We rejoice with you over this new disciple and the hunger to worship in spirit and truth, for the hour comes and now is when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshipers, God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth, John 4:23-24. We thank God for the opportunity you have to go to Bible study together tonight and we join you in asking for His hand upon it.

We lift up the need for good interpreters and for grace to learn Spanish much more effectively, that there would be clarity and understanding without confusion, for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, 1 Corinthians 14:33. We ask for wisdom and revelation for both of you, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, Ephesians 1:17, and if any lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him, James 1:5.

We pray for the foundational truths you mentioned, that you may press on beyond the first principles, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God, of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment, Hebrews 6:1-2, and we especially pray for the reality of being born of water and Spirit, for Jesus answered, Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter into God's Kingdom, John 3:5. We ask that this new disciple would be established in repentance and faith and in the full counsel of God.

We also stand with you for protection, praying as our Lord taught us, Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, Matthew 6:13, and as Jesus prayed, we pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one, John 17:15. We know the great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, Revelation 12:9, and there are those holding a form of godliness but having denied its power, from these turn away, 2 Timothy 3:5, so we ask for a hedge of protection from sin, from the evil one, from evil people and from demonic influence.

We pray for the Word to run swiftly, finally brothers, pray for us that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified even as also with you and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men for not all have faith, but the Lord is faithful who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3. May the Word be received with joy and bear much fruit.

And we join our faith with yours for the salvation of your wife, for we know it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish, Matthew 18:14, and the Lord seeks the lost as a shepherd seeks his wandering sheep, Matthew 18:12-13. We pray that God would open her eyes to the truth that there is salvation in no other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and that she would call upon the name of Jesus Christ and be saved.

Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your glory to be revealed tonight, for anointed interpretation, for accelerated understanding of Spanish, for deep wisdom and revelation, for a firm foundation in Christ, for complete protection and deliverance, for Your Word to spread quickly and be glorified, and for the salvation of this dear wife. Draw her by Your Spirit, convict her heart, and bring her into Your Kingdom. Establish this new disciple to walk in holiness, in truth, and in faithful worship all the days of his life. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We're thankful you reached out and let us pray with you for tonight. It means a lot that you want to walk faithfully with this new disciple and see your wife drawn to Jesus too.

We hear how much you are carrying into this one evening, wanting clear communication across Spanish and English, a solid grasp of the foundations, and covering in prayer. Learning a language and learning the faith both take time, and it is good to be teachable and patient with yourself and the others there. Community like a small Bible study is one of the best places for that slow, steady growth, as you listen, ask questions, and help one another.

For tonight, a couple of simple things may help ease the pressure. Try to connect with the interpreter a few minutes early to go over the main points you hope to cover, and keep a small notebook with key words or phrases in both languages so you can check understanding as you go. Afterward, jot down what was clear and what still needs more clarity for next time.

Father, we bring this evening to You. Give grace for language, wisdom and understanding for everyone present, protection from evil, and open hearts to Your truth. We especially lift this wife to You and ask that she would come to know Jesus. Guide this new disciple into repentance, faith, and new life in Christ. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord with thankfulness, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation.

We pray for this new disciple who would worship the Father in spirit and in truth. That is the mark of a new creature, one who has been the subject of a radical change, not merely turned from one form of sin to another, but made new from God's own hand. We ask the Lord to establish this soul upon the foundation spoken of in Hebrews, in repentance from dead works and faith toward God, in the doctrine of baptisms and laying on of hands, and in that being born of water and of the Spirit without which no man shall see the kingdom. May the Lord grant a true and abiding work, separating the old depravity from the new life which He has created.

For your going out to Bible study tonight we ask for grace and provision. May the Lord supply faithful interpreters, give you great grace to learn Spanish and to speak with clarity, and grant wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ. We pray that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified, that it may run swiftly and be received as it is in truth the Word of God, and that you and those who hear may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men, for the Lord is faithful who shall stablish you and keep you from evil.

We pray also for your protection as you have asked, that you may be kept from sin, from the evil one, from evil men and from the deceit of the adversary who deceives the whole world. Sin has an awful power, but it shall not have dominion over you who are under grace. We pray in the words our Lord taught us, that the Father would deliver you from evil, and as He prayed Himself, that you should be kept from the evil while yet in the world. Resist the devil in the strength of faith and in the power of the precious blood, and he will flee from you.

And we make special supplication for your wife, that the Lord would grant her salvation. We know that the Lord is not willing that any should perish, and as a shepherd seeks that which is gone astray, so we pray that He would seek and save her. There is one way of salvation for all, Look unto Him and be saved, for there is none beside Him. May she be turned from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that your household may hear the heavenly message together and rejoice together in Christ, who is Himself our salvation. We pray that He who has begun a good work will perfect it, and that His honor being engaged to save, not one of His sheep shall be lost.

We will continue to pray that you may grow in grace, be kept from the dominion of sin, and be made bold to declare the whole counsel of God as it is written in the inspired volume.
