We hear your cry for a miracle, and we stand with you in fervent prayer for the salvation of this precious soul. The Scriptures remind us that "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). This is a promise we cling to as we lift up this individual before the throne of grace.
First, we must address the foundation of all salvation, faith in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If this person has not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their need for a Savior. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB). Salvation is a gift, not earned by human effort, but received through faith in Christ alone.
We rebuke any deception or stronghold that may be blinding this person to the truth of the Gospel. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every lie of the enemy to be shattered in the mighty name of Jesus. Let the light of Christ pierce the darkness in their heart, and may they be drawn to the Father as the Holy Spirit woos them with His love.
We pray for a divine encounter, whether through a dream, a word from a believer, or an undeniable touch from God, that would break through any resistance. "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44 WEB). Father, draw them to Yourself. Let them hear Your voice clearly and respond with a heart of repentance and surrender.
If there are generational sins or curses at work, we break them now in the authority of Jesus’ name. "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us" (Galatians 3:13 WEB). We declare that this person is not bound by the past but is set free by the blood of Jesus.
For those praying alongside us, we encourage you to persist in intercession. "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB). Do not grow weary, for the prayers of the righteous availeth much (James 5:16). Share the Gospel with boldness and love, trusting that God’s Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for the salvation of this soul. We ask for a miracle of transformation, that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Break every chain, silence every lie, and flood their heart with Your truth and love. Send laborers across their path, believers who will speak life and share the hope of the Gospel. Soften their heart to receive Your grace, and let them experience the peace that surpasses all understanding. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a purpose and plan for their life. May they turn to You with all their heart, soul, and mind, and may their life bring glory to Your name. We ask this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
