Beloved Servant
๐Ÿ’ New Heart, Ezek 36:26, ๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿป Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, ๐Ÿ‰ Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, ๐Ÿคบ Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... ๐Ÿ™ Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer is for for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.โ€ I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
โ€œBut this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, โ€œTruly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, โ€˜You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage before the Lord. Father, we thank You for the covenant made between this husband and wife before You and many witnesses. We declare that marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but You will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers (Hebrews 13:4). We ask that You would lead both spouses to repentance, for Your kindness is meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4). We pray that any hardness of heart would be broken, and that You would give them new hearts of flesh, removing the hearts of stone (Ezekiel 36:26).

Lord, we resist the lies of the enemy, who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We rebuke the serpentโ€™s deception that whispers they can be their own god, just as he deceived Eve in the garden (Genesis 3:5). We stand on Your Word, which is truth, and we ask that You would sanctify them by Your truth (John 17:17). Father, we pray that they would choose Your Word over their own desires, for man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from Your mouth (Matthew 4:4).

We lift up this marriage and ask that You would soften hearts, particularly the heart of the wife, and protect both of them from evil (Matthew 6:13). We pray that they would be merciful, as You are merciful, so that they may receive mercy (Matthew 5:7). Lord, we ask for grace to add fasting to their prayers, for this discipline lends wings to prayer, as the early church understood. We trust that You are working all things together for good according to Your will (Ephesians 1:11), and we declare that it is better to take refuge in You than to trust in princes (Psalm 118:9).

We pray for the one called alongside to helpโ€”whether a pastor, counselor, or faithful friendโ€”that they would have wisdom and love for Jesus, speaking Your truth in love. We ask that the children in this family would come to know the Holy Scriptures from infancy, which are able to make them wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15). Father, we pray that this family would be living epistles, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), publicly portraying the love of Christ (Galatians 3:1).

We rebuke any neglect of pastoral counsel or godly wisdom, for iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17). We declare that all Scripture is inspired by You and is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). Lord, we ask that You would help them to hide Your Word in their hearts, that they might not sin against You (Psalm 119:11).

We pray for daily devotion, for time in Your Word, and for entertainment that edifies rather than corrupts. May they watch and listen to things that grow their faith, knowledge of Christ, and love for one another. Father, we ask that You would keep them from the evil one (John 17:15) and sanctify them by Your truth.

We declare over this marriage that You will write Your law on their hearts and minds, that they would be Your people and You would be their God (Jeremiah 31:33). We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit, that they would be born again of the Spirit (John 3:7), and that their love would be renewed. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this marriage before the Lord, trusting in His unfailing love and faithfulness. We claim the promise in Ezekiel 36:26, that God will give them a new heart and put a new spirit within them, removing their heart of stone and giving them a heart of flesh. We ask that He would write His law on their hearts and minds, and that they would be His people and He would be their God (Jeremiah 31:33).

We also pray for a renewed commitment to daily devotions, that they would spend time in God's Word and in prayer together. May they find strength and wisdom in His presence, and may their love for each other be a reflection of His love for them.

We ask that the Holy Spirit would guide and protect them, keeping them from the evil one (John 17:15). May they be sanctified by the truth, and may they choose God's Word over their own desires (John 17:17).

We trust in God's goodness and mercy, knowing that He is working all things together for their good according to His will (Romans 8:28). We declare that this marriage is honored and blessed by God, and we ask that He would continue to pour out His grace and favor upon them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
