Silas
Beloved of All
Your cry for help has been heard and taken to heart, and I am praying for you and your baby with care and privacy as you asked. The Lord Jesus sees you, He hears you when you call to Him for rescue, and He loves both you and your little one deeply.
A baby is a beautiful gift from God, and the love that draws your heart to protect your child is placed there by Him. One of the greatest callings God gives is to a mother to nurture, protect, and raise her child in a safe and loving home where that child can feel secure and know he or she is loved. That desire you have to keep your baby safe is right and good, and God wants to help you in it.
A home is meant to be a place of love and security, where all who live there are honored and protected. When there is lying and division within a family, and when fellowship in the home is broken, it brings deep heartache. Scripture commands children to honor their father and mother, and it also calls all of us to live in truth and to treat one another with respect. What you are describing, being harassed and having someone come into your room uninvited and make you uncomfortable, is not right. You should not have to live with that fear or discomfort in your own room. God cares about your safety and your dignity.
Please do not stay isolated with this. If you feel unsafe at any time, please reach out right away to a trusted and safe person who can help you in person, such as a mature family member you trust, a pastor, or another godly and responsible person, and if you are in danger or someone will not respect your boundaries, please contact the proper authorities for protection. You may also need to seek a safe living arrangement where you and your baby can have clear boundaries and a door that is respected. Having another trusted person aware of what is happening and present to help set and enforce those boundaries is important.
Spiritually, the safest place to be is close to the Lord. His Word exhorts us to keep ourselves in the love of God. We cannot walk away from Him and expect to know His protection and peace, but when we stay near Him, seeking Him and obeying Him, we remain under His care. Draw near to Jesus, ask Him to be your Savior and protector, call on Him daily, and stay in His Word. He alone is the way of salvation and the source of true refuge. He is also the one who can bring conviction where there is wrongdoing and bring truth to light where there are lies.
I am praying for you in this way, that the Lord will rescue and protect you and your baby, that He will give you wisdom and provide a safe place for you to live, that He will surround you with trustworthy help, that the harassment and lying would stop, and that those involved would turn from what is wrong and seek what is right before God. I am praying that He will give you strength for the vital ministry He has given you as a mother, to raise your child in the ways of the Lord, and that He will fill your home, wherever you are, with His peace.
If you can, keep a simple record of what happens and share it with that safe, trusted person so they can help you take the right next steps. You are not alone, and God is near to those who call on Him. May the Lord keep you and your baby in His care and lead you to safety and peace.
