We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up every concern laid before us, trusting in the Lord who hears and answers prayer according to His perfect will. First, we must address the foundation of all our petitions—our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first and most critical step in aligning our lives with God’s purposes.
Father, we lift up this situation of financial injustice, asking that You intervene in power. We pray that the organization holding these funds would release them immediately, that deception would be exposed, and that any unrighteous gain would be brought to light. "The LORD detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him" (Proverbs 11:1). We rebuke every spirit of fraud and manipulation in Jesus’ name, declaring that truth shall prevail. Lord, provide the resources needed for legal counsel, for we know that "the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous" (Proverbs 13:22). Open doors for the sale of the house and car, that all may transact in honesty and integrity. We pray for the vendor’s understanding and flexibility, trusting that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.
The pain of betrayal and the heartache over your children weighs heavily on our hearts. We pray against any spirit of division or brainwashing that has taken root, asking that the Holy Spirit would soften their hearts and bring conviction. "Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them" (Psalm 51:10). Lord, restore their memories of the love, care, and biblical foundation you provided, that they may see the truth and return to you. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the enemy’s plans to steal, kill, and destroy will be thwarted.
We also lift up your relationships with family and friends, asking for healing and restoration. It is written, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone" (Romans 12:18). We pray for conviction to fall upon those who have mistreated you, that they may repent and seek reconciliation. Bind the spirit of strife and division, and let Your love and unity prevail among your sisters and extended family. Father, heal the sickness in your body and in your cousin’s life, that she may witness Your power and be restored to full health. "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5).
For the upcoming hearing, we ask for divine wisdom and clarity. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). Guide your steps, grant you favor, and let justice be served. We also pray for a swift and favorable response regarding the unemployment hearing, trusting that You are your provider and sustainer.
We give You thanks for the answered prayers you’ve already seen—the laptop charger, returning to work, the unemployment payments, the found work laptop, and the extension for the hearing. These are testimonies of Your faithfulness! "Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever" (Psalm 107:1). We continue to stand on Your promises, believing that You will complete the good work You’ve begun.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair, declaring that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen your faith, knowing that "the LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). We pray for renewed vision, hope, and perseverance, trusting that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
