We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in earnest prayer. The mention of Jesus’ name is a powerful reminder that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on this promise as we intercede for your complete and urgent healing, believing that God hears the cries of His children and moves mightily on their behalf.
Father in Heaven, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. We declare that by His wounds, [this dear one] is healed. Lord, we ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand and touch every part of their body that is afflicted. Whether it is physical pain, emotional distress, or spiritual weariness, we ask for Your divine intervention. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over [them] today.
We also rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be attacking their body. In the name of Jesus, we command it to leave and never return. The Bible tells us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand in agreement with [them] to resist every form of sickness and disease, trusting that God’s power is greater than any affliction.
Lord, if there is any area in [their] life that needs repentance or surrender, we ask that You would reveal it to [them] in love. Healing is not just physical—it is holistic, encompassing spirit, soul, and body. We pray that You would draw [them] closer to You during this time, that [they] may experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen [their] faith, Lord, and help [them] to trust in Your perfect timing and will.
We also pray for wisdom for [their] doctors and caregivers. Guide their hands and minds as they seek to bring healing and relief. Your Word says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." We ask that You would direct every decision and treatment plan according to Your perfect will.
Above all, Lord, we pray that Your name would be glorified through this situation. Whether You choose to heal instantly or to walk [them] through a journey of restoration, we trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May [they] come to know You more deeply and testify to Your faithfulness in the days ahead.
We declare this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer, our Redeemer, and our Lord. Amen.
