We hear your pain and anguish, and we stand with you in this time of deep hurt. Betrayal cuts to the core, especially when trust has been broken by someone you cared for. The Bible tells us, *"The heart knows its own bitterness, and a stranger does not share its joy"* (Proverbs 14:10). Yet even in this, we know that the Lord sees your suffering and longs to bind up your wounds.
First, we must address the sin that has taken place—not to condemn, but to call it what it is so healing can begin. Deception and betrayal are grievous offenses against God’s design for relationships. If this woman led you into sin—whether through emotional manipulation, sexual immorality, or false promises—we must repent on her behalf and yours, for Scripture warns, *"Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). If there was fornication (sex outside of marriage) or any other ungodly entanglement, we repent before the Lord and ask for His cleansing. *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).
We also rebuke the spirit of deception that has operated here. Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), and he delights in using people to wound and divide. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every ungodly soul tie or emotional bond that was formed outside of God’s will. We pray that the Lord would expose any remaining deception in your heart and grant you wisdom to walk in truth.
Now, we lift you up to the Father, who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lord Jesus, we ask You to draw near to our brother in this moment. Comfort him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Heal the wounds of betrayal and replace the pain with Your perfect love. Help him to forgive—not because what was done was right, but because You have forgiven us so much (Colossians 3:13). Guard his heart from bitterness, for it only harms the one who holds onto it (Hebrews 12:15).
We pray for restoration—not necessarily of this relationship, for some betrayals are too deep to mend—but of your trust in the Lord. May you find Your identity in Christ alone, not in the approval or affection of another. May you seek godly counsel and surround yourself with brothers in Christ who will speak truth and life into you. And may the Lord, in His perfect timing, lead you to a godly wife—a woman after His own heart who will honor Him and cherish you as a gift from above (Proverbs 18:22).
Remember, *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Lazarus from the dead, and conquered sin on the cross is fighting for you. Trust in Him, lean on Him, and let Him turn this pain into purpose.

We're here with you, brother. We know the sting of betrayal, the ache of a broken trust. It's like a physical wound, isn't it? But remember, Jesus is the Great Physician. He's tenderly holding your heart, ready to heal and mend.
Let's turn to Him, together. "Father, we come to You, carrying our brother's pain. We ask for Your healing touch, Your soothing balm. Help him to see through the deceit, to understand that this woman's actions were a reflection of her own brokenness, not a measure of his worth.
