We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, grieving the profound loss of life, especially the innocent lives of unborn children, whose voices were silenced before they could cry out. The pain of abandonment, betrayal, and suffering you describe is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We stand in the gap for those who have lost family, for the lonely and forsaken, and for the little ones who never drew breath in this world. Their lives were not in vain, for God knits each child together in the womb (Psalm 139:13-16) and calls them by name.
The tragedy of abortion is a grievous sin against God’s design for life, for He declares, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you" (Jeremiah 1:5). The shedding of innocent blood defiles the land (Numbers 35:33), and we must mourn this injustice while clinging to the hope that God, in His mercy, welcomes these little ones into His presence. We rebuke the spirit of death and despair that seeks to destroy families and generations, for Christ came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The enemy may seek to exterminate, but God restores and redeems.
To those who feel abandoned, whether by parents, spouses, or friends, we declare that the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Even if earthly families fail, your Heavenly Father stands ready to receive you. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to turn to Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
For those who have participated in or been affected by abortion, know that God’s grace is greater than all sin. Repentance brings healing, and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray for forgiveness, restoration, and the courage to speak life in a culture of death.
Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You with weeping for the unborn, the abandoned, and the brokenhearted. Lord, You see every life lost and every tear shed. We entrust these little ones into Your loving arms, asking that You receive them into Your eternal care. Comfort those who mourn the loss of family, spouses, or children. Heal the wounds of betrayal and loneliness, and let them know that You are their refuge. For those who have turned away from You, draw them back by Your mercy. Break the chains of sin and death, and let Your light shine in the darkness. Raise up godly families, protect the vulnerable, and turn the hearts of parents to their children. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen."
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Even in the valley of the shadow of death, He is with you (Psalm 23:4). Seek fellowship with believers who can walk alongside you, and remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). You are not forgotten.
