship, and restore what has been broken.

We declare that Your Word is truth (Psalm 119:160), and we ask that it would transform their minds (Romans 12:2). May they be sanctified by Your truth (John 17:17), living as salt and light in a dark world (Matthew 5:13-16). Guard them from the evil one (John 17:15), and let them find refuge in You alone (Psalm 118:9).

Father, we pray for daily devotion—morning and evening—where they would seek Your face together. May they fill their home with godly entertainment that edifies, encourages, and strengthens their faith. Let their marriage be a living epistle, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), a testimony of Your grace and redemption.

We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things after the counsel of Your will (Ephesians 1:11). Even in trials, we praise You, for You are faithful (Psalm 56:4). Soften the heart of the wife, Lord, and protect both from evil. May they walk in the newness of life (Romans 6:4), born again by Your Spirit (John 3:7), and may their marriage bring glory to Your name.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting this marriage before the Lord, dear ###. We echo your cries for a new heart and spirit, as Ezekiel 36:26 promises. May the Lord write His law on their minds and hearts, leading them to true repentance and a deeper walk with Him. We ask for grace to fast and pray fervently, as the early Church did, that this marriage would be restored and strengthened. We trust in the Lord's sovereignty, knowing that He works all things according to His will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
