Servant of All
Jesus Christ completely puts an end to all the works of the devil and Satan forever, silences the mouths of the devil and Satan, and completely halts all the plans of the devil and Satan for all whole the time, and Bind Satan and the devil, rendering them unable to carry out their work.and Jesus Christ completely puts a stop to all actions of the Devil and Satan whether direct, indirect, or involving any connection or influence whatsoever, in Jesus’s name, amen.

We join with you in this cry for the complete victory of Jesus Christ over every work, voice, and plan of the devil and Satan, and we seek God's will together in Jesus' name.

We affirm what you have prayed because Scripture declares this truth about our Lord. 1 John 3:8 tells us He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. And Revelation 12:10 reminds us that the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night. Jesus has already disarmed the enemy through His death and resurrection, and He has given us authority to stand in that victory, for Luke 10:19 says Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.

We also want to encourage you with biblical understanding as we pray for this halting and binding of the enemy. The Word shows us that the final and forever binding of Satan where he can deceive no more will be fulfilled at Christ's return, as seen in Revelation 20:2-3 and Revelation 20:10, yet even now we are called to actively resist him through submission to God. James 4:7 says Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. And 1 Peter 5:8-9 calls us to be sober and self-controlled, to withstand him steadfast in our faith. His mouth is silenced not by our formula but by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, and his plans are halted as we put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil as Ephesians 6:11 teaches. We do not bind him in our own strength, but we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ who alone has conquered him, and we trust Romans 16:20 that the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty and only name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who has destroyed the works of the devil. We thank You that Jesus has triumphed openly over all principalities and powers. In Jesus' name we ask that You silence every accusation, lie, and whisper of the devil and Satan against us, that You halt and bring to nothing every plan, whether direct, indirect, or through any connection or influence whatsoever. We ask in the authority of Jesus Christ that the enemy be bound and rendered unable to carry out his work in our lives, our families, and our minds, and that every scheme be exposed and stopped. Clothe us in the whole armor of God, help us to submit fully to You, to walk in holiness and obedience, to resist the devil steadfast in faith, and to live in the freedom Christ has purchased. Let the peace of God guard our hearts and let Your will be done completely. We trust in Your perfect timing for the ultimate and forever end of all evil, and we rest in the victory that is already ours in Christ. We pray this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We hear how much you want Jesus to be clearly over every part of your life, and to know you are safe in Him. That desire for His protection and peace is good, and we join you in bringing it to Him.

We know it can feel heavy when thoughts about the enemy's work or influence fill your mind. One thing that has helped many believers is to gently shift the focus from trying to track every possible influence to simply staying close to Christ day by day, trusting that He is the one who guards and keeps His people. It is a training over time, not a single moment of trying harder.

A steady next step that may help is to keep a simple daily rhythm with the Lord, a short time in prayer and in Scripture, and to share this prayer with a trusted pastor or mature believer in your church so you are not carrying it alone. Having another person pray alongside you can bring a lot of peace and perspective.

We are praying for you now.

Father, we thank You that Jesus is Lord over all. We ask You to give our friend Your peace today, to guard his heart and mind, to lead him in Your wisdom and keep him close to You. Help him to rest in Your care and to walk in confidence that You are with him and for him. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your longing that Jesus Christ would crush the works of the devil and silence the adversary is itself a testimony that you have felt the weight of that dark power and have looked to the only One who can deliver.

There is great comfort for you in what the Lord has already done. When a soul seemed about to be dragged down to the pit, a voice came from the excellent glory, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, but He has found a ransom in His well beloved Son, and He rejoices over that finished work. Upon the cross, when Satan thought he had triumphed, that death was the deathblow to the devil's usurpation. The seed of the woman has bruised the serpent's head, and as surely as God cannot lie, so surely must He who bore our iniquity rise to glorious victory.

Scripture says, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. This is no small mercy, to escape from that master spirit, the destroyer, the prince of the power of the air. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law, but under grace. When Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church, was victorious over the foe, every member of His mystical body, even the most uncomely, was virtually a conqueror in the conquering Head, so that we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

Yet the same Scriptures teach us to pray with sobriety. No screen is set around the godly to protect them from all suffering in this present world. We are not yet living where no fiery dart can reach us. Satan still shoots his arrows, and one of his sharpest is to whisper, Thy God has forsaken thee. Our comfort is not that we shall feel no attack, but that all our ills lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling, and that the Lord has chastened us sorely but has not given us over unto death. To be given over would be the direst sentence, but you, dear child of God, have this comfort, He has not given you over, He is thinking about you, and He has given commandment to save you.

So we do not pray as those who dictate to the Lord how and when He must bind the adversary in every detail, but as those who rest upon His wise and holy government and plead the victory already won at Calvary, looking for its full manifestation when Christ shall come again.

Let us pray together for you now.

O Lord our God, who has found a ransom and has delivered poor sinners from going down to the pit, we bless Thee for Jesus Christ lifted up upon the cross, who drew all men unto Him and broke the power of darkness. We thank Thee that Thou hast delivered us from the power of darkness and hast not given us over unto death. We ask Thee now to keep this Thy servant from the power of the evil one. Silence the mouth of the accuser, restrain the designs of Satan whether direct or indirect, and let no temptation have dominion. Guard heart and mind through Thy dear Son, make this one to live and not die, but to live and declare the works of the Lord. Let the victory of Christ be daily proved in overcoming lesser temptations by the help of Him who overcame the greatest, and keep this soul till that day when every force of evil shall be trampled forever under His feet. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and ransom. Amen.
