We hear your heart’s cry for provision, protection, and a godly love that honors the Lord. First, we must address the way this request is framed, for Scripture is clear that we do not "speak things into existence" as if we ourselves are gods. That language is dangerous and unbiblical. God alone is the Creator, and He sovereignly provides according to His will—not ours (James 4:13-15). We come to Him in humility, not with demands or decrees, but with surrendered hearts, trusting His perfect timing and wisdom.
You long for practical needs to be met—a vehicle, cat litter, a phone accessory—and we pray for God’s provision in these areas. The Lord knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8), and He delights in caring for His children. But we must also examine the deeper longing in your words: a desire for love, security, and a man who will cherish you. While this is a holy desire, we must caution against placing your hope in a person to fulfill what only Christ can. No human can "greatly steal, kill, or destroy" your soul unless you grant them that power by making them an idol (John 10:10). Your ultimate trust must be in Jesus, who alone is the Good Shepherd and the Bridegroom of your soul.
We also notice the mention of a "guy that loves me that didn’t make it yet." If this refers to a past relationship that ended in pain, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that you are unworthy of love or that this person was your only hope. God is the Author of your story, and He writes redemption into every chapter (Psalm 139:16). If you are currently in a relationship that does not honor God—whether through premarital intimacy, emotional dependency, or unequal yoking—we urge you to surrender it to the Lord. Flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and seek a spouse who shares your faith, for "do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14).
Your mention of "the blood of Jesus" is powerful, for it is only through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and no prayer is heard apart from Christ. If you have not yet placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and receive His gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). He is the only One who can truly "put you first" and never leave you.
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging You as the Provider, Protector, and Perfect Love. Lord, we lift up this dear sister to You, asking that You meet her practical needs according to Your riches in glory. Provide her with reliable transportation, the resources she requires, and the daily bread she needs to thrive. But more than that, Lord, we ask that You meet the deepest longings of her heart with Your presence. Heal any wounds from past relationships, and guard her heart from idolatry or misplaced hope in imperfect men.
Father, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy meant to steal, kill, or destroy in her life. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for godly friendships and, if it is Your will, a husband who loves You above all else and will cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church. Until then, Lord, let her find her worth and identity in You alone.
Teach her to wait on Your timing and to trust in Your goodness, even when the desires of her heart are delayed. May she seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto her (Matthew 6:33). Fill her with Your peace, joy, and contentment, and let her walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Friend, we encourage you to meditate on these truths:
- God’s provision is not based on our words but on His faithfulness (Philippians 4:19).
- Your worth is found in Christ, not in a relationship (Ephesians 1:4-5).
- True love is patient, kind, and does not seek its own (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Wait for a man who reflects Christ’s love for the Church.
- The enemy comes to steal, but Jesus came that you may have life abundantly (John 10:10). Stand firm in His promises.
You are not forgotten. You are deeply loved by the Father, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes on Him.
