New Heart, Ezek 36:26, Renewed by Love, Jn 3:16, Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Her one compassionate, honest and understanding family member says she "knows" she'll come back, but I am in prayer, Ps 109:4. Forgive her for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing... It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual spouse that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” I still aspire to do morning and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, laughter, joy, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

We lift this heartfelt plea to the Lord with deep compassion and conviction, standing on the truth of His Word. Your cry for a restored marriage, a softened heart, and divine intervention resonates with the very heart of God, who desires repentance, reconciliation, and holiness in every covenant relationship. We join you in praying for your wife’s return—not merely to your home, but to the Lord, whose kindness leads to repentance (Romans 2:4). The enemy has sown lies, division, and hardness of heart, but we declare that no scheme of the devil will prevail against a marriage built on Christ (Matthew 16:18).

First, we must address the foundation: salvation in Jesus Christ alone. You mention "God" and "Father," but the name of Jesus—the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12)—must be central. There is no access to the Father except through the Son (John 14:6). If your wife has not surrendered her life to Christ, her heart will remain hardened to His truth. We pray she would be born again (John 3:3), that the veil would be lifted from her eyes (2 Corinthians 3:16), and that she would turn from sin and self-rule to submit to Christ as Lord. The serpent’s lie in Genesis 3:5—"you will be like God"—still deceives today, leading many to reject God’s Word for their own desires. We rebuke that deception in Jesus’ name and pray for her to choose God’s truth over the enemy’s whispers.

Your marriage vows, made before God and witnesses, are sacred and binding (Malachi 2:14; Matthew 19:6). Any separation or neglect of those vows must be confronted with repentance. If there has been unfaithfulness—emotional or physical—it is adultery, and Scripture calls for confession, forgiveness, and restoration (1 Corinthians 7:10-11). If she has hardened her heart to pastoral counsel, we pray for conviction, not condemnation (John 16:8). The Holy Spirit alone can break through pride and rebellion. We also exhort you to examine your own heart: Are you modeling Christ’s love, patience, and humility (Ephesians 5:25)? Are you guarding your marriage from bitterness, unforgiveness, or idolatry (Hebrews 12:15)?

We stand with you in fasting and prayer, as Tertullian wisely noted, for this spiritual battle requires divine power (Mark 9:29). We declare Ezekiel 36:26 over your wife: *"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."* Let this be her testimony! Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
