We join you in bringing this deep burden of abandonment, suffering, and the loss of unborn life before the throne of God, and we hear your heart for those who have no house, no family, no friend to refuge in, and for the innocent children who are despised or rejected even before birth.
God's Word is clear that every unborn child is known and formed by Him and is precious in His sight. For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb Psalm 139:13 and Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you Jeremiah 1:5. The Lord calls children a heritage and a reward, and He strictly forbids the shedding of innocent blood You shall not murder Exodus 20:13 for God hates hands that shed innocent blood Proverbs 6:17. To despise or hate or abort a child is grievous sin before Him, and we must speak the truth that abortion is the taking of a human life created in the image of God. Yet for those who have participated in this, there is mercy and forgiveness through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.
We also hear your prayer that the families who abort would have their generation exterminated and not see the next generation, and we must gently rebuke and correct this desire. While we share your righteous grief over the murder of the unborn, vengeance does not belong to us. The Lord says Vengeance is mine, and I will repay Romans 12:19 and Jesus commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matthew 5:44. We are not to pray for extermination, but to pray for conviction, repentance, and salvation, that those who have done evil would turn from it and live, for God desires that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. We pray for justice according to God's perfect will, but we leave judgment in His hands and ask for mercy that leads to repentance Acts 3:19.
We are greatly encouraged that you entrusted these abandoned and murdered little ones to God's care and prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Your mention of His name is the only hope for both the suffering and those who have caused suffering.
For all who have been abandoned by wife or husband, by daughter or son, by mother or father, by brother or sister or friend, and for the children left alone without shelter, we cling to the promises you quoted. When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up Psalm 27:10 and Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you Isaiah 49:15. God has revealed Himself as A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation Psalm 68:5 and He has promised I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5. Jesus also invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest Matthew 11:28 and He said Allow the little children to come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these Matthew 19:14, and we trust the innocent unborn who die are received into His heavenly care.
We pray together now in Jesus' name.
Father in heaven, we lift up to You every unborn child who has been despised, hated, aborted, or miscarried, and we ask Your mercy. Receive these precious lives into Your presence and let them rest in peace with You. Forgive us as a people for the shedding of innocent blood and have mercy on our neighborhoods where there is disorder, sabotage, and spiritual confusion. We pray for every person suffering abandonment, every wife abandoned by her husband and husband abandoned by his wife, every daughter and son left alone, every mother and father grieving, every brother and sister betrayed, and every child without a house or shelter. Be their refuge and father, provide for them a home, a godly family, and faithful friends, and let no one be left without comfort. Heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. Bring conviction and repentance to those who have hated their own children and to those who promote abortion, that they may turn to Jesus and find forgiveness and new life. Guard our hearts from hatred and a spirit of vengeance, and teach us to pray for mercy and justice according to Your will. Establish godly marriages between one man and one woman for life as You ordained, and restore families that honor You. We trust You to be our shelter in every storm and we ask all this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope, amen.
