KEEP PRAYING UNTIL FATHERGOD ANSWERS?

We hear your urgent cry for provision, and our hearts ache with yours as you face this time of need. The Word of God reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." We stand with you in faith, believing that our Heavenly Father sees your need and will provide according to His riches in glory.

First, we want to encourage you to reach out to local churches, food banks, and community organizations in your area. Many have resources specifically set aside to help families in times like these. Do not hesitate to ask for help, this is not a sign of weakness but an opportunity for God’s people to be His hands and feet. Proverbs 3:27-28 says, "Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Don’t say to your neighbor, ‘Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it,’ when you have it by you." If you are able, let others know of your need so they can act in obedience to God’s Word.

We also rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold of you in this season. Philippians 4:19 declares, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not just a promise for some, it is a promise for you. We pray that you would hold fast to this truth, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. God is not slow to answer; He is working even now to meet your needs in ways you may not yet see.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious family to You. Lord, You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, and we know that You see their need for food and daily bread. We ask that You would open the floodgates of heaven and pour out Your provision in this very moment. Father, lead them to the resources and people You have already prepared to help them. Give them wisdom to seek out food banks, churches, and organizations that can assist them while they wait for their SNAP approval. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of lack or fear that would try to steal their peace. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1).

We also ask that You would strengthen their faith as they wait. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Father, if there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unbelief in their hearts, we ask that You would uproot it and replace it with Your perfect peace. Fill them with the assurance that You are their Father, and You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

Lord, we thank You in advance for the miracle of provision You are about to perform. We declare that this family will not go hungry, and that Your name will be glorified through their testimony. May they experience Your love in tangible ways, and may their hearts overflow with gratitude as they see Your hand at work. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One who gave His life so that we might live abundantly. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and worship, even in this difficult season. Praise has a way of shifting our perspective and inviting God’s presence into our circumstances. Psalm 34:10 says, "The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing." Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working on your behalf. You are not forgotten, God sees you, He loves you, and He will provide.

We hear how urgent this is, the empty cupboard and the long wait, and we’re sitting with you in that tension right now. It makes such sense that you’d plead “keep praying until FatherGod answers,” and we will keep praying with you, day by day.

While you wait, we’d also love to see you get some immediate, practical help. Most towns have at least one church food pantry or community meal program that doesn’t require SNAP approval or paperwork, just a visit. A quick call to 211 (if you’re in the U.S.) or a look at a local church’s website can often point you to food distribution sites open this week. God often provides through the hands of his people who are already stocked up and ready to share.

We’re asking with you, simply and honestly, because Jesus knows what it is to be hungry and to depend on the Father day by day, and he hasn’t forgotten you in this.

Lord, you fed your people in the wilderness with exactly what they needed for that day. Please open a path for this family to have good, nourishing food today, before the approval comes through. Lead them to a food pantry, a kind neighbor, or an unexpected provision. In the meantime, steady their hearts with your peace, and speed the paperwork so this burden lifts soon. In Jesus’ name we ask.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for food now, and rightly so, for hunger breaks through stone walls and will not wait. The hungry man’s tense is ever the present, and your plea is urgent. I would not put a morsel of bread before a starving man and ask him to wait a week; God is not less tender than a human father. He who sent manna in the wilderness and multiplied the loaves hears the cry of the poor and needy. The needy shall not always be forgotten; the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.

Yet stay your heart upon this comfort: our blessed Lord Himself was poor, so poor that He had not where to lay His head. He knows the gnawing pain of the hunger-bite. He is a friend in need, indeed, a friend born for our adversity. You may therefore go to Him with boldness, for He is touched with the feeling of your infirmity.

But look beyond the outward means to God Himself, for none can keep alive his own body, much less his soul. Your prayer is not unheard. Keep knocking, but knock with the faith that receives. Many a man has his gold and yet is devoured with hunger in the midst of plenty, because his soul starves while his body feeds. Let this present scarcity drive you to the bread of heaven; hunger and thirst after righteousness, and that shall be satisfied even while the cupboard seems bare.

The desire of the righteous shall be granted. He will send help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion. Your Father knows you need these things. Believe it, and leave your ### approval in His hands with all childlike confidence. He who feeds the sparrows will not let your family faint. Only see to it that your soul feasts on Christ Himself; then you may take the prophet’s resolve and say even now, “I will greatly rejoice in the Lord.” The answer is on its way; walk in that assurance, and in due season you shall eat and be satisfied.

You cry out for bread, and your stomach aches with emptiness. This is no small affliction, for hunger weakens the body and troubles the soul. Yet did not our Lord allow the multitude to hunger in the wilderness, not from neglect, but to teach them Whither to turn? When the disciples saw the thousands, they panicked and said, “Whence should we have so many loaves?” They forgot Who stood before them. You too are now in that wilderness moment, the cupboard bare, the assistance delayed. Do not let your heart be troubled. The same Christ who multiplied the five loaves and two fishes, given up freely by those who had almost nothing, sees your need more clearly than you see it yourself. He did not despise the small offering but blessed it, broke it, and filled all.

So I say to you: first, give thanks for what little you have, even if it seems a handful of meal. Do not make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, as the Apostle warns, seeking rich dainties when mere sufficiency would restore health. The body is not a drain into which we pour endless luxuries; a simple sufficiency, taken with gratitude, nourishes better than a glutton’s feast. If there is any morsel you have, share it with your family in peace, and entrust tomorrow to God. For He made you without needing you, and He will not let His own perish for lack of bread.

But while you wait, do not make your belly an idol. The present life is a sleep, and its hungers are like dreams that pass at dawn. Far worse than an empty stomach is a soul palsied by neglect of spiritual food. While earthly providers delay, run to the table of Scripture. Feed on the promises. Let the cries for earthly bread be joined with tears for the Bread of Life. Are your ears stopped? Unstop them with prayer and almsgiving, even if your alms are only a cup of cold water given in the name of Christ. Such sacrifices He does not despise.

You ask, “How long must I pray?” I answer: do not cease, but do not dictate to God the hour of His answer. He delays at times to sharpen your faith, just as He tested the disciples before the miracle. He knows that the body, when water-logged with anxiety, breaks loose the joints of the soul. So while you cry out “ASAP,” let patience have her perfect work. The approval may come even as you speak the prayer; or it may tarry so that you learn to trust Him more deeply than you trust the hand of man. In all this, remember the Lord’s own warning: “Take heed that no man deceive you.” Do not let the enemy deceive you into believing God has forgotten or that your need is too small.

Therefore, I exhort you: stand fast. Pray without ceasing, but let your prayers be seasoned with faith, not frantic desperation. Rise from your knees and do what your hands find to do, for idleness only sharpens hunger. Share what you have, be it only words of encouragement to another sufferer, and see if the Lord does not open a window of provision. The same Christ who fed the thousands with scraps will feed you. Only do not be like those who, when full, forget the Giver and sink into a soft, relaxed life. Receive your daily bread as from His hand, with a vow to use the strength it gives for the energies of the soul. Thus, even this hour of need becomes a ladder to heaven.

Hunger is a real and pressing need, and God does not ignore it. The ache of an empty stomach and the worry of where the next meal will come from are things He cares about deeply. In the law, He made a provision so that a hungry person walking through a field could pick grain and eat right then, because human need overrides the formal rules we might build around the gifts of God. Jesus Himself defended the disciples when they were hungry and plucked grain on the Sabbath, reminding us that the commandment was never meant to stand between a person and the sustenance they need to survive.

So when you cry out for food now, right in this moment, you are reaching for the heart of the Father who feeds the birds and clothes the grass of the field. He is not distant or slow to listen. Bring it to Him simply: “Lord, I need help.” You don’t have to figure out the how. Let Him choose the way. Sometimes it comes through a neighbor, a bag left at the door, a sudden provision that surprises everyone. In Scripture, a whole city was starving, and outside the gate God had already prepared an abundance they could not see until they stumbled into it.

The body of Christ is meant to move when one part hurts. We are bound together in a family that runs deeper than even blood. When you ache, the whole body feels it and responds. That is why we never tire of lifting each other up and sharing whatever we have. There is always room at the table because the Lord of the harvest has given us more than enough to meet the needs around us. He puts His people in each other’s lives so that no one has to go hungry while another has bread.

Keep praying with that bold, expectant faith. Let every pang of hunger be a prompt to speak the name of Jesus and trust Him again. He is not waiting to scold you for asking; He is looking for you to lean on Him. In the meantime, do not hesitate to let a brother or sister know the practical extent of the need. The church thrives when we carry each other’s burdens, and many hands make the provision tangible.

May the Lord bring you food for today and steady assurance until the official help arrives. He is able to sustain you and your family right now.
