Beloved of All
💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer is for for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage before the Lord. Father, we thank You for the covenant of marriage You established—a sacred bond between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for His Church. We pray for this union, that You would breathe new life into it, softening hardened hearts and renewing spirits by Your mercy.

Lord, we ask that You would lead both spouses to repentance, for Your kindness is meant to draw us to a place of humility and turning back to You (Romans 2:4). Forgive any neglect of pastoral counsel, any pride that has hindered obedience, and any sin that has crept into this marriage—whether through unkindness, selfishness, or the lies of the enemy that seek to divide what You have joined together. We rebuke the serpent’s deceptions (John 8:44) and declare that this marriage will not be given over to the schemes of the evil one. Instead, let Your truth reign in their hearts, writing Your law upon their minds and hearts as You have promised (Jeremiah 31:33).

We pray for a new heart in each spouse—a heart of flesh, tender and responsive to Your Spirit (Ezekiel 36:26). Where there has been bitterness, replace it with forgiveness. Where there has been silence, restore communication rooted in love and respect. Where there has been wandering, draw them back to the vows they made before You and many witnesses. Father, we ask that You would cause all things to work together for their good, according to Your will (Ephesians 1:11), not their own timing or desires.

We also lift up the children in this family, asking that they would come to know and love Jesus through the faithful witness of their parents. May the Word of God be their foundation, making them wise for salvation through faith in Christ (2 Timothy 3:15). Guard their hearts and minds, Lord, and let this home be a place where Your truth is lived out in word and deed—a living epistle known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2).

We pray for the one who stands alongside this marriage, that You would fill them with wisdom, patience, and discernment. Give them the right words to speak, and may their actions reflect the love of Christ. Father, we ask that You would sanctify this family by Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Do not take them out of the world, but keep them from the evil one (John 17:15).

Lord, we also bring before You the desire for spiritual disciplines—morning and evening devotions, godly counsel, and media that edifies rather than corrupts. Strengthen their resolve to prioritize time in Your Word, for it is useful to teach, rebuke, correct, and train in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). Let their lives be a public portrayal of Christ’s love (Galatians 3:1), drawing others to You.

We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in the gap, praying that You would restore what has been broken. May they find refuge in You alone, trusting in Your faithfulness even in the midst of trials (Psalm 56:4). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who holds all things together. Amen.

We have been lifting you and your marriage before the Lord these past days, standing in agreement with the deep cries of your heart as you seek His transforming work. How precious it is to see you clinging to the promise of Ezekiel 36:26, trusting God for a new heart—not just for yourself, but for your spouse and your family. We have prayed alongside you, asking the Father to lead you all to repentance, just as Romans 2:4 declares, knowing that His kindness is what draws us to Him.

We have interceded for the softening of hearts, that the lies of the enemy would be resisted and the truth of God’s Word would take root. Your longing to see your family grow in love for Jesus, to walk in understanding of His will, and to become living epistles of His grace has been our prayer as well. We have asked the Lord to give you and your spouse grace to fast, to seek Him wholeheartedly, and to witness His mercy poured out in ways that only He can orchestrate.

We continue to trust in God’s perfect timing, knowing that He is working all things according to the counsel of His will (Ephesians 1:11). Even when the path feels uncertain, we stand with you in declaring that His Word is truth, and His promises are sure. If the Lord has moved in answer to these prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. If the wait continues, we invite you to post this request again so that we may persist in prayer with you.

May the Lord bless you with His peace as you seek Him. May He strengthen your faith, deepen your trust, and draw your family closer to His heart. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
