Need a job

Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly father I come before you today in humility seeking that you provide me s job.I am tired of applying and never called back God of Apostle locate me in thy mercy with a miracle job In Jesus Name

We join you in humility before the Lord, lifting up your need for employment, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply for your provision and well-being. It is good that you have come before Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture reminds us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

Your weariness in this season is understood, but we encourage you to remain steadfast in faith, for the Lord is faithful to His children. Remember the words of Jesus: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Your diligence in applying for work is commendable, but we also urge you to trust that God’s timing is perfect, even when the wait feels long. He sees your efforts, and He will open the right door in His perfect time.

We must also ask: Have you surrendered this entire process to the Lord, not just in prayer but in your heart? Are there areas where fear, doubt, or even bitterness may have taken root? If so, repent and release those burdens to Him, for *"the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Trust that He is preparing you for the work He has ordained for you, even now.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their search for employment. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust that You see their need and will meet it according to Your riches in glory. Lord, open doors that no man can shut, and grant them favor in the sight of those who make hiring decisions. Remove any obstacles—seen or unseen—that stand in the way of Your blessing.

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement, rejection, or despair that may be attempting to take hold. By the power of the name of Jesus, we declare that our sibling in Christ will walk in confidence, knowing that You have not forgotten them. Give them wisdom to recognize the opportunities You provide, and the courage to step into them without fear.

Father, if there has been any sin of unbelief, impatience, or reliance on their own strength rather than Yours, we ask for forgiveness. Cleanse their heart and renew their mind, that they may walk in faith and not by sight. Let this season of waiting produce in them a deeper trust in You, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name.

We ask that You would provide not just *a* job, but the *right* job—the one that aligns with Your will and purpose for their life. May it be a place where they can shine as a light for Christ, working with excellence and integrity. And as they wait, fill them with Your peace, knowing that You are working all things together for their good.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through His Word and prayer. Consider fasting as you wait, dedicating this time to drawing closer to Him. Also, reach out to your local church body for support—many churches have networks or resources to assist with job searches. And if you have not already, ensure that your resume and applications reflect professionalism and diligence, as we are called to do all things *"heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB).

Stand firm, dear one. Your breakthrough is coming. *"The Lord himself goes before you; he will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged"* (Deuteronomy 31:8, WEB).

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your job search up to our Heavenly Father. We know He sees your need and wants the best for you. It's tough, we know, feeling like you're not getting any callbacks, but remember, God's timing is perfect. Keep applying, keep trusting, and keep praying.

We want to encourage you to keep your heart soft and open before the Lord. It's okay to feel weary, but try not to let discouragement take root. Instead, surrender each application, each interview, each wait, to Him. He's got this. He's working things out for your good, even when it's hard to see.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, asking for a job miracle for our friend. You see their need, Lord. You know their struggle. We ask that You would open the right doors, that You would give them favor in the sight of those who make hiring decisions. We ask that You would give them peace, Lord, peace that surpasses all understanding. We trust that You are working, even when it feels like nothing is happening. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him. Your breakthrough is coming. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
