She use to talk to me every now then. ask me how im doing. but to say i know her i cant. ive never got to know her. and i would like to. I would love to get to know her. But the chance has never came. She dont even know my name. but i know hers. and she has a beautiful name. again lord i dont know if i am wrong for this or not. please forgive me if i am. If it be your will i just long for her to notice me and talk to me. i want to talk to her. again lord forgive me if i am wrong for wanting that so badly. shes been on my mind alot latley and today when i seen her even thought she never noticed me and i dont know she didnt but even though she didnt just seen her i was so happy. Pleas forgive me if i am wrong. I long for her talk to me. in jesus name amen.

We hear the longing in your heart, and we want to come alongside you in prayer and encouragement. First, we want to affirm that it is not wrong to notice someone’s beauty or to desire companionship, God Himself said, "It is not good for the man to be alone" (Genesis 2:18). However, we must examine our hearts to ensure our desires align with His will and His Word.

You’ve shared that this young woman is on your mind often, and your feelings have grown deep, even though she barely knows you exist. While your intentions may be pure, we must gently ask: Are you placing your hope in the possibility of a relationship with her above your hope in Christ? Jesus warns us, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:21). If your joy and peace are tied to whether she notices you, it may be time to surrender this longing to the Lord and trust Him with your future.

We also want to encourage you to take steps of faith if you truly wish to get to know her. Pray for an opportunity to speak with her, not just for your sake, but so you can see if she might be someone God has prepared for you. Proverbs 19:21 reminds us, "There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail." If it is God’s will for you to pursue marriage with her, He will open the door in His timing. But if not, He has someone else in mind for you, someone who will share your faith and walk with you in Christ.

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this brother who longs for connection and companionship. Lord, we ask that You would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help him to find his joy and satisfaction in You alone, knowing that You are the ultimate source of love and fulfillment. Father, if it is Your will for him to pursue this young woman, we ask that You would open a door for conversation and friendship. Give him courage to step out in faith, and wisdom to discern Your leading. If this is not the path You have for him, we pray that You would ease his longing and redirect his heart toward the one You have prepared for him. Help him to trust in Your perfect timing and Your good plans. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, who alone gives us hope and purpose. Amen."

We also want to gently remind you that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed by God for mutual love, support, and the raising of godly offspring (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:22-33). If you do pursue a relationship with this young woman or anyone else, we encourage you to do so with the intention of marriage, and only with a fellow believer who shares your faith in Christ. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14).

In the meantime, focus on growing in your relationship with the Lord. Seek His face, serve in your church, and surround yourself with godly community. As you draw near to Him, He will guide your steps and prepare your heart for whatever He has in store. "Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). Trust that He knows what is best for you, and rest in His love.

We hear how much this has been on your heart and how nervous you felt seeing her walk by today. Wanting to be noticed by someone you admire, and feeling your heart race when she is near, is a very human experience, and we appreciate how carefully you are bringing it to Jesus and asking Him to guide you.

It makes sense you feel torn between hoping for a chance to talk and wondering if you should let the hope go. You have not done anything wrong by noticing her beauty or wishing you could know her as a person. What matters now is how you carry those feelings with respect for her and peace for yourself.

One simple next step that might ease some of the pressure is to keep it natural and unforced. Since she works with your brother, you could ask him if it would be appropriate sometime for a brief, friendly introduction when you are in the store, just a hello and your name, with no expectation beyond that. If she is open to conversation, you will have a chance to know her a little; if she is busy or not responsive, you can give her space and trust God with the rest. Talking with a trusted older friend or pastor about how you are processing this can also help you stay grounded.

Father, we lift this brother to You. You see his sincerity and his nervous heart. Give him peace, wisdom to act respectfully, and trust in Your good will for his life. Help him to know You are near and to rest in Your guidance day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is good and right that you have poured out your heart so openly before the Lord, and He hears the honest confession of a nervous and longing heart. You ask again and again if you are wrong to feel as you do, and you seek forgiveness. Hear then the comfort of the gospel, that if by faith you trust in the sin forgiving God and accept the matchless Atonement which covers all your guilt, your sin is no longer imputed to you and your faith is counted for righteousness through Jesus Christ. There is forgiveness with Him, and a heart that desires to be right before Him is precious in His sight.

To notice beauty and to desire to know in an honorable way a young woman whom you have seen is not in itself sin. The Lord has made us to love and to desire companionship, and love is the law of the gospel. Yet every desire must be brought into conformity with the will of God, for as surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, so His will must be the great heart of our own lives, sending its pulse through even our smallest acts. It is not wrong to pray as you have prayed, If it be your will, but that must be our settled prayer in all things, Father, thy will be done on earth even as it is in heaven.

You have built much in your thoughts upon a few glances, and you felt your heart leap when she passed by without noticing you. Do not let imagination become an idol, and do not let a crush harden into a discontent that robs you of peace. The miseries that come from our own anxious thoughts are often God's voice saying to us, wait and turn your heart more fully to Him. The Scripture says, Wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, wait, I say, on the Lord. Sometimes even to be passive in the hand of God will be our strength, and to stand still until the cloudy and fiery pillar moves before us will be our highest wisdom.

If you would know her, seek it in the right and open way that honors God and honors her. You mention she works with your brother. A simple and respectful introduction through your brother, a kind word, learning her name by being known yourself, is far better than longing from a distance and hoping to be noticed as a stranger. Let any conversation be pure, modest, and without pressure. If the Lord wills a friendship to grow, it will grow in the light, with patience and with respect. And if He wills otherwise, what will it matter whether your life seems cloudy or bright for a season, when your eternity is secure in Christ.

Therefore bring your desires to Him daily, but do not live only for this one hope. Seek first to have God's law written on your heart, which is love to the Lord your God with all your heart and love to your neighbor as yourself. Pray that He will keep your heart holy, that He will preserve you, and that He will make you content to do His will whether He grants this desire or gently withholds it. Such souls who learn to bring their minds into conformity with the will of God find their hearts at rest.

May the Lord give you a calm spirit, forgive your sins for Jesus sake, cleanse any guile from your heart, and teach you to trust His mercy, for it is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. May He guide your steps, guard your thoughts, and lead you in the path that is most for His glory and for your lasting good.

We will pray for you, that the Lord will strengthen you in this nervous waiting, that He will keep you pure in thought and deed, and that His perfect will, which is infinite and unchangeable love toward His people, may be done in your life.

Thank you for sharing so honestly what is on your heart. The nervousness and longing you describe are very human, and the fact that you keep bringing it to Jesus and asking Him to search you shows a tender and contrite spirit that God honors. He looks to the one who trembles at His word and comes humbly before Him.

It is not wrong in itself to notice beauty or to desire to get to know someone in a pure and honorable way. God created that kind of attraction with marriage in view, and the desire to know someone rightly is not sin. What God does call us to watch is how we carry that desire. He calls us to walk with all lowliness and meekness, and to think soberly with a mind kept safe and steady. That means treating her with respect as a person made in God's image, counting her as more important than yourself, and not letting even small thoughts of lust or fantasy take root. We are to keep ourselves pure, not having spot or wrinkle, and that includes guarding our thoughts when affection grows strong. Loving someone well also means being lowly toward all, not demanding attention, but being patient and gentle.

It is understandable to feel disappointed when she walked by without noticing you. That does not mean you have done something wrong, and it does not mean she has rejected you. She simply may not know you yet. If you do wish to get to know her, do so in a quiet, respectful and patient way. If your brother knows her through work, you could ask him whether a simple and proper introduction at an appropriate time would be welcome, and then let a brief, kind conversation be enough without pressing for more. Do not build your peace on whether she notices you, but on Christ. Keep bringing the thoughts that linger to Him, asking Him to keep your affection pure and free from obsession, and to guide you according to His will. If it is His will for you to know her more, He can open that door in His time. If not, He will give you grace to release it and keep your heart at rest.

Let us pray together. Lord Jesus, thank You for this brother and for his honest heart that wants to please You. Forgive any sin where he has fallen short in thought or motive, and wash him clean. Guard his mind and make him sober and lowly in spirit. Help him to honor You with his desires and to treat this young woman with purity, respect and kindness. If it is Your will, provide a natural and honorable way for them to meet and speak, and give him peace to trust Your timing and goodness either way. Draw him closer to Yourself above all, and let his hope rest in Your love. In Jesus name, amen.

Your honesty before the Lord is a good and right thing, and He hears a humble heart that wants to please Him. You have come to Him again and again saying forgive me if I am wrong, and that repeated prayer shows how heavy this feeling of guilt has become for you.

It helps to understand the difference between feeling guilty and actually being guilty before God. A sense of guilt can become a cycle in our hearts. We feel inadequate or frustrated, we try to escape that feeling, then we feel guilty for what we have thought or done, then we look for some kind of punishment to make us feel free again, and when the punishment is over we go back to frustration and start over. That cycle never brings peace because punishment by itself cannot clean the conscience. Only God can.

There is nothing wrong in itself with noticing that someone is beautiful and wishing you could get to know her in a respectful and pure way. Beauty is part of God's creation, and a desire for friendship and for a godly relationship that could lead to marriage is a natural desire He has placed in many hearts. What matters is what you do with that desire, whether you guard your thoughts, respect her as a person made in God's image, and bring your longings under the Lordship of Christ. Wanting her to notice you, thinking about her often, and feeling nervous or disappointed when she does not, are human experiences, but they do not by themselves mean you have sinned. If you have allowed your thoughts to become lustful or obsessive, then bring that specifically to the Lord and confess it.

This is where the gospel brings what nothing else can. Justice is getting what we deserve, mercy is not getting what we deserve, and forgiveness is what Jesus made possible when He took our sin and our guilt upon Himself on the cross. He paid the penalty fully so that anyone who trusts in Him can be completely forgiven and cleansed. No counselor or effort at self punishment can erase guilt the way His blood can.

David understood this after he tried to hide his sin. He wrote that his sin was ever before him and that he could not run from the weight of it. He thought he had covered his tracks, but God saw, and the heaviness remained until David stopped hiding and openly acknowledged his sin to God. Scripture says if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us. There is nothing in this world like coming to God in plain honesty, calling sin what He calls sin, and receiving His washing. When that heavy hand of guilt is lifted, relationship with God is restored and joy returns.

So bring this whole matter to Him simply and clearly. Tell Him your desire to know this young woman, ask Him to keep your heart pure, and ask Him to guide you according to His will. If it is His will for you to know her, He can open a respectful and natural way, perhaps through your brother or through normal conversation, with kindness and without pressure. If not, He can give you peace to release it and trust Him. Pray for her good, not only for your wish, and respect her boundaries. She does not know you yet, and that is not a rejection of you as a person. Do not follow or watch her in a way that would make her uncomfortable, but commit your hopes to the Lord and be willing to accept His answer.

You do not need to live under a cloud of forgive me if I am wrong. If you have sinned in thought or motive, confess it specifically and receive His forgiveness by faith. If you have not sinned but are simply carrying a tender and unfulfilled longing, give that longing to Him and rest in His mercy. He loves to instruct and guide those who look to Him, and He will lead you in the way you should go.

May the Lord lift this burden of uncertain guilt from you, fill you with His peace, and help you to walk in purity, patience, and trust as you wait on Him.

It’s really hard when your wife is committing adultery and you are trying to keep the family together and you are too old to start over and have nowhere to go and hoping God will make it stop but nothing happens. I just don’t know what to do. I would appreciate any prayers.
