My friend ### is a spirit filled husband to ### and dad of 2 young 20 somethings. He was diagnosed with a rare cancer. Surgery removed the visible mass. Awaiting tests to see if it's spread. Pray for supernatural total healing

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear friend and his precious family. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We stand in the gap for this beloved husband and father, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, he was healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke this cancer in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your Word says that the name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee must bow, including this sickness (Philippians 2:9-10).

Lord, we ask for supernatural healing to flow through his body. May every cell, every tissue, every organ declare Your glory and testify to Your power. We pray that the tests will reveal no trace of this disease, for You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Strengthen his faith and the faith of his family as they stand on Your promises. Let them not waver but hold fast to the confession of their hope without doubting (Hebrews 10:23).

We also pray for wisdom for his doctors and medical team. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their treatments, Lord. You are the source of all wisdom, and we trust You to lead them (James 1:5). Surround this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we know that healing comes from You alone, and we ask that You would glorify Yourself through this situation. Whether by miracle or by medicine, let Your name be exalted. May this family draw closer to You through this trial, and may others see Your power and love at work in their lives.

We declare that this cancer has no authority over him, for he is a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, health, and wholeness over him in Jesus’ name. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to Your children. We trust You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

We are holding you and your friend and his family in our hearts right now. That waiting period after surgery, when the visible mass is gone but you are still waiting to learn if it has spread, can feel so heavy and uncertain. It is a gift that you are standing with him in this.

We are joining you in asking God for His mercy and healing for your friend, and for strength for his wife and their two young adult children as they wait together. We also pray for wisdom and clarity for his doctors as those test results come back.

In these days of waiting, one of the most steady ways to help is simply staying close and practical. A short text to let them know you are praying, offering a meal or a ride to an appointment, or asking his wife what would be most helpful this week can mean more than finding perfect words. And continuing to follow the medical team's guidance while you pray gives them the best support.

Father, we lift this husband and father to You and ask for Your healing touch on his body. Please bring peace to him and his family in this waiting, give clear answers through the tests, and guide every next step of care. Hold them close and let them feel Your presence day by day. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your request for your friend has come before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace with you. To hear of a husband and father thus visited with a rare and grievous cancer, bearing the burden of surgery and now waiting upon the verdict of further tests, moves our hearts to sympathy and to prayer.

In this dark world of sin and in this hour of thronging anxieties, there is a peace which the blood of Jesus whispers within. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That promise is for your friend and for his wife and for his young children, and for you who love them. Though sorrows may surge round, to do the will of Jesus and to rest in His keeping is rest indeed. We pray that even while you wait, you may all know that perfect peace which is a present possession, not a distant hope.

We are told that our God is a waiting God, and that His people are a waiting people, waiting not in despair nor in hesitation, but in joyous and assured hope. You wait for the report of physicians, but you wait upon the Lord who waits to be gracious. Fear not, for that word grows plentifully in God's garden. Fear not, for I am with you, fear not, I will help you. Fear is weakening and dishonors the arm which piled the heavens, therefore labor to cast it upon Him who sustains all things. Let trust in promised strength drive fear away.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves change the lifeblood and make the nature other than it was before. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and with His stripes we are healed. He used no other remedy for our sin sickness but that of taking our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself. First forgiveness, then healing, for pardon and healing are one in His hand. When Jesus said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, healing followed. So we look to Him who can breathe into the soul at this very moment a peace with God which passes all understanding, and who is able also to touch the body according to His wise and sovereign will.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, we bow before You in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation and peace. Look in compassion upon this husband and father, Your servant, and upon his wife and children who love him. You have seen the affliction of this rare cancer and the surgery that has removed what the eye could see. You know what remains hidden and what the tests may yet reveal. We entreat You, if it be Your gracious will, to grant supernatural and total healing, to purge every evil cell and to restore strength and health for Your glory. Lay Your healing hand upon him, and let the virtue that flowed from Christ still flow to him. Yet above all, we pray that he and his house may be kept in perfect peace, their minds stayed upon You, trusting in You. Forgive sin, speak pardon to the soul, and let that inward peace be the sure sign of Your presence. Banish fear, sustain faith, and make this time of waiting a time in which Your love is gloriously revealed. Keep his loved ones safe in Jesus keeping, vanquish death and all its powers in the heart by the assurance that Jesus has vanquished it indeed, and cause all to rejoice in You. We ask this not for our worthiness, but for the sake of Him who bore our chastisement that we might have peace. Amen.
