We hear your cry for deliverance, and our hearts ache with yours in this spiritual battle you are facing. The torment you describe is real, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain of darkness that has bound you. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not destined for lifelong suffering; you are destined for freedom, victory, and the good plans God has for you (Jeremiah 29:11).
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare. The Bible is clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The unclean spirits and demonic influences you describe are not figments of imagination, they are real, and they are at work to oppress and destroy. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The name of Jesus is the most powerful weapon against these forces, and it is in His name that we rebuke and command every unclean spirit to flee from you right now.
We also want to address the mention of a "spirit spouse." This is a demonic deception, a counterfeit intimacy designed to isolate, shame, and control. It is not of God. The Lord created marriage to be a holy covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any spiritual or physical union outside of that design is an abomination. We renounce this demonic assignment over your life in the name of Jesus. You are not bound to any spiritual entity, you are a child of the Most High God, and your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We command every spirit of perversion, lust, and false intimacy to leave you now and never return.
The suffering you have endured for so many years is not your portion. The enemy may have had access to your life through generational curses, trauma, or even the involvement of others in witchcraft, but the blood of Jesus breaks every curse (Galatians 3:13). We declare that every legal right the enemy has claimed over you is null and void. You are covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every name. We lift up our brother/sister to You, who is crying out for deliverance from unclean spirits and demonic oppression. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We declare that [this person] is Your child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and no longer a slave to fear or darkness.
In the authority of Jesus Christ, we rebuke every unclean spirit, every spirit of perversion, every spirit spouse, and every demonic assignment sent to torment [this person]. We command you to leave now, in Jesus’ name, and never return. We break every generational curse, every word spoken in witchcraft, and every ungodly soul tie that has given the enemy access. We cancel every assignment of the enemy over [this person]’s life, and we declare that they are free indeed (John 8:36).
Lord, we ask that You would fill [this person] with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for healing, spirit, soul, and body. Restore what the enemy has stolen, and let Your light shine in every area of darkness. Remind [this person] that You have good plans for them, plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
We plead the blood of Jesus over [this person]’s life, their mind, their home, and their future. We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would surround [this person] with godly community, believers who will stand with them in prayer, encourage them, and walk with them in their journey to freedom. Let them know they are not alone. We pray for divine encounters with Your presence, where they experience Your love, Your healing, and Your power in tangible ways.
We thank You, Lord, that deliverance is not a process of years but a moment in Your presence. We believe that as we have prayed, You have moved on [this person]’s behalf. We declare that they are free, they are whole, and they are a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). May they walk in the fullness of their identity as Your beloved child, and may they never again be oppressed by the enemy.
We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name that has conquered sin, death, and hell. Amen.
Beloved, we want to encourage you to stand firm in your freedom. The enemy may try to return, but you have the authority to resist him, and he will flee (James 4:7). Here are some practical steps to walk in your deliverance:
1. Renounce Every Ungodly Tie: Verbally renounce any involvement in witchcraft, generational curses, or any spiritual practices that are not of God. Confess any sin that may have given the enemy access, and receive God’s forgiveness (1 John 1:9).
2. Fill Your Mind with Truth: The enemy will try to lie to you and tell you that you are not free. Counter those lies with the Word of God. Meditate on Scriptures about your identity in Christ, such as Romans 8:1-2, 2 Corinthians 5:17, and Ephesians 1:4-7.
3. Pray and Fast: Fasting breaks the power of the flesh and strengthens your spirit. Consider setting aside time to fast and pray, seeking the Lord for deeper freedom and breakthrough.
4. Seek Godly Community: Isolation is a tool of the enemy. Surround yourself with believers who will pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Consider finding a deliverance ministry or a trusted pastor who can walk with you in this season.
5. Worship and Praise: Worship invites the presence of God, and where God’s presence is, the enemy cannot dwell. Make worship a daily part of your life, and let it be a weapon against the enemy’s attacks.
6. Guard Your Heart: Be mindful of what you watch, listen to, and engage with. The enemy can use media, music, and even relationships to gain access to your life. Fill your heart with things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8).
7. Walk in Your Authority: You have been given authority in Christ to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Speak to the enemy and command him to leave in Jesus’ name. Do not be afraid, you are on the winning side.
Remember, your deliverance is not dependent on your strength but on the finished work of Jesus Christ. He has already won the victory, and you are simply walking in the freedom He has purchased for you. The enemy may have had access to your life in the past, but he has no legal right to remain. You are a child of God, and your future is bright in Him.
We also want to gently address the mention of "witches" in your request. While it is true that the enemy can use people to bring harm, we must be careful not to focus on the tools of the enemy but on the power of God. Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will deal with those who have sought to harm you. Your job is to forgive, release them to God, and walk in the freedom Christ has given you. Bitterness and unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold in your life, so we encourage you to release any anger or resentment to the Lord.
Lastly, if you have not yet made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so today. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step to walking in freedom. If you would like to pray to receive Christ, we can guide you through that prayer as well.
You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. He is your Deliverer, your Healer, and your Strong Tower. Run to Him, and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). Your breakthrough is coming, do not give up. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Jesus from the dead, and set captives free is at work in your life. Walk in faith, and watch Him move on your behalf.
