We join you in prayer together in Jesus' name for you, your mother, your three children, their spouses, and even your pets, asking for God's mercy, protection, and blessing upon your whole family.
We hear your heart crying out for a new day, for breathing room, for joy, for your family to be near one another and to live a life you love, for a secure place to stay, and for a godly husband, a Boaz who is single and available. These are good desires when they are surrendered to God's will, for Psalm 37:4 says Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. We also hear you claiming Deut 28:13 where Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail, and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you shall listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God. We pray you will walk in obedience to Him so that you may experience His favor, not by our own declarations but by His grace.
We want to lovingly correct a few things in your request so your prayers align with scripture. We understand the pain that may be behind the words that others must die or be gone so you can escape in secret safely, but we are called not to pray for the death of others. Rom 12:19 says Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord, and Matt 5:44 says love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Instead of asking for harm to come to anyone, we pray for God's justice, for His protection to surround you, and for your enemies to be removed from having power over you or to be brought to repentance, while you are kept safe. If you are in a situation where you need to escape or need safety, we encourage you to also seek wise and practical help from trusted pastors, family, and local authorities as God provides.
We also gently address the idea of speaking life into existence one hundred fold by our own words. While Prov 18:21 says Death and life are in the power of the tongue, those who love it will eat its fruit, it does not mean we create reality by our declarations. Only God speaks creation into existence. We pray according to His will, for 1 John 5:14 says if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. Our hope is not in the power of our own words or in repeating highly favored, but in the highly favored position we have through the blood of Jesus Christ alone.
We rejoice that you mentioned the blood of Jesus, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Through His blood we are forgiven and made children of God when we put our faith in Him.
Concerning your desire for a Boaz, we pray with you for a godly marriage. We believe marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman that honors God, and we pray that if you are seeking a husband, God will bring a single Christian man who loves Jesus and will love you as Christ loves the church. Prov 18:22 says Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh, and the same principle applies to finding a godly husband. We encourage you to pursue courtship with the goal of marriage to another believer, for 2 Cor 6:14 says Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, and to keep yourself pure, for any sexual intimacy outside of marriage is fornication and does not honor God, but Heb 13:4 says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled. We pray the same for your children and their spouses, that their marriages would be strengthened and centered on Christ.
We now pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You for Your mercy and Your blood that covers us. We lift up this dear one, her mother, her three children, their spouses, and their pets to You. Lord, grant them a new day in You, let Your peace fill their home, and provide a safe and stable place to stay according to Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us, Heb 13:5. We ask for Your protection as they seek to breathe freely, to live near one another in love and unity, and to live a life that glorifies You. We ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way and that You perform miracles according to Your perfect will, for with You all things are possible, Matt 19:26. We ask that You remove oppression and danger from them without us wishing harm on others, and that You lead them to safety and surround them with Your angels. We pray that You will make them the head and not the tail as they walk in obedience to Your word. Lord, if it is Your will, bring a godly, single, available husband after Your own heart to be a blessing and covering, a man who seeks You first, and prepare her heart to be a godly wife. Let all relationships in this family honor You in purity and commitment. We speak Your life and truth over them, not our own will, but Yours be done. Fill them with joy, favor, and hope in Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, amen.
