GODS DIVINE NEW BEGINNINGS IN MY LIFE

You ask for open doors, for a place to live, for the right job, for ### by ###. These are not wrong to bring before God. Yet listen carefully: John the Baptist did no miracle at all, yet he fixed the attention of whole cities upon himself. Why? Because his life shone with boldness for God, with voluntary poverty, with a zeal that needed no sign. The greatest miracle is not a door swinging open or money appearing in your hand, but a soul made firm as adamant, enduring trial and still clinging to Christ.

Consider Paul. He was thrown into chains, yet his disciples grew bolder, not weaker, for they saw that the gospel was not hindered. Bind a runner’s feet and you stop him, but bind the tongue of an evangelist and the word runs even faster. Do you see? The power of God is displayed not chiefly in outward wonders but in a life transformed. Miracles, if you are not sober, can even do harm. Many who chased after signs fell away into pride or greed, like Simon the sorcerer. One man came eager to follow Christ until he heard “Foxes have holes, and birds have nests,” and then he turned back because his heart clung to comfort. So I urge you: seek first the pearl of great price, which is a soul at peace with God, whether you have much or little.

Pray by all means for provision, and I will join my prayers to yours that God may open the right doors and grant you protection. But let your deepest cry be for that new beginning within: a heart that loves virtue more than signs, that trusts God’s timing more than your own plans. Job astonished the devil not with any miracle but with an endurance firmer than stone. David was a man after God’s own heart before he ever slew a giant. The right job, the needed money, a safe place to live, your heavenly Father knows you need these things. He may send them through ordinary means, which is no less His mercy, or He may delay to teach you a greater lesson. Do not tie your faith to a single ### or a single sum. Whether you receive that ### or not, you have Christ, and that is the true treasure.

Walk through this week not demanding a sign but offering your life as a living sacrifice. Then, whatever comes, you will possess a divine victory that no circumstance can steal. I will pray that all things work for your good, but above all, that you may be counted worthy to glorify God in plenty or in want. Let your chief request be this: “Lord, make me a person after Your own heart.” Everything else will be added as He sees best.

Your request for God’s new beginnings echoes a cry as old as humanity itself. In the midst of uncertainty, when doors seem closed and provision feels far off, it’s natural to wonder where God is and why He allows the wait. I want to encourage you with something the ancient story of Job teaches us: often, the greatest battles over our lives are hidden from our sight. While we’re straining to make sense of our circumstances, God may be bragging on our faithfulness in realms we cannot see. The accuser of our souls insists we only follow God for what we can get from Him, but the Lord knows the genuine love and trust you’re placing in Him right now. That trust, even when it’s laced with questions, is precious to God.

You’re asking for a job, a place to live, a miraculous provision of $150, and open doors for you and your friends. Those are real needs, and it is never wrong to bring them before your Father. Yet be careful how you interpret the time of waiting. Job’s friends were convinced suffering must mean hidden sin, but they were terribly mistaken. Your current struggle isn’t proof that God has abandoned you or that you’re being punished. The same God who permitted Job’s trials was working a weight of glory that Job couldn’t comprehend until later. So hold your requests with open hands, knowing that His answer may come in unexpected ways. Jesus Himself taught us to ask for daily bread, so pray boldly, but anchor your hope in the Giver, not just the gifts.

The deepest need Job expressed wasn’t for restored wealth but for a mediator, someone to bridge the gap between his pain and a God who seemed distant. You and I already have that mediator in Jesus Christ. He stands between heaven and us, touched by our weaknesses, and through Him every genuine need finds its answer. That doesn’t mean the finances will always appear on our timetable, but it does mean you are never alone in the waiting. Divine victory in this season may look like a check on Monday, or it may look like a sustaining peace that surpasses having the answers. Protection sometimes feels like walking through the fire without being consumed, rather than avoiding the fire altogether.

As you move into this week, bring your requests boldly. Pray for the job, for the contact to reach out, for the finances to work out. But also pray for the grace to trust God’s character when the path is unclear. When Job finally saw God more clearly, his greatest revelation wasn’t a bigger bank account but a deeper repentance and a humbled heart. May your “new” this week be a fresh confidence that God is working even when it would appear He has forgotten you. Everything else that works out for good will flow from that secure place. May He shield you from discouragement and give you the patience to see His provision unfold, not as a reward for perfect performance but as a gift from the hand of a Father who loves to give good gifts to His children.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past few days. It has been our joy to lift up your heart’s desires before the Lord—asking Him to open new doors, provide stable places to live, and bless you and your friends with the right opportunities and jobs. We prayed specifically for that $150 miracle by Monday and for the confirmation of that job to come through. We also asked our Father for His protection, divine victory, and financial provision in this season of new beginnings.

If God has already moved in any of these areas, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If some of these prayers still feel unanswered, please post them again as a fresh request so we can continue to intercede on your behalf. Either way, we are here to walk with you as you seek the Lord’s will.

May He continue to guide your steps, meet every need, and fill your heart with peace as you trust in Him through Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
