We have heard your cry for strength in the face of demonic attacks and we are standing with you in prayer, for we know that our struggle is real and spiritual.

We want you to know that you are not alone and that the attacks you are facing are taken seriously in Scripture. Ephesians 6:12 says, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The enemy prowls seeking whom he may devour, as 1 Peter 5:8 tells us, but we also have the absolute assurance that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently but firmly want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have authority over the enemy and access to the Father. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is by the name of Jesus, His shed blood on the cross, and His resurrection that we can be forgiven, made children of God, and given power to resist the devil. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, Romans 10:9, and you will be saved and sealed by His Spirit.

For the believer, God has not left us defenseless. He has given us His armor and His power. James 4:7 says, Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Submission to God comes first through repentance, turning from any known sin, closing any door that may have been opened to the enemy, and walking in obedience. Ephesians 6:10-11 says, Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. This armor is truth, righteousness, the preparation of the Good News of peace, faith, salvation, the Word of God, and prayer. Luke 10:19 reminds us, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.

We encourage you to daily immerse yourself in Scripture, speaking it aloud, for it is the sword of the Spirit. Pray without ceasing, fast as the Lord leads you, and remain in fellowship with other believers who can stand with you and keep you accountable. Do not give the enemy a foothold through fear, unforgiveness, or unconfessed sin, but walk in the light and in worship, for the Lord inhabits the praises of His people.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one who is under heavy attack. We ask for Your strength to be made perfect in weakness, for Isaiah 41:10 says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Lord, we ask that You forgive any sin and cleanse by the blood of Jesus, and that You fill this heart with Your Holy Spirit and with peace that passes all understanding. We rebuke every demonic influence, every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment, and we command it to flee in Jesus name, for at His name every knee must bow. We pray You would surround this life with Your angels, with Your protection as promised in Psalm 91:1, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Clothe this one in the full armor of God, strengthen faith to quench every fiery dart of the evil one, and let Your Word be a lamp and a weapon day and night. Restore joy, sleep, and courage, and let this testimony become one of victory, for Philippians 4:13 says, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. We pray that this one would grow strong in You, rooted in Christ, and walk in continual freedom and authority. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

We appreciate you letting us know what you are going through. Feeling under spiritual attack can be draining and unsettling, and it takes courage to ask for prayer.

We want you to know you are not alone in this. We are praying for you, and we believe God hears you, is with you, and is stronger than any opposition you face. At the same time we know it helps not to focus only on the attack itself, but to keep your eyes on Christ and his care for you.

It can make a real difference to not carry this by yourself. If you have a trusted pastor, elder, or mature believer in your life, consider inviting them to pray with you in person and to stay in regular contact over the coming weeks. Simply having someone who knows your name, checks in, and prays alongside you can bring steadiness and perspective when things feel heavy. Staying rooted in ordinary rhythms of prayer, time in the Word, rest, and fellowship often helps more than trying to fight in your own strength.

Father, we lift our friend to you right now. We ask you to give strength for today, peace that steadies the heart and mind, and clear wisdom for each next step. Surround them with your presence and with caring people who will walk with them. Help them to know they are held and loved by you. In Jesus name, amen.

Your cry for strength under these spiritual assaults has been heard and we lift you even now to the throne of grace, where deliverance is found.

Be assured that the enemy who assails you is a defeated foe. We have been delivered from worse enemies and saved by a greater salvation, for our Lord Jesus Christ has spoiled principalities and powers and triumphed over them. As it is written, He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. The ransom has been found. God Himself has said, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom, and that ransom is the precious blood of Christ. In Him alone is your hope, for apart from Him all strength is but derived strength and must fail, but His strength is inexhaustible and omnipotent.

You speak of needing strength to overcome. Hear the promises of God to His tried people. To those who have no might He increases strength, and He has said, As thy days so shall thy strength be. Your shoes shall be iron and brass, and whatsoever thy day demands, thy strength shall be sufficient for it. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. This is not strength gathered from within yourself, but strength given, strength imparted by the Lord Himself who declares, I will strengthen them. When there remains no strength in you, nor any ability of any kind, then fling yourself upon the Divine strength and lay hold upon it.

Therefore we pray for you:

O Lord God Almighty, our Father in heaven, we bring this tried and weary soul before Thee. Thou seest the attacks and the heaviness felt, and Thou knowest the wiles of the adversary who goes about as a roaring lion. We ask Thee to manifest Thy power on behalf of this one. Strengthen with all might according to Thy glorious power. Put upon this dear one the whole armour of God, that standing in Christ and covered by His righteousness, the fiery darts of the wicked may be quenched. Grant grace to wait upon Thee, to watch and pray, to abide in Thy Word, and to resist the devil steadfast in the faith, knowing that Christ has overcome. Deliver from the power of sin and from the assaults of Satan, for deliverance is Thy work alone. Thou bringest forth, and Thou makest the deliverance effectual. Let this soul know that underneath are the everlasting arms, and that Thou wilt not suffer the tempted one to be tried above that which is able to be borne. Renew strength as the eagle's, give peace within the borders, and turn the night of weeping into a morning of gladness.

Take comfort and continue to look to Christ alone for salvation and strength, cleaving to Him, calling upon His name, and walking in His light. He will keep thee and thou shalt not die but live to declare the works of the Lord. May the Lord hear and answer, and give thee to prove that they that wait upon Him shall not be ashamed.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will strengthen thee with strength in thy soul and keep thee by His mighty power until every enemy is put under thy feet.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
