New Heart, Ezek 36:26, Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer is for for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage before the Lord. Father, we thank You for the covenant made before You and witnesses, a sacred bond reflecting Christ’s love for His church. Yet we confess that the enemy seeks to distort and destroy what You have joined together, whispering lies of self-sufficiency, pride, and division—echoes of the serpent’s deception in Eden. We rebuke those lies in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that no weapon formed against this union shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The heart of stone must yield to the heart of flesh You promise, softened by Your mercy and truth (Ezekiel 36:26).

Lord, we cry out for repentance—true repentance that leads to transformation. Your kindness is meant to lead us there (Romans 2:4), and we plead for humility in this marriage. Forgive where pastoral counsel has been neglected, where pride has hardened hearts, and where the Word has been set aside for the world’s wisdom. We fast and pray, asking You to lend wings to these petitions (Matthew 17:21), that this couple would be renewed by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5-6). Let Your Word dwell in them richly, correcting, teaching, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16), so that every thought, word, and deed aligns with Your will.

We pray for the spouse who has strayed, that Your Spirit would convict with gentleness, not condemnation (John 16:8). Soften her heart to receive truth, to resist the devil’s schemes (James 4:7), and to choose You over the fleeting allure of being her own god (Genesis 3:5). Protect her from the evil one, who prowls like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8), and guard her mind with the helmet of salvation (Ephesians 6:17). May she find refuge in You alone, not in the shifting sands of human wisdom or the empty promises of the world (Psalm 118:9).

For the one standing firm in faith, we ask for endurance and grace to love as Christ loves—patiently, sacrificially, and without bitterness (Ephesians 4:32). Let this trial refine, not break, their trust in You. May their actions and devotion to Scripture testify to the truth of the Gospel (2 Corinthians 3:2), drawing their spouse and children to the Savior. We pray for the children in this home, that from infancy they would know the Holy Scriptures, which make them wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15). Let their laughter, joy, and worldview be rooted in You, not the world’s corruption.

Father, we declare that this marriage is not beyond Your redemption. You cause all things to work together for good to those who love You (Romans 8:28), and we trust Your timing, not ours. Turn their hearts toward one another as rivers of water in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1). Sanctify them by Your truth; Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Let them be living epistles of Your love, publicly portraying Christ’s sacrifice (Galatians 3:1) and reflecting Your glory in their home.

We seal this prayer in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Without Him, our prayers are powerless, for there is no other mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). We thank You for the cross, where mercy and justice met, and where this marriage can find healing. May they walk in the newness of life (Romans 6:4), born again by Your Spirit, until the day they see You face to face.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
