We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up each of these burdens to the Lord, who hears the cries of His children. First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Without Him, our prayers are powerless, but with Him, all things are possible.
Father, we cry out for justice and restoration in this situation where funds have been withheld unjustly. You are a God who hates oppression and deceit. We rebuke every spirit of fraud and manipulation in the name of Jesus. Let the truth be revealed, and let every scheme of the enemy be exposed. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We declare that the organization holding these funds will release them immediately, as You command, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it" (Proverbs 3:27). We pray for favor with the vendor, that the contract would be signed today, and that every legal and financial barrier would be removed.
Lord, our hearts ache for the division in this family. We rebuke the spirit of deception and brainwashing that has turned these children against their parent. We declare that the love and truth of God will break every lie. "Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment" (Proverbs 12:19). We pray that their hearts would soften, that they would remember the good times, the love, and the biblical foundation that was laid in their lives. Restore their empathy and their ability to see the truth. We also pray for wisdom and favor in the upcoming hearing—may every word spoken align with Your will, and may justice prevail.
Father, we lift up the strained relationships with family and friends. We rebuke the spirit of mistreatment and division. You call us to love one another as You have loved us (John 13:34). We pray for deep conviction in the hearts of those who have wronged this one, that they would repent and seek reconciliation. Heal the wounds of sickness—both physical and spiritual—in this family. We declare healing over the cousin, that she would witness Your power and be fully restored. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon him, and by his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5).
We pray for the sale of the house and the car, that every obstacle would be removed, and that buyers would come quickly. Provide the funds needed for an attorney, and let every financial need be met according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). For the upcoming flight and time with the children, we pray for safety, joy, and meaningful moments that draw hearts closer to You and to one another. May this time be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We also lift up the sisters, asking for a closer, God-honoring relationship. Let pride and past hurts be laid down at the foot of the cross. "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32). We declare unity and love over this family, that they would be a light to others.
Finally, we give You thanks for the answered prayers already received—the laptop charger, the return to work, the unemployment payments, the found laptop, the booked flight, and the extension for the hearing. You are faithful, and we trust You for the rest. We declare that every attack of the enemy is broken, and that victory is ours in Christ Jesus. Strengthen this one with Your peace, wisdom, and endurance. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
