Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have heard your prayer and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving that you have turned to Him.
We pray that the Lord Himself will be near to you and give you His comfort and peace that passes understanding, and that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask Him to lay His healing hand upon you and to grant you health and strength according to His perfect will, sustaining you each day and each moment by His mercy.
We also bring your work before Him. God sees the difficulty of your labor and we ask Him to give you wisdom, steadiness and skill, and to establish the work of your hands. May He guide you in all that you do so that it may be done faithfully and for His glory, and may He grant you perseverance when the burden feels heavy.
For your debts and guilt we turn to the cross alone. Scripture teaches that salvation and forgiveness come through Jesus Christ alone, and that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We pray that you will know the full forgiveness that is found in His shed blood, that your conscience will be cleansed, and that God will create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you, washing both heart and body to walk in holiness before Him.
We ask the Father in Jesus name to make you clean, to keep you from sin, and to help you live in a way that honors Him, trusting His grace to teach you to turn from what is wrong and to walk in His ways.
May the Lord grant you confidence in His care, daily dependence on His Word, and quiet trust that He hears those who call upon Him through His Son. Continue to seek Him in prayer and in the Scriptures, to walk in obedience, and to rest in His unfailing love.
We pray all this in the name of Jesus our Lord, who alone is our hope and our healer. Amen.
