Your happiness must not be rooted in temporal things like a cooking show, financial gain, or even a well-kept home, but in the eternal hope we have in Him.
We rejoice with you in your passion for cooking and creating, and we pray that if it is God’s will, He would open doors for you to use these gifts to glorify Him and provide for your needs. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). If this venture aligns with His purpose for your life, we ask that He would grant you favor, wisdom, and the resources needed to bring it to fruition. May your work be a testimony of His goodness, and may you steward your talents faithfully, remembering that all good things come from Him.
Yet we must also address the urgency in your request for material help—new appliances, home repairs, and financial assistance. While it is not wrong to ask God for these things, we encourage you to examine your heart. Are these requests rooted in trust in His provision, or are they driven by anxiety or a desire for control? *"Take therefore no thought for tomorrow, for tomorrow will take thought for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."* (Matthew 6:34, WEB). We pray that the Lord would meet your physical needs according to His riches in glory, but even more, that He would fill you with contentment in every circumstance. *"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that."* (1 Timothy 6:6-8, WEB).
We notice you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ in your request, and this is a critical matter. The Bible is clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we can approach the Father. *"No one comes to the Father, except through me."* (John 14:6, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, all other prayers and dreams are built on shifting sand.

The church is indeed called to care for those in need, and we ask the Lord to provide helpers who will point you to Christ and walk with you in faith. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her many needs. Lord, You know the desires of her heart, and we ask that You would align them with Your perfect will. If it is Your purpose for her to create and sell apple butter, to start a cooking show, or to cultivate a garden, we pray You would open doors no man can shut and provide every resource needed. May her work bring glory to Your name and be a blessing to others. Yet, Father, guard her heart from placing her hope in these things. Remind her that true joy and fulfillment are found in You alone.
We ask for Your provision over her home—repair what is broken, replace what is unsafe, and grant her wisdom in stewardship. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Meet her needs according to Your riches in glory, and teach her to be content in all things. If there are hazards in her home, protect her and grant her the means to make it safe. We pray for a godly community to surround her, a church that will care for her spiritually and physically, pointing her always to Christ.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety or control in her life. Help her to surrender her plans, her "design and destiny," entirely to You. Your word says that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5). May she trust in Your sovereignty and walk in obedience to Your word.
We also lift up her relationship with "Pops ###." Grant them unity, gratitude, and a shared trust in You. If there is any bitterness or unforgiveness, we ask that You would heal and restore. May their home be filled with Your peace.
Most importantly, Lord, we pray that she would know You deeply. If she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus Christ, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself today. Open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel—that Christ died for her sins, was buried, and rose again, and that by faith in Him alone, she can have eternal life. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and may she walk in the fullness of Your grace.
