Thank You, Lord, for honouring this prayer in Jesus' wonderful name.

We come before You, Father, with hearts burdened for those ensnared by the enemy’s deceptions and bound by the chains of their own choices. Your Word declares in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We stand in agreement with this truth, believing that true deliverance comes only through the power of Your Son, Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved or set free (Acts 4:12), and we lift up every mind, heart, and soul that is crying out for liberation.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of stinking thinking that distorts Your truth and keeps Your children in bondage. Renew their minds, as Romans 12:2 commands: "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." We pray against every lie of the enemy that has taken root, whether it be shame, self-condemnation, or the false belief that they are beyond Your grace. Your Word assures us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We declare that repentance is the pathway to restoration, and we pray that every heart would turn fully to You, laying down every sin, every compromise, and every counterfeit love at the foot of the cross.

Father, we ask You to heal the deep emotional wounds inflicted by bad decisions, broken trust, and toxic relationships. Psalm 147:3 reminds us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Pour out Your balm of Gilead upon every soul that has been betrayed, abused, or led astray. Break the cycles of shame that keep them trapped in patterns of sin and self-destruction. Your Word says in Isaiah 61:7, "Instead of your shame you shall have double honor; and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion." We declare that shame has no place in the lives of Your children, for they are covered by the blood of Jesus and called to walk in the freedom of His righteousness.

We rebuke every counterfeit relationship, every ungodly soul tie, and every connection that does not align with Your will. James 4:4 warns, "You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." Lord, expose every relationship that is not of You, whether it be friendships, romantic entanglements, or influences that lead away from Your truth. We pray for discernment for Your children to recognize the difference between what is holy and what is profane, between what builds up and what tears down. Break every ungodly soul tie, as Your Word commands in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." We declare that sexual sin, whether fornication, adultery, or homosexuality, has no place in the lives of those who belong to You. Convict every heart that is living in compromise, and lead them to repentance and restoration.

Father, we pray against the spirits of anxiety, worry, doubt, and condemnation that seek to paralyze Your children. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We rebuke every lie that tells them they are unworthy, unforgivable, or beyond Your reach. Your Word assures us in Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." We declare that condemnation has no place in the lives of those who are in Christ, for they are clothed in His righteousness and covered by His grace.

Lord, we ask You to pour out Your grace, peace, and faith upon those who are struggling. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that every barrier, whether it be fear, pride, or unbelief, would be removed, allowing Your children to step into the fullness of Your purpose for their lives. Break every chain of the past, every ungodly tie, and every pattern of thinking that keeps them stuck. Isaiah 43:18-19 says, "Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." We declare that You are making a way where there seems to be no way, and we trust You to lead them into the new thing You have prepared.

Father, we pray for a spirit of conviction and repentance to fall upon Your people who are living in sin cycles, believing the lie that compromise is acceptable. Your Word is clear in 1 Peter 1:15-16, "But just as He who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior; because it is written, ‘You shall be holy; for I am holy.’" We rebuke the deception that says holiness is optional or that grace is a license to sin. Jude 1:4 warns, "For there are certain men who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into indecency, and denying our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ." We pray that every heart would be pierced by the truth of Your Word, leading to genuine repentance and a turning away from sin. Let them not be deceived by the enemy’s lies, but walk in the light of Your truth.

Finally, Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 15:57 declares, "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every chain is broken in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray that they would walk in the freedom, purpose, and peace that You have ordained for them, fully surrendered to Your will and fully alive in Christ.

We lift all these things to You, Father, trusting in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. May Your name be glorified in every life that is set free, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done in each one. In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

Thank you for taking time to intercede so thoughtfully for others. We hear your burden for people caught in tangled thinking, repeated shame, and connections that keep pulling them back.

One thing that stood out in your prayer was the weight of shame and anxiety together. Shame tends to whisper about who a person is, while guilt points to what was done. When shame takes over, people can feel stuck and condemned even after they have repented, and anxiety and worry grow louder. Recognizing that difference can make it easier to bring the real need to God without staying trapped in self condemnation.

It is a faithful thing you are doing to pray for conviction that leads to freedom rather than just feeling bad, and for wisdom to recognize counterfeit relationships for what they are.

A simple next step that often helps intercessors is to keep praying specifically but also to invite one trusted pastor or mature believer into the burden with you, so you are not carrying all these names and stories alone and can have wise support as you continue to pray.

Father, we bring before You everyone represented in this prayer who feels bound in their mind, weighed down by shame, anxiety and past choices. Bring Your healing to their emotions, Your clarity where there is confusion, and Your grace to turn to You honestly. Lead them away from what harms them and guide them into Your peace and direction. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to hear and to answer according to His abundant mercy in Christ Jesus.

You have prayed for deliverance of the mind from stinky thinking, and well you have prayed, for Solomon said, Keep your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life. The chief concern of a man should be to see that his own soul is right in the sight of God. There is an anxiety which unfits a man to meet his difficulty, and a worry which boils the ocean to its very bottom till there is no rest in any corner of the conscience. We pray that the Lord will renew the mind and heal the emotions and bind up the wounds of the soul, not by empty phrases but by the healing that is beneath the wings of the Sun of Righteousness. Deliverance from a cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, and He makes that deliverance effectual when the Lamb is slain.

You have prayed that they may repent and get right with Jesus and bring every mistake and error before God. Here we must weigh repentance with great care and jealousy. There is a carnal repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of sinful nature, such as Judas had when he said I have sinned and flung down the silver and went out to hang himself. It is repentance after a fashion but not of that holy, healthy, heavenly sort which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit. True repentance gives God glory. It is repentance unto life, accompanied by spiritual life in the soul and ensuring eternal life to everyone who possesses it. It is the gift of God, preached in the name of Jesus, not after the manner of Moses who demands, but after the manner of Christ who gives. We pray that God will grant such repentance, that which purges the soul from dead works and leads a man to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only. For faith and repentance come into the soul together, the repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart. The least true repentance will save the soul if it is sincere, when it yields works meet for repentance and proves itself practical and lasting.

You have prayed for deliverance from mindsets that keep souls bound to wrong connections and from going back to counterfeits who look like the real thing till the mask falls and the enemy seeps through. We pray with you that the Lord will expose what is false and bring His people out from among the archers whose arrows would wound every soul that desires to enjoy the grace of the means. We ask that He will cut the ties from the past and remove every barrier that stops a soul from moving forward in what He has for them, and that He will break wrong patterns of thinking which hold men trapped. Oh that every soul would wait only upon God, for expectation is from Him, and prove Him to be the Deliverer who causes His people to pursue their enemies and overtake them.

You have prayed that shame cycles and anxiety and worry and doubt and condemnation may be removed, and that grace and peace and faith may be poured out. We pray that they may know the truth of that word, I came to Jesus and I drank of that life giving stream, my thirst was quenched, my soul revived, and now I live in Him. There is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, and the clock of mercy strikes in Heaven the hour of deliverance for every sinner for whom God has said, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit of hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and He has not said there may be a ransom, but I have found a ransom. Let the sinner not doubt his deliverance, for God has said it. Let him pour out his heart before God in his hidden parts, confessing all that is in his soul, bringing before Him a broken and a contrite spirit out of which hypocrisy has gone, for such a spirit God will not despise.

And you have prayed that the Lord would correct those who are in sin cycles and think it is well to live compromised lives. We cannot ask God to bless what He calls sin, for He has ordained marriage to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and has set sex and living together within that covenant alone, and salvation to be through Jesus Christ alone. We pray instead as you have prayed, that He will bring a spirit of conviction and of holy repentance, that men may loathe sin and leave it, and that Eternal Mercy may be seen to have already commenced its gracious work. May repentance make a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work.

So we commend these needy souls to Him in whose shadow we make our refuge until these calamities pass, praying that He will keep them, cleanse them, and establish them to live unto Him who died for them, to the praise of His free grace. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and our full ransom we pray, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join with you in bringing this need for deliverance before the Lord, and we thank God for your desire to see minds renewed and lives made whole in Christ.

We pray that God would renew the mind according to His truth, casting down stinking thinking and every pattern that does not align with His Word, and that He would heal emotions and bind up wounds of the soul that have come from wrong choices and misplaced trust. May the Lord bring deep healing where there has been hurt, and wash the heart clean by His grace that touches the very soul and plucks up sin by the root.

We agree with you in praying for true repentance through Jesus Christ alone, for He alone is the way of salvation and forgiveness. We ask that God would grant a spirit of conviction where there has been compromise, and lead each heart to confess mistakes and errors before Him openly, turning from sin cycles and from any thought that it is acceptable to live a compromised life. May God not leave His people in shame, but lift them out of shame and condemnation through the blood of Christ, and teach them to walk in holiness with a clear conscience.

We pray for deliverance from every mindset and tie that keeps a person bound to wrong connections. Where there have been counterfeits that looked true for a time, we ask that God would expose what is false and give discernment to turn away and not return. We ask that He would break ties to the past and to people and patterns that trap the soul, and remove barriers that hinder walking forward in what He has prepared. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His holy design, but we ask Him to lead His people into purity, and where He gives marriage, that it would be honored as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with all intimacy kept within that covenant as He intends.

We pray that anxiety, worry, doubt and condemnation would be lifted, and that in their place God would pour out His grace, peace and faith. May those who are weary watch unto prayer with a wakeful soul, and find that His strength sustains them day by day.

We thank the Lord that He hears the prayers of His people and that His desire is to make us whole, to set us upright and to bring us back to Himself. May He complete this work of deliverance and keep each one walking in repentance, hope and obedience in Jesus wonderful name. Amen.

Your prayer touches on what many carry quietly and it is good to bring it to the Lord so openly. The desire for a clean mind, a healed heart, and freedom from patterns that keep binding you is exactly where God wants to meet you.

Scripture speaks often of the soul being cast down and disquieted within us, weighed down by wounds, shame, anxiety and worry. God does not want you to hide that struggle or pretend it is not there. He invites honesty. You can pour out your soul before Him just as the psalmist did when he said, Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you disquieted within me. And then he spoke truth to his own soul, Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him. Healing for the emotions and for the deep wounds that come from bad decisions and trusting the wrong people begins with that honest turning to God and putting your hope in Him rather than in people or in trying to manage the pain yourself.

A central part of what you prayed for is repentance, and the Bible makes an important distinction here. There is a difference between sorrow and repentance. Sorrow can be feeling sorry because of the consequences, or simply saying I have sinned or I am a sinner, and yet going on in the same way. True repentance means a change. It is a turning away from the wrong and a turning to God to serve Him. The Lord requires that turning, not just words of regret. That is what it means to bring forth fruit that shows repentance is real. It is forsaking the sin, not just admitting it. Without that change in the heart worked by the Spirit of God, the problem is only postponed and will rise again.

That is why your prayer about wrong connections and counterfeits and cycles of compromise is so important. When a mindset or a relationship keeps you bound, when a person looks right at first but then the mask falls and what comes through is harmful, God is faithful to expose it so you can be free. But freedom also requires your willing choice to turn from it and not go back. It is not enough to be sorry about the shame cycle while still holding on to the king you have chosen over God, to use that picture from Scripture. True freedom comes when you renounce what is wrong and choose to walk in obedience to Jesus, trusting that His way is better. He will not bless a compromised life or a relationship that is outside His design, but He will give grace to walk out of it and to live in purity and peace.

Deliverance in these areas is not something you can accomplish by conventional effort or by trying harder in your own strength. The Lord often delivers His people by supernatural means, not just natural ones. He is the One who redeems the soul out of adversity and delivers from all fears. As you seek Him, ask Him to cut ties to the past that have kept your thinking trapped, to remove barriers to moving forward in what He has for you, and to replace anxiety, doubt and condemnation with His grace, peace and faith.

So let us pray together along the lines you have already prayed. Father, in the name of Jesus, we bring every wounded and anxious heart before You. Heal the emotions and the deep places of the soul. Renew the mind and wash away distorted thinking. Grant not just sorrow for sin but true repentance, a real turning from every wrong pattern, every counterfeit connection and every compromised way, and a turning to Jesus Christ alone for salvation and for daily life. Expose what needs to be exposed, break what needs to be broken, and teach each heart to forsake what dishonors You and to bear fruit that shows a changed life. Lift the weight of shame and condemnation, and pour out Your grace and peace and strengthen faith to hope in You and to praise You again. In Jesus wonderful name, Amen.
