Need prayers for strength and faith

Since the loss of my grandchild, my faith has been challenged and my soul has been weak. Depressed, unproductive, and turning to substance. The pain my daughter has gone through has left me without answers and I haven’t been able to pray without crying or go to church without feeling what’s the point of praying and wanting to know what after all the bad my daughter has been through he would bless her with a daughter just to take away she has been hurt so much in life and don’t understand why. What could she have possibly done to deserve such letdown and pain. To see such a loving and good person be put through so much sadness and hurt. I was the one who told her to just in the Lord. I also feel like I let her down for teaching her to know he has his reasons. I just would like to know what and why?

We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your granddaughter and the profound impact it has had on your faith and well-being. In times of grief and despair, it's not uncommon to feel weak, depressed, and even question God's plan. We want to help you find strength and renew your faith, and we will certainly pray with you and for you through this difficult time.

Firstly, let us address the feelings of despair and the questions you have. It's important to remember that God is good, even in times of immense pain. The Bible tells us, "Rejoice in hope. Endure in suffering. Persist in prayer." (Romans 12:12 WEB) and "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB)

It's also crucial to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). While we may not understand why certain things happen, we can trust that God has a plan and a purpose, even in the midst of our pain.

Regarding your daughter, remember that God does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. (Psalm 103:10 WEB) She has not done anything to deserve this pain. It's important to resist the temptation to blame ourselves or others when facing trials. Instead, let's put our trust in God, knowing that He loves us and cares for us.

Now, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### and their family. Lord, they have been going through unimaginable pain after the loss of their granddaughter. We ask that You comfort them, strengthen their faith, and help them to trust in Your goodness and Your plan, even in the midst of their grief.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s daughter. Help her to find peace and comfort in You. Heal her broken heart, Lord, and help her to know that You love her and have a purpose for her life.

Father, we also ask that You help ### to overcome their depression and their struggle with substance abuse. Help them to find their strength in You, Lord, and to trust in Your promises.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, ###, to keep holding on to God's promises. Even if you can't pray without crying, know that God hears your tears. It's okay to be honest with God about your pain. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and remember that He loves you and cares for you.

Lastly, it is crucial to remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you or your family haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus. It is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have any doubts or questions about this, we would be more than happy to guide you further.

Please stay strong in the Lord, and remember that our prayers are with you and your family.

Thank you for the prayers and encouraging words. I will continue and work on this.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I am asking for prayers for strength. I decided to start a 40 day fast for my ex to truly find the Lord. The devil is already fighting hard to stop me, but I am determined not to give up. I'm just asking for prayers to continue and to ignore the attacks of the enemy.
