💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer is for for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage before the Lord. Father, we thank You for the covenant of marriage You established between one man and one woman, a sacred bond reflecting Christ’s love for His church. We see the cry for repentance, restoration, and renewal in this request, and we stand in agreement with Your Word that says, *"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh"* (Ezekiel 36:26). Lord, we ask that You would do this very work in both spouses—soften hardened hearts, break the chains of pride, and lead them to humility before You.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that have crept into this marriage, for Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44) and seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We resist the deception that one can be their own god (Genesis 3:5), for only You are sovereign. We declare that this marriage is under Your lordship, and we pray that both husband and wife would submit to Your will, not their own. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Father, we lift up the neglect of pastoral counsel and the avoidance of godly wisdom. Your Word warns, *"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety"* (Proverbs 11:14). We ask for forgiveness for any disobedience in this area and pray that both spouses would humbly seek wise, biblical counsel. Lead them to a church family that will shepherd them with truth and love. *"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord"* (Colossians 3:16).

We also address the desire for repentance and the plea for mercy. *"The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness; but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9). Father, we ask that You would grant both spouses the gift of repentance—true sorrow for sin, turning away from it, and turning toward You. May they experience the kindness of God that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4) and find restoration in Your grace.

We pray for the children in this family, that they would see Christ in their parents’ lives. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6). May the Word of God be their foundation, and may they grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Lord, we ask that You would protect their hearts from the enemy’s schemes and that they would come to know You intimately.

We also lift up the request for fasting and prayer. Jesus Himself said, *"This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting"* (Mark 9:29). We encourage this couple to seek You with their whole hearts, denying themselves for a season to draw nearer to You. May their fasting and prayer lend wings to their petitions, as Tertullian said, and may You move mightily in response.

Father, we pray for protection over this marriage. *"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one"* (Matthew 6:13). Guard their minds from impure thoughts, their hearts from bitterness, and their home from division. May they be sanctified by Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Help them to be living epistles, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), so that Christ’s love may be publicly portrayed in their lives (Galatians 3:1).

We declare over this marriage that *"all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose"* (Romans 8:28). Even in trials, we trust in You, for You are faithful. We pray that this couple would find refuge in You alone, not in the wisdom of man or the shifting sands of culture. *"It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes"* (Psalm 118:9).

Lord, we ask that You would ignite a passion for Your Word in their hearts. May they meditate on it day and night (Psalm 1:2), and may it transform their minds (Romans 12:2). Help them to prioritize time with You, in morning and evening devotions, so that they may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). May their entertainment choices reflect a desire to honor You, filling their minds with what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8).

Finally, we pray for unity in this marriage. *"How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!"* (Psalm 133:1). May they be of one mind, one spirit, and one purpose, just as You and the Father are one (John 17:21). May their love for one another reflect the love of Christ for His church—a love that is patient, kind, not self-seeking, and always hopes (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who alone can save and restore. Amen.
