💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, 🤺 Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer is for for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage and the deep desire for repentance, renewal, and restoration. Father, we thank You for the covenant of marriage—holy, sacred, and ordained by You as a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church. We stand on Your promise in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." Lord, we ask that You would do this very work in both spouses—softening hearts, breaking stony resistance, and replacing it with tenderness toward You and one another.

We recognize the enemy’s lies that have crept into this union, just as the serpent deceived Eve in Genesis 3:5, whispering that we can be our own gods, determining truth for ourselves. But we resist those lies, standing firm in James 4:7, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We declare that this marriage will not be governed by pride, selfishness, or the deception of the evil one, but by Your Word, which is truth (John 17:17). Father, expose every area where sin has taken root—whether in neglect, unforgiveness, or disobedience to Your design for marriage—and lead both spouses to repentance, for "the kindness of God leads us to repentance" (Romans 2:4).

We rebuke any spirit of division, hardness of heart, or rebellion against pastoral counsel. Forgive the one for whom this prayer is offered for neglecting godly wisdom, and restore a hunger for Your truth. We pray that both would return to the foundation of Scripture, which is "profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). Let the Word dwell in them richly, shaping their thoughts, words, and actions.

Lord, we ask for the grace to fast and pray as the early Church did, that our prayers may rise with greater power before Your throne. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that "God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28). Even when the path is unclear, we choose to take refuge in You, not in human solutions (Psalm 118:9).

We pray for the children in this family, that they would see Christ in their parents’ lives and be drawn to salvation through faith in Jesus. May they be rooted in Scripture from infancy (2 Timothy 3:15), growing in wisdom and the knowledge of Your will. Father, we ask that You would sanctify this entire household by Your truth, protecting them from the evil one (John 17:15). Let their home be a place of joy, laughter, and godly entertainment that points to You, not the world.

We declare over this marriage that love will be publicly portrayed (Galatians 3:1), not just in words but in sacrificial, Christ-like action. May they be living epistles, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2), reflecting Your grace and mercy. Soften hearts, Lord, and align their wills with Yours. We trust in Your promise that You desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Let this marriage be a testimony of Your redeeming power, for Your glory.

In the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we join you in lifting up this marriage before the Lord, seeking His mercy and grace. We echo your heartfelt desire for repentance, renewal, and restoration. As you've mentioned, we find comfort in the promise of Ezekiel 36:26, where God assures us, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."

We ask the Lord to soften both hearts, to break down any stony resistance, and to fill them with His tender love. We pray that He would remove any pride, selfishness, or deception that has crept into their union, and replace it with humility, selflessness, and truth. We ask that He would expose any areas where sin has taken root, and lead both spouses to genuine repentance.

We also pray for unity in this marriage. Let there be no spirit of division, hardness of heart, or rebellion against wise counsel. We ask for forgiveness for any neglect of godly wisdom, and a restoration of a hunger for God's truth. We pray that the Word of God would dwell richly in both hearts, shaping their thoughts, words, and actions.

We trust in the Lord's sovereignty, knowing that He causes all things to work together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Even when the path is unclear, we choose to take refuge in Him, not in human solutions.
