We join you in this heavy and sorrowful burden for the unborn, for the abandoned, and for families who have been broken and scattered, and we lift all of this together before the throne of grace in Jesus name.

We hear your cry for neighbors whose unborn babies have died, for children despised or hated by their own mother or father, for wives and husbands and sons and daughters and brothers and sisters who have been forsaken or betrayed, and for those who have no house, no family, and no refuge. The Lord sees this suffering and abandonment, and His heart is moved with compassion, for He is a God who defends the helpless and gathers the forsaken.

We affirm what Scripture teaches so clearly, that every unborn child is known and formed by God and precious in His sight. For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. Psalm 139:13 Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Jeremiah 1:5 Children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. Psalm 127:3 To take that innocent life through abortion is to shed innocent blood, which God hates. Proverbs 6:17 says He hates hands that shed innocent blood, and His command is clear, You shall not murder. Exodus 20:13 We must rebuke the abortive spirit and the culture of death that has led to the extermination of generations, where families die out and do not see the next generation, for this is not God's will but the work of sin and the enemy who comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

Yet we also cling to the mercy and sovereignty of God for these little ones. Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to me, and don't forbid them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. Matthew 19:14 We trust that these innocent, aborted and miscarried children are received into His care, for He is merciful and just, and nothing is hidden from Him.

For those who feel utterly alone and abandoned, we remember the promises you have quoted, and they are true. When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up. Psalm 27:10 Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Isaiah 49:15 God is also revealed as A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. Psalm 68:5 He has promised, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 Though people may abandon and betray, the Lord never will.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that mercy and forgiveness are found. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 For those who have participated in or approved of abortion, we pray for deep repentance and for the cleansing that comes only through the blood of Jesus, for He is faithful to forgive all who turn to Him in truth.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we ask for Your mercy to fall upon every unborn child who has been despised, rejected, and murdered, and upon every mother and father who has turned against their own offspring. Lord, receive these innocent lives into Your heavenly presence and let them rest in peace with You. We ask You to forgive this land and these families for the shedding of innocent blood, and to bring conviction and repentance where there has been hardness of heart. Father, we lift up every person who is suffering abandonment and loneliness, every wife forsaken by her husband, every husband forsaken by his wife, every son and daughter and brother and sister who has been betrayed or left alone, and every child who wanders without shelter or refuge. Be their refuge and shelter, be the family they do not have, and let them know they are not forgotten by You. Heal the neighborhood disorder and the broken environment, and raise up among us those who will be Your hands to provide shelter, comfort, and godly family to the lonely. For those whose family lines have been cut off and exterminated, Lord, have mercy and bring restoration and hope for a new generation that will walk in Your ways. Comfort all who mourn these losses and give them Your peace that surpasses understanding. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand as an intercessor for the fatherless and the unborn, to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, and to show the love of Christ by being a refuge where you can, remembering that pure religion is to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction. James 1:27 May the Lord strengthen you and keep you close to Him as you pray.

Thank you for bringing such a wide circle of pain before the Lord. We hear the weight you are carrying for neighbors, for children without a home, for families fractured by abandonment and betrayal, and especially for unborn babies who were not welcomed or protected.

It is a tender and Christlike thing to intercede for those who have no one else to speak for them. When so much loss piles up at once, death and broken homes and people without shelter, it can feel overwhelming and even lonely to be the one still praying. Please know your prayers matter, and God sees both the ones you are praying for and you as you pray.

If you or others nearby are without safe shelter or steady support, we encourage you to reach out to a local pastor or a trusted church family who can come alongside you in person, not just in prayer, to help find practical refuge and care. You do not have to carry all of this alone.

Father, we bring before You every child lost before birth and every person feeling abandoned and without refuge. Receive them in Your mercy, comfort those who grieve, and provide shelter, kindness and faithful community for the vulnerable. Give our friend strength and peace as they continue to intercede. The sorrow you have laid bare before the Lord is very great, and it touches the heart of every tender conscience. To hear of little ones despised before they draw breath, of families broken and scattered, of children and parents forsaking and forsaken, of homes lost and souls left without refuge, is to feel the weight of a fallen world where sin has wrought such havoc.

Yet the word of the Lord stands fast for such as you describe. Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne. Though she may forget, yet will not the Lord forget. You are not forgotten though you feel forsaken, and those who have no house, no family, no friend to refuge them, may yet find shelter under His wings. He shall cover you with His feathers and under His wings shall you trust. There is a safe shelter there, warm and sure, for the most destitute and the most despised.

We do not look to any other intercession nor to any other name, for there is one Mediator and one City of Refuge, and His name is Jesus Christ. He is the true refuge for the guilty and the shelter for the helpless. Sinner, this is the way, and whosoever flees to Him by faith shall be saved. Through His blood alone is forgiveness to be found, for no man comes unto the Father but by Him. In Him the abandoned soul finds adoption, so that though earthly ties be torn, we who are born into His family feel within us a cry of Father, Father, and know ourselves to be sons and daughters of the living God.

Concerning the little ones, those unborn who are hated or cast away, and those taken by miscarriage or by the cruel hand of man, we entrust them with tears to the mercy of God. He must not suffer one of these little ones to perish, for such is not the will of our Father who is in heaven. We ask the Lord in His infinite compassion to receive them into His own keeping. The grave makes a breach which seems wide, yet to faith it is only apparent and not real, for there is still one whole family in heaven and earth, not two families nor a divided family. Our heavenly Father is not bereaved as earthly fathers are, and those who are His are not lost to Him. Heaven is not far from us, for heaven is God fully enjoyed, and to be with Christ is heaven itself, whether here in the wilderness or there before the throne where the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne feeds them and leads them.

Let us pray.

O Lord God Almighty, Father of mercies, look in compassion upon all who suffer abandonment and upon every child without shelter. Remember those who weep for family members cut off, for generations that seem exterminated, for neighbors in disorder and for little ones alone. Stretch forth Thy hand to be their refuge and their home.

Have mercy, O Lord, upon the unborn. Forgive the shedding of innocent blood in this land and in our own hearts. Where life has been despised, show Thy power to create and to redeem. Receive, we beseech Thee, the innocent and helpless into Thy gracious care, and give us confidence that they are safe with Thee.

Visit with Thy healing every wife forsaken by her husband, every husband forsaken by his wife, every daughter and son left alone, every brother and sister betrayed by a friend. Let those who have no earthly refuge find in Christ a City of Refuge that shall shelter them forever. Restore what sin has broken, and teach us to walk in Thy holy way, holding fast to marriage as Thou hast ordained it, one man and one woman in lifelong covenant, and to purity of life within it, and to salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

Comfort Zion in her mourning, and let not any poor soul say Thou hast forsaken or forgotten. Let the present and perpetual renewal of love to Christ be heaven below, till Thou bringest Thine own to heaven above, where they shall see Jesus and be satisfied.

We ask all this not for our worthiness but through the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ our Lord, who loved us and gave Himself for us. Amen.
