Psalm 27:10Though my father and mother forsake (abandoned) me, the Lord/God will receive

Isaiah 49:15Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne

We join with you in lifting up this heavy burden before the Lord and we hear the deep ache in your heart for those who are suffering, for those who have been abandoned, and for the precious unborn who have been despised and destroyed.

Your prayer for the lonely, the forsaken wife and husband, the abandoned daughter and son, the children left alone without house or family or refuge, and for neighborhoods in disorder reflects the very heart of God who sees every sorrow. We agree with you that God is the defender of the vulnerable and the Father to those who have no family left.

The Lord says, When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up Psalm 27:10. And again, Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you Isaiah 49:15. We take comfort that even when parents, family, and friends abandon or betray, God does not abandon. He is a father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation God sets the lonely in families Psalm 68:5-6. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18, and He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.

We also join you in mourning for the unborn babies who die through abortion, miscarriage, and hatred from their own parents. We must speak clearly that every child in the womb is fearfully and wonderfully made by God, For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb Psalm 139:13. Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you Jeremiah 1:5. To take that innocent life is sin before God, for He commands You shall not murder Exodus 20:13 and He hates hands that shed innocent blood Proverbs 6:16-17. We rebuke the abortive spirit and the culture of death that treats children as disposable, and we rebuke the sabotage and extermination of generations, because God intends families to be fruitful and to endure, and children are a heritage of Yahweh Psalm 127:3. We pray that those who have participated in or approved of abortion will come to repentance, for God is merciful and will forgive when we confess and turn to Him.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because of Jesus that we can entrust every innocent, aborted, and miscarried child into God's care, believing that He receives them into heaven, for Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these Matthew 19:14.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You with broken hearts for every suffering and abandoned soul, for every lonely child, for every wife and husband and brother and sister who has been forsaken or betrayed, and for every family without house or refuge or shelter. Lord, be their refuge, be their family, be their shelter. Gather the lonely into Your household and provide for those who beg for safety and care. Heal the neighborhoods in disorder and cast out any spirit of witchcraft, sabotage, and abandonment that brings confusion and destruction.

Lord, we entrust to Your mercy every unborn baby who was hated, despised, or murdered. Forgive our land for the shedding of innocent blood. Receive these little ones into Your presence and comfort those mothers and fathers who mourn. Bring conviction and repentance to those who have rejected their own children, and turn hearts to cherish life as You do. Restore generations, Lord, that what the enemy meant for extermination You would redeem for life and peace, and let these little ones rest in peace in heaven with You.

We ask that You would bring godly marriages and families that honor You, where children are welcomed and protected and where abandonment is replaced by covenant love. Let Your will be done in each life that feels alone, that they would know You will never leave them nor forsake them Deuteronomy 31:6.

We ask all this in the merciful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We were moved reading your prayer and the weight you carry for so many who feel abandoned and alone, for families without shelter, and for unborn children. It is a tender and Christlike thing to bring others' sorrow before God, especially when the losses feel so many and so heavy at once.

Grief can look different for each person and each family, and when abandonment, broken relationships and the loss of little lives are layered together, it is understandable to feel overwhelmed and to long for a safe place of refuge for everyone. We hear the sense of disorder and heaviness you described in your neighborhood, and we join you in asking the Lord to be the steady shelter and comfort that only He can be.

If there is a specific family or neighbor near you right now without a home or support, it can be a gentle next step to walk alongside one trusted pastor or local outreach ministry who can help connect them to safe, practical help, while you continue to lift them in prayer. You do not have to carry all of this burden alone.

Father, we bring before You every child and every family mentioned here, every person who feels forsaken and every unborn life. Have mercy and show Your care, give comfort to those who grieve, provide refuge and faithful community where there is loneliness, and guard hearts in Your peace. We entrust each life to You and ask for Your wisdom and nearness in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard, and it is laid with sorrow and hope before the throne of grace. There is a great tenderness in the mercy of our God, and it is this tender mercy which you have rightly sought for those who suffer abandonment and for the innocent unborn.

The Scripture you have quoted is a true refuge. Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, Psalm 27:10. And again, Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne, Isaiah 49:15. Though the forsaking be real and the wound deep, whether it be wife forsaken by husband, or husband by wife, or children left alone without house or friend or shelter, the Lord does not forsake His own. His mercy goes before us. Before we call He hears us, before we are fit to receive His mercy, His mercy comes to us and seeks us out, even in the desert by the well, and calls us by name.

We join you in entrusting to that tender mercy all who are despised and abandoned, and all the little ones who are hated or rejected by father or mother. The Lord is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. His sword of justice sleeps in its sheath while His rod of mercy is outstretched. Every life is precious in His sight, and the shedding of innocent blood is a grievous sin before Him. Yet His mercy is gratis. He never sells, He always gives. The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses from all sin, and in one moment, when that blood is applied to the conscience, every sin is gone and the sinner stands before God as if he had never sinned.

For those little ones, aborted or miscarried, we ask the Lord in His sovereign compassion to receive them into His care and into heaven, for such is His tender nature toward the helpless. For those who have despised life, who have acted in hardness or despair, we pray not that God would bless the deed, but that He would grant repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone salvation is found. May His mercy turn their faces in the opposite direction, make them new creations, and give them new loves and new hates.

For those left without house or family or friend, we pray that they may find that Christ is the true City of Refuge. Wherever there are by roads and turnings, the sign still reads Refuge, Refuge, pointing the guilty and the forsaken to Him. He is gracious though we are guilty, and He will have mercy on all who repent and trust in the merits of His Son. Flee to Him now, for He knows your case and your circumstances and has come to call you to Himself.

Let us pray together. O God of tender mercy, look upon all who are lonely and cast out, upon children without shelter, upon families torn by betrayal and disorder, and upon every unborn child. Receive the forsaken, be Father to the fatherless, and shelter to those who have no refuge. Have mercy upon this land and forgive the sin of bloodshed, and turn hearts to love and cherish life as You do. Bring all who hope in Your mercy to find that hope sure through the wounds of Jesus, our only Refuge and Redeemer. Let Your mercy go before us and overtake us for good, and keep us until we dwell with You in peace. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your prayer for those who suffer abandonment and for the unborn has been heard, and we join you in lifting these sorrows before the Lord who sees and has compassion.

There is no life in this world that is free from sorrow. As you have described, one grieves for a wife, another for a husband, another for a son or daughter, another for a brother or sister or friend, another for the loss of home and shelter, and many grieve for children lost before birth. Each person feels his own grief most keenly, and the pain of being forsaken or left without refuge is very deep. Yet the Scripture you quoted is true and remains our comfort, that though father and mother forsake us, the Lord will receive us, and that even if a mother could forget the child at her breast, the Lord will not forget His own.

We pray with you now for all who feel abandoned and alone, for children without parents and parents without children, for families broken by betrayal or disorder, for those who have no house or shelter or friend to turn to, and for every mother and father who carries grief over a child lost through miscarriage or abortion. We entrust those innocent children to the mercy and care of God, asking Him in the name of Jesus Christ to receive them into His presence and to grant rest and peace to them in heaven. We ask Him also to have mercy on those who mourn, to forgive, to heal, and to bring comfort and restoration where there has been loss and violence.

In such seasons of temptation and grief, do not make haste to despair, but fortify your heart by striking your roots deep in what God has taught. Cleanse the heart from what is worldly and take the Scriptures to yourself as medicines for the soul. Keep the Gospels and the apostolic writings close, and dive into them as into a chest of medicines. When loss or death or bereavement comes, take comfort from them and keep them in your mind. The very tears and grief that come from love are not in vain before God, and He can turn mourning into a deeper and more lasting refreshment than fleeting joy.

May the Lord grant shelter to those without shelter, family to those without family, and refuge to those without refuge. May He show His compassion to every mother and father in distress, and may He guard the unborn and comfort all who weep for them. We ask for His mercy to cover what has been broken, for His grace to sustain you as you intercede for others, and for His peace to rest upon all who feel forsaken, that they may know they are received and remembered by Him.

We continue to pray with you in the mercy of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our hope.
