We hear your cry for peace and rest and we join with you together in the powerful name of Jesus Christ to seek the Lord for your sleep and for deliverance from this oppressive and disturbing environment around you.

You have rightly clung to Psalm 4:8, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. We stand on that promise with you, that true sleep and safety do not come from quiet neighbors or ideal circumstances but from the Lord Himself who watches over you. We also agree with the word in Romans 16:17, Now I beg you, brothers, mark those who are causing divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. We affirm your desire to turn away from and avoid those who bring division, meddling, gossip, bullying and discord into your life and the lives of others.

We rebuke together in Jesus name every work of witchcraft and sorcery and every demonic atmosphere that seeks to harass, intimidate and steal your peace. The Scripture is clear that such practices are an abomination before God, as it is written in Deuteronomy 18:10, There shall not be found with you anyone who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer. We have no obligation to entertain or to fear human agents of darkness, for our struggle is not ultimately against flesh and blood. As you quoted in Ephesians 6:10, Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Ephesians 6:11, Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:12, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We take our stand in that armor now.

We specifically rebuke the spirits of voyeurism, sexual perversion, spiritual invasion of privacy, nightmare, fear and confusion that have tried to transfer ruin, misery, sickness and death and to make your dwelling place feel like a madhouse of disorder and discord. We declare that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as it says in 2 Timothy 1:7, and we resist the devil knowing he must flee when we submit to God, for James 4:7 says, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We declare with confidence in 1 John 4:4, You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. The Lord Jesus is greater than any gathering, any sabotage, any bullying, any nosy and imprudent meddling, and any false prophetic word spoken over you.

We thank you that you have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and have authority. As it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We remain in that name and in His power alone.

Together we pray. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is weary from harassment and broken sleep. Lord, You see the gatherings, the noise, the gossip, the bullying on the road and the spiritual heaviness that has made the home and the neighborhood feel like a place of disorder. We ask You to forgive us where we have feared man more than we have trusted You, and we ask You to cover this home with the blood of Jesus. We rebuke every demonic assignment, every spirit of witchcraft, sorcery, voyeurism and nightmare, and every attempt to transfer sickness, tragedy and unrest, and we command it to leave and not return in Jesus name. We ask You to cancel every false encounter and every word of ruin spoken and to let Your peace guard this heart and mind. Lord, make this bed and this dwelling a place of safety and rest. Let Your holy angels encamp around this place as You promise in Psalm 91:1, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Grant deep, uninterrupted, peaceful sleep tonight and in the nights to come, and let this one lie down in peace and sleep, for You alone make us dwell in safety. We pray also for the neighbors and for all who cause trouble, that You would convict them, draw them to repentance and to the knowledge of Jesus, and that You would teach us to live peaceably as far as it depends on us according to Romans 12:18. Fill this life with Your rest, Your power and Your quietness, and let it be known that You are in control of this environment. We trust You to defend and to protect, for we are not our own defenders, You are. We pray all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to put on the whole armor of God daily through prayer, through the Word, through faith and righteousness in Christ, and to guard your heart before sleep with worship and with Scripture. Do not engage with the gossip or return evil for evil, but commit your cause to the Lord who judges righteously. Keep your dwelling consecrated to the Lord, pray aloud over your bed and your home in Jesus name, and trust that the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps is keeping watch over you. He will give His beloved sleep and He will keep you in perfect peace as you keep your mind stayed on Him.

We hear how exhausting this season has been for you, when home does not feel peaceful and sleep has become so difficult. It makes sense that you feel on edge and worn down when nights are broken and the environment around you feels intrusive and unsettled.

We want to gently remind you that God cares about your rest. Sleep is not separate from your walk with Him, it is part of how He made us to be restored, and He understands how deeply being without it affects your spirit and body. You are safe in His care even when your surroundings feel chaotic, and He remains steady and in control when you feel overwhelmed.

One small step that has helped others in a similar place is to build a simple, calming rhythm before bed that signals safety to your heart and mind. That might be turning off noise and screens for a little while, keeping the room quiet and dark, praying briefly and then letting a familiar hymn or quiet worship play as you lie down. If the broken sleep continues or you feel very anxious, we also encourage you to talk with a trusted pastor and to check in with your doctor alongside prayer, just to care well for your health.

Father, we lift our friend to You tonight. Quiet what is stirring and guard their home and heart with Your peace. Grant deep, steady rest and wisdom for each next step with neighbors and help them to know they are held secure in You. In Jesus' name, amen.

There is a precious truth in that verse you have laid hold upon, for it is the Lord alone who makes His people to dwell in safety, and therefore you may both lie down in peace and sleep. Sleep is the gift of God. We think that we lay our heads upon our pillows and therefore we naturally sleep, but it is not so. So He giveth His beloved sleep, and that sleep is a sleep of contentment and a sleep of security, for He keeps watch over His own.

You have rightly discerned that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore you are taught in Ephesians to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and to put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. Darkness has a sedative influence and they that are under the power of darkness sleep the sleep of spiritual death, but you who are of the day are to be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love.

We join with you in prayer that the Lord would rebuke every evil influence, every work of witchcraft and sorcery, every spirit of voyeurism and meddling and discord that would disturb your peace and steal your rest, and every gathering that brings sabotage and bullying and gossip. The Scripture urges believers to be watchful of those who cause divisions and obstacles contrary to the teaching of the faith, and to avoid them, and we pray that the Lord will give you wisdom to keep that watch, to turn away from what is imprudent and nosy and disturbing, and to dwell quietly under His wing.

Remember also that deliverance is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has found a ransom, for His own Son has borne the penalty, and He brings forth His people with effectual deliverance. As Deborah sang of deliverance from the noise of archers, so we have a greater salvation in Christ, who delivers us from worse enemies. He that delivered you in times past will deliver you still, and you shall have to say, I stayed at the brook in fear and trembling, but the Lord brought me through in peace.

We pray now for you and for others who are troubled by this environment of disorder.

O Lord our God, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we ask Thee to rebuke what is evil and unholy and to command peace over this dwelling. Thou who givest Thy beloved sleep, grant rest that is quiet and safe. Let Thy presence keep watch through the night, that Thy child may lie down in peace and sleep, for Thou alone makest to dwell in safety. Clothe Thy servant with the armor of truth and righteousness and faith, and deliver from the power of darkness. Turn away the spirit of discord and meddling, and let no transfer of ruin or sickness or fear have power where Christ is trusted. Bring enrichment out of trial, and let this troubled place know Thy stillness. Keep the heart and mind in perfect peace, for the mind is stayed on Thee.

May the Lord cause you to know that you sleep in Jesus, kept in union with Him whom death itself cannot dissolve, and may He give you nights of refreshment to fit you for fresh service when you awake. Let us not sleep as do others in carelessness toward eternal things, but let us watch and be sober, and rest in the security which Christ alone can give.
