We join with you in this burden for the unborn and for all who suffer abandonment and we hear the deep grief in your prayer for neighbors, for families broken, for children left alone, and for generations cut off before they could live.

We affirm what Scripture teaches so clearly, that every unborn child is known and formed by God and precious in His sight. For you formed my inward parts. You knitted me together in my mother's womb. Psalm 139:13 and Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Jeremiah 1:5 The taking of innocent life through abortion is a grave sin before God, for His command is You shall not murder. Exodus 20:13 To despise or hate a child in the womb, to abandon or exterminate a generation, brings judgment, and we must speak the truth that this is murder in the eyes of God. Yet we also cling to His mercy, for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 There is forgiveness and cleansing for all who repent and turn to Jesus Christ.

We also lift up every abandoned one you mentioned, the wife forsaken by her husband, the husband forsaken by his wife, the daughter and son left alone, the brother and sister betrayed, the homeless and the beggar with no house or refuge, and the neighborhoods in disorder and spiritual darkness. The Lord sees each one. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18 He is A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. Psalm 68:5 You quoted Psalm 27:10 so beautifully, When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up. Psalm 27:10 and we hold to that promise with you, along with Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Isaiah 49:15 Even when parents, family, and friends forsake, God does not forget and He will receive those who are abandoned.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and that mercy is found. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 We entrust every miscarried and aborted child into His care, trusting that the Lord who is full of compassion receives the innocent into His presence, and we pray that those who have participated in or been wounded by abortion would come to repentance and find His healing and forgiveness.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we ask for Your mercy to cover this great sorrow. Lord, receive every unborn baby who was despised, hated, aborted, or miscarried into Your eternal care and let them rest in peace with You in heaven. Forgive the shedding of innocent blood in our families and neighborhoods and in ancient generations, and bring conviction and repentance where there has been hardness of heart. Heal the mothers and fathers who suffer guilt and grief, and turn hearts to cherish life as You do. For every wife, husband, daughter, son, brother, sister, and child who has been abandoned, betrayed, or left alone without house or refuge, we ask You to be their shelter and their family. Draw near to the brokenhearted, provide homes for the homeless, friends for the lonely, and deliver neighborhoods from disorder and every bewitched and oppressive spirit by the power of Jesus. Let Your church rise up to defend the fatherless and to love those no one else will receive. We ask that You would restore generations and give hope for the next generation to live for You. We trust Your promise that You will never forget us. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in the gap for the unborn and the abandoned, to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, and to show the love of Christ by offering practical help, shelter, and the hope of the gospel to those who feel forsaken. Thank you for pouring out your heart here. We hear how heavy this is, the grief for unborn babies nearby and far away, for families and children who feel abandoned and without a place of refuge, and for whole neighborhoods carrying loss and disorder. It is a lot to hold at once, and we are grateful you brought it to Jesus.

Grief over real losses like the death of a child, the breaking of a family, or having no safe home cuts deeply, and it can also stir up fears about what might happen next. Each person carries that sorrow differently, and there is no single way it should look. What you are doing in entrusting these little ones and these lonely ones to God's mercy and care is tender and right. He sees every child and every person who feels forsaken, and He draws near to those who feel alone.

If this burden feels heavy to carry by yourself, we encourage you to share it with one trusted pastor or mature believer near you this week, someone who can pray with you in person and help you know what practical support for shelter or care might be available locally for you or your neighbors.

Father, we bring before You every child lost before birth and every person feeling abandoned and without refuge. We ask for Your mercy, Your comfort, and Your protection over them. Receive the little ones into Your care and bring peace and provision to those who are alone and grieving. Give our friend rest as they keep praying, and show them Your nearness day by day. Your prayer concerning those who suffer abandonment and the loss of children, both born and unborn, has been heard, and it is right that such sorrow should be poured out before the Lord.

There is a grief that cuts very deep when a mother or a father forsakes, when a husband or a wife is left alone, when children are left without shelter or refuge, and when the little ones perish before they see the light. Scripture itself gives voice to this wound, Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, and again, Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne. Though she may forget, I will not forget you. The Lord looks upon things as they are, not as they appear, and He sees every hidden sorrow, every unborn life despised or cast away, and every lonely heart that wanders without a house to shelter it.

For such wounds there is but one healing. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself knew what it was to be forsaken. Upon the cross He cried, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me. He was forsaken in our place, bearing the separation which sin brings, so that those who flee to Him might never be forsaken. The approving face of the Judge was turned from Him when He stood as the sacrifice for sin, that the same face might be turned toward all who trust in Him. Because He was forsaken, you need not be. Because He died, the broken in heart may be healed, for He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. No human comfort, no shelter of stone or counsel of man can do this work apart from the Holy Spirit, but immediate dealings with God through Christ bring true balm to the troubled bosom.

Therefore we will pray with you and for you.

We entrust to the mercy of God all innocent children who have died before birth, whether through miscarriage or by the hand of man, asking that according to His infinite compassion and justice He will receive them and deal with them in righteousness and love, for His mercy is great and His judgments are true. We pray for every mother and father who bears guilt or grief over such loss, that God would grant repentance where it is needed, and healing where there is wounding, and that they may find forgiveness and peace only through the blood of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

We pray for all who are abandoned and alone, for wives forsaken by husbands and husbands by wives, for sons and daughters and brothers and sisters and friends betrayed or forgotten, for children wandering without home, and for every neighborhood disordered by strife and by that spirit which despises life. May the Lord be their refuge. As the cities of refuge were appointed for those pursued by the avenger, so Christ is the refuge for the guilty and the shelter for the helpless. May those without house or family or friend to receive them flee to Him and find in Him a home that cannot be taken away.

May the Lord grant you comfort in this intercession, and may He who prepares a place for His people prepare your heart also to rest upon His providence. We ask Him to turn sorrow into hope, to give shelter to the shelterless, bread to the hungry, and above all to give the new heart which alone can abide the fire of His examination. May He keep you from false hopes and bring you to that true healing which is the work of God alone.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing this great burden of sorrow before the Lord. There is much grief in what you have described, the loss of unborn children, the pain of abandonment by father and mother, by husband and wife, by children and friends, and the loneliness of those who have no house or refuge or shelter. We weep with you over every life that is despised or cut off before birth, and over every family that is broken and scattered.

The Scriptures you quoted are true comfort in such darkness. Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, Psalm 27:10. And can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne, Isaiah 49:15. Even when human love fails, the compassion of God does not fail. He sees the abandoned and the alone, He sees the unborn, and His mercy is greater than our sin and our sorrow.

We pray now in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone there is salvation, for His mercy to be poured out. We entrust all innocent children who have died through abortion or miscarriage to the care of God, asking Him in His mercy and justice to receive them into His presence. We ask Him to forgive where there has been the taking of innocent life, and to bring repentance and healing where there has been hatred or rejection of a child by mother or father. We pray for those who suffer under a spirit of abandonment, for children left alone, for wives and husbands forsaken, for brothers and sisters betrayed, for neighbors living in disorder and confusion, that God would deliver from every evil influence and bring peace.

We also pray that God would provide refuge for those without shelter, and that He would restore families according to His good design, where marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and where life is cherished within it. May He raise up among you a community of faithful people to offer practical help, shelter, and friendship, so that no one is left without support.

In seasons of temptation and grief do not make haste to despair. Take the oracles of God as medicine for the soul. Dive into the Gospels and the Psalms as into a chest of medicines, and keep them in your mind, for there you will find comfort for loss and for bereavement. The grief of love is bitter in itself, yet God can make it a path to deeper trust in Him as we strike our roots deep in His instruction and are cleansed from worldly things.

May the Lord receive your prayers, grant rest to those who have died, comfort to those who mourn, shelter to those who are homeless, and mercy to all through Jesus Christ our Lord.
