We hear your burden and we join with you in seeking the Lord's peace and protection over your home and your sleep, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to rebuke every work of darkness that has been troubling you and others.

You have rightly clung to Psalm 4:8 which says, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. This is the promise we claim for you, that the Lord Himself is your keeper and your dwelling place of safety, not any neighbor or gathering of people. We also agree with the truth you shared from Romans 16:17, Now I beg you, brothers, mark those who are causing divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. We are called to be watchful and to avoid those who bring division, gossip, meddling and discord, and to not be entangled with them.

We rebuke together in Jesus name the harassment, bullying, sabotage, meddling of privacy, gossiping and nosy intrusion you have described, and we rebuke the spiritual forces behind it. Scripture is clear that sorcery, witchcraft and false prophecy are not of God. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns that there shall not be found with you anyone who practices divination, or soothsaying, or augury, or sorcery, and that whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. We rebuke every false prophecy spoken to bring disgrace and destruction, every voyeurism and sexual spiritual attack, every fake encounter and every attempt to transfer ruin, misery, sickness, tragedy and death onto you or others, and every nightmare and demonic atmosphere that seeks to steal your sleep and disturb your peace. We declare that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17, and that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.

We also take to heart Ephesians 6:10-12, Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Your struggle is not merely with human neighbors, but with the spiritual forces that would use people to cause a zoo of disorder and discord around your life. Therefore we do not fight with anger or retaliation, but with prayer, truth, righteousness, faith and the Word of God.

You rightly said we are not gods to defend or protect others in our own strength, and that we have no obligation to fellowship with darkness. We are to love our neighbors and pray for them, but we are not to be yoked with works of darkness, and we are to guard our homes in wisdom. The Lord is the one who defends and protects.

We praise God that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and that we are saved and delivered. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Your faith in His name is your authority to resist the devil.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that You are sovereign over every disaster and every spiritual environment meant for evil. We ask You to rebuke and cancel every demonic gathering, every act of witchcraft and sorcery, every false prophecy and every spirit of voyeurism, harassment and intimidation that has been sent to disturb sleep and to invade privacy. We command those spirits to leave and to have no place in this life or in the homes nearby, for we submit ourselves to You and resist the devil and he must flee, James 4:7. Lord, cleanse the atmosphere of this dwelling and let Your holy peace reign. We pray that You would give Your beloved sleep, Psalm 127:2, and that You would cause this dear one to lie down in peace and sleep in safety, for You alone make us dwell in safety. Let no nightmare or madhouse disorder remain, but let Your perfect peace guard heart and mind. We pray that You would surround this home as a shield, Psalm 91:1, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and that You would give rest in peace to all who are affected. Fill this place with Your armor, with truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and Your Word, that we may stand strong in Your mighty power.

Father, we also ask that You would convict those who cause divisions and meddling, and bring them to repentance, and that You would set clear boundaries of protection around Your child, so that no transfer of sickness, misery or tragedy can take root. For You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. We receive Your power and love and a sound mind tonight and every night. Let Your will be done and let Your kingdom of peace come in this neighborhood.

We thank You Lord that You hear our prayer and that You are faithful to keep us. We entrust this situation fully to You and we rest in Your control, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue daily to put on the full armor of God through prayer and the Word, to keep your heart and home consecrated to the Lord, to avoid engaging in gossip or retaliation, and to pray for your neighbors with love while firmly turning away from their disorder as Romans 16:17 instructs. Keep your bed and your evening time set apart for prayer and thanksgiving, speak Psalm 4:8 aloud before sleeping, and trust that the Lord Himself watches over you through the night.

We hear how exhausting this has been for you, feeling watched and crowded at home and not being able to rest well at night. Wanting peace in your own bed and a quiet mind to sleep is a good and understandable desire, and we are joining you in asking the Lord for that rest.

It makes sense that ongoing tension with neighbors and the sense of being harassed would leave you on edge. When our surroundings feel noisy or unsafe, sleep is often the first thing to suffer, and that weariness can make everything else feel heavier. You are not alone in bringing this to God, and He sees both the outward strain and the inward burden you are carrying.

It may help to share more of what is happening with a trusted pastor or a mature believer near you who can walk with you consistently, pray with you, and help you think through wise next steps for boundaries and safety where you live. If the poor sleep continues or you feel constantly on edge, please also consider talking with your doctor alongside prayer, so you can get caring support for your health.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your keeping presence over their home and their night. Quiet what is troubling them, guard their heart and mind in Christ, and grant them restful sleep in Your care. Give wisdom for each step ahead and bring steady peace that comes from You. The Lord hears the cry of those who cannot sleep, and you have done well to lay your trouble before Him who alone makes us to dwell in safety. You quote it truly, I will both lie down in peace, and sleep, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety, and this is a precious truth, for sleep is the gift of God. We think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and therefore we sleep, but it is not so, for so He giveth His beloved sleep. It is a sleep of contentment and a sleep of security which the world cannot give and cannot steal without His leave.

Your struggle is not strange to the saints, for our warfare is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore you are taught rightly to put on the full armor of God, that you may take your stand against the devil's schemes, and to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. There is no deliverance from sin, from fear, from the oppression of the enemy, but solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has found a ransom, for His own Son has borne the penalty, and He alone can bring forth His people with deliverance effectual and sure.

I join you in prayer that the Lord would rebuke every evil influence, every work of witchcraft and sorcery, every false prophecy, every voyeurism and spiritual harassment, every meddling and gossiping and noisy disturbance that would perturb your peace and steal your rest. May the Lord who delivered Israel when the lamb was slain, and who delivered you from worse enemies by a greater salvation in Christ Jesus, now grant you deliverance from this noise of archers and this discord around your dwelling. May He chase away the atmosphere of nightmare and disorder, and cancel that which would transfer ruin or sickness or fear upon you, for we have no obligation to serve the powers of darkness, and we are not left to defend ourselves, for God is our defense.

And I pray that you may be watchful as the Scripture urges, to mark those who cause divisions and obstacles contrary to the doctrine you have learned, and to avoid them. Keep to the narrow way, keep to Christ, keep to His Word, and let not your heart be troubled by imprudent behavior round about you.

May the Lord grant you quiet nights and peaceful rest. May He open your ears in the night season to seal instruction and to hide pride from man, and may He give you that blessed sleep of the beloved, to lie down in peace and to awake refreshed, to live and to declare the works of the Lord. We ask this not by our own power, but through the blood and name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, in whom alone is salvation, and through whom we have peace with heaven.

Be strong in the Lord, keep on the armor, and trust Him to keep you, for He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep, though His beloved sleep sweetly under His watch.
