We lift up this request with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of starting anew—especially when it involves the precious lives of children. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). You are the God of restoration, the Provider of every need, and the Shelter for the weary. We ask that You would go before this family, opening doors that no man can shut and supplying every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, we pray for wisdom and favor as they seek a place to call their own. You know the desires of their hearts, and we trust that You will lead them to a home that is safe, stable, and filled with Your peace. May they not grow weary in this season of transition, but instead, may they find strength in You (Isaiah 40:31). We declare that their steps are ordered by You, and that every detail of their lives is held in Your hands (Psalm 37:23).
We also ask for Your protection over their hearts and minds. Starting over can bring fear, doubt, and uncertainty, but we speak Your truth over them: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). Let them cling to this promise, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we pray for the children in this family. May they feel Your love and presence in a tangible way, especially if this season has been difficult or confusing for them. Surround them with godly influences, mentors, and friends who will point them to You. Guard their hearts from bitterness or resentment, and fill them with joy and hope as they walk this new path (Psalm 127:3).
We must also address the importance of seeking You first in all things. Jesus said, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). We encourage this family to prioritize their relationship with You, trusting that as they do, You will add all that they need. If there are areas where they have not yet surrendered fully to You, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict and draw them closer, for it is only in You that true new beginnings are found.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of lack or fear that may be trying to take root in their lives. We declare that You are their Jehovah Jireh, the God who sees and provides. We speak abundance, provision, and breakthrough over their finances, their housing, and their future. Let them experience Your faithfulness in ways that leave no doubt of Your love for them.
Finally, we pray that this family would come to know You more deeply through this season. May they see Your hand at work in every detail, and may their testimony of Your goodness be a light to others. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Amen.
