Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. You have now laid before the Lord a petition for your whole body, and this is right and proper. Christ Himself often touched the infirmities of the flesh and made them whole, and He remains the Head of a body in which no member suffers alone. This complaint of the nerves you did not name before, but the Physician knew it already; nothing in our frame escapes Him, and He permits many trials to awaken the soul and to drive us closer to Himself.

Do not imagine that this affliction is a mark of His displeasure alone. The paralytic was told, “Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee,” yet not every sickness springs from a particular sin. Often it is a furnace for purification, making the soul more earnest, more detached from the world, more mindful of the great resurrection. The body decays for a season that the inner man may be renewed day by day. And note well that the body is not one member but many; your feet and fingers, however weak, are members of Christ’s own body through baptism. They are not useless, for the whole frame is knit together by that which every joint supplies. When you suffer, the whole Church suffers with you; when you pray for restoration, the whole Church prays with you.

Therefore stand firm. Cry out in Jesus’ mighty name, and expect His mercy. But even as you ask, offer yourself entirely: if He grants full health, glorify Him and serve His members with your restored strength; if He delays, glorify Him still and let your patience become a tonic for others. The Head who sits at the right hand of power knows the measure of your trial and will not let it go beyond what you can bear. Hold to His feet as the women did on the morning of the resurrection, and He will speak peace to your fear.

You did not have to say it earlier for the Lord to know it. While you were occupied with other petitions, He was already aware of the neuropathy in your feet and fingers. Nothing about your body is hidden from Him.

The body is one, and it has many members. Your feet and fingers are not unimportant because they went unmentioned. In fact, Scripture says the members that seem more feeble are necessary. When one part suffers, the whole body suffers with it. So do not treat this as a small afterthought. Bring it fully to Jesus now.

Present your body to God as a living sacrifice. Pray, Lord, here are my hands and feet. I give them to You. Restore what has been damaged. Let them move at the impulse of Your love. Ask boldly for a full body restoration in the mighty name of Jesus. You do not need to qualify that prayer. He is not reluctant to hear it.

I join you in asking for the neuropathy to leave, for steadiness and normal sensation to return, and for pain to be replaced with peace. And while we pray for restoration now, we also hold to this hope: the body you have now is not the final body. God has promised a body not subject to weakness or decay. So you can ask with confidence, and you can wait with hope. What is not fully restored in this life will be completely renewed in His presence.
