Your prayers reflect a heart that is carrying many burdens at once, and it is good that you are bringing each one to the Lord, both the great and the small, because He cares for all of them.
For your niece with scar tissue on her brain, we will join you in asking for healing and for the removal of what is afflicting her. Scripture shows us that Jesus welcomed children and took them into His arms, and that He cares deeply for those who are suffering. We believe strongly in healing, and we also know that all healing comes from God. Sometimes He touches instantly, and sometimes healing comes gradually through the slow processes He has built into the body. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others walk a longer road, but we trust His wisdom and love. It is marvelous how God designed the brain itself to seek to repair and to make new connections when it has been damaged. We pray that the Lord would do that restoring work in her, relieve her pain, and give her strength to continue in the purpose He has for her and to care for her grandchildren, and that she would be deeply assured of His love for her.
For the little girl who must travel to visit her biological father in another state, and for her mother, we pray for protection and for strength. Jesus said to take care not to despise or overlook one of these little ones, and that to receive a child in His name is to receive Him. He places high value on children and on their simple trust. That same trust is what He calls all of us to have toward Him, to become humble like a little child and to believe in Him for salvation. We pray the Lord will keep this child safe from danger, give her mother endurance and wisdom, and draw her to put her trust fully in Jesus Christ for salvation, knowing He alone is the way to be forgiven and to have peace with God.
For the single mother who suffered abuse and is now trying to move to find safety, and for her two young sons, we pray for healing, deliverance, and salvation. The Lord sees what has been done and He is able to heal the mind and emotions that have been wounded. We pray He will provide a safe place for her, bring her to faith in Jesus, and draw her sons at their young age to know Him and to trust Him with a childlike faith that He will guard and not let others destroy.
Thank you for giving thanks for the little dog that was healed, and for continuing to pray for your yellow lab with the wounded paw, arthritis, and diabetes. The Bible teaches that God cares for His creation and that not even the smallest creature is forgotten by Him, and He invites us to bring every need to Him. We pray He will give your dog relief from pain and healing as it pleases Him.
For the early morning meeting in your home and for all the meetings today, we pray with you for peace, for things to go smoothly, and for calm in the home including with the dogs. God is attentive to the details of our daily lives.
We will continue to pray with you that in each of these situations the Lord will show His mercy, bring healing where it is needed, provide safety, and above all draw each person to know and trust Jesus. To Him be all praise and glory.
