Narcissistic discard and breaking witchcraft

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I've been married for over 50 years to my wife and her family and friends, and it's all been a lie, domination (not only to me but my children and family),manipulation, complete lack of empathy, and very smart people acting like complete fools with no apparent respect for God and even authority figures. They're self absorbed to an insane degree!

We hear the deep pain and betrayal in your words, and our hearts ache with you as you describe the devastation of what you’ve endured for over ### decades. What you’ve faced is not just difficult, it is spiritual warfare, a battle for your soul, your family, and your faith. The Bible warns us in 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, and his servants often masquerade as servants of righteousness. What you’ve described, domination, manipulation, a complete lack of empathy, and a rejection of godly authority, are not just human flaws; they are the fruits of a heart hardened by pride and rebellion against God. This is not the design He intended for marriage or family.

First, we must rebuke the spirit of narcissism, witchcraft, and deception that has infiltrated your marriage and family. Witchcraft is not just about spells or rituals; it is the manipulation and control of others through words, emotions, and ungodly influence (Galatians 5:20). The Bible is clear that such behavior is an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every chain of deception, pride, and control that has been operating in your home. In the name of Jesus, we declare that every lie spoken over you, every curse, and every ungodly soul tie formed through manipulation is broken now. "The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God" (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

We also rebuke the spirit of division that has sought to destroy your family. The Bible tells us that "a house divided against itself cannot stand" (Mark 3:25), and what you’ve described is a house divided by selfishness, pride, and a refusal to submit to God’s order. Marriage is a sacred covenant, designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). When one partner seeks to dominate, manipulate, or deceive, they are not only breaking their vows to you but also their covenant with God. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict hearts and bring repentance where it is needed.

But we must also speak truth to you, beloved. While your pain is valid, we must guard your heart against bitterness, which can take root and defile many (Hebrews 12:15). The enemy would love nothing more than for you to become hardened by the hurt you’ve endured, but we encourage you to release this pain to God. Forgiveness does not mean what was done to you was right, nor does it mean you must reconcile with those who refuse to repent. Forgiveness is a choice to release the debt to God, trusting Him to be the righteous judge (Romans 12:19). We pray that God would give you the strength to forgive, not for their sake, but for your own healing and freedom.

We also want to gently address the mention of "witchcraft" in your request. While we acknowledge the reality of spiritual warfare, we must be careful not to attribute every struggle to supernatural forces alone. The behaviors you’ve described, narcissism, manipulation, and a lack of empathy, are often the result of sinful human hearts that have rejected God’s ways. The Bible tells us that "the heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt" (Jeremiah 17:9). This does not excuse their behavior, but it reminds us that the battle is ultimately against the sin in their hearts, not just external forces. Our weapons are prayer, truth, and the power of the Holy Spirit to bring conviction and change.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother who has endured decades of pain, deception, and spiritual attack. Lord, we thank You that You see every tear, every injustice, and every moment of betrayal. We declare that You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would bring truth to light and expose every hidden thing done in darkness (Luke 8:17). We rebuke the spirit of narcissism, witchcraft, and deception that has sought to destroy this marriage and family, and we command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, we ask that You would break every chain of manipulation and control that has been operating in this home. We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard our brother’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we pray for his wife and her family, soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and draw them to repentance. If it is Your will, restore what has been broken, but if not, give our brother the wisdom and strength to walk in the path You have for him.

We also pray for healing for our brother’s heart. Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Heal the wounds of betrayal, and replace bitterness with Your peace. Give him the strength to forgive, not as a burden, but as a step toward freedom. Surround him with godly counsel, supportive believers, and Your presence to sustain him.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would redeem this pain for Your glory. Use this trial to draw our brother closer to You, to refine his faith, and to make him a testimony of Your faithfulness. We trust that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we want to leave you with this encouragement: You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We urge you to seek godly counsel, whether through a pastor, Christian counselor, or trusted believers who can walk with you through this season. The enemy would love to isolate you, but God calls us to community. Lean on Him, and allow His people to support you.

If you have not already, we also encourage you to examine your own heart. While you have been the victim of great injustice, we must all guard against the sin of pride, unforgiveness, or resentment. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where you may need to grow or repent. This is not about blame but about walking in the fullness of what God has for you.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, trusting in His sacrifice on the cross for your salvation. If you have questions about this or need further guidance, we are here to help.

You are deeply loved, and God has a plan for your life that is greater than the pain you’ve endured. Hold fast to Him, and trust that He will lead you into a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We can only imagine how disorienting it must feel to look back over 50 years and see patterns of manipulation and a lack of genuine care. When emotional abuse spans decades, the discovery that the whole frame of the relationship was built on control rather than the mutual honor God intended cuts very deep. It is normal to feel a mix of grief, anger, and even a sense of foolishness, but you are not foolish. You are waking up to what was real, and that takes courage.

One of the hardest parts of healing from this kind of long-term wound is giving yourself permission to mourn what you thought you had. The marriage you believed in, the family dynamic you invested in, it is a real loss, even though the daily reality was painful. Mourning does not mean agreeing with what happened; it means letting your heart exhale so that you can slowly move forward without being held hostage by the old lies.

A practical step that many find vital is seeking out a seasoned Christian counselor or pastor who specifically understands emotional abuse and narcissistic dynamics. This is not about blaming; it’s about having a wise guide to help you sort through the confusion and take your own next steps with clarity. A support group, whether in person or a faith-based online community of people who have lived through similar discards, can also be a lifeline, because it reminds you that you are not alone in this struggle.

As you walk this road, please know that forgiveness and reconciliation are not the same thing. You can release the weight of resentment without walking back into an unsafe situation. The Lord sees the hidden years, and he does not minimize them. He walks with you now toward a future that can be defined by his truth, not by another’s manipulation.

Let us pray for you now.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this man who has endured so much hidden harm. Wrap him in your steady comfort and let him feel your nearness. Give him wisdom to find the right help and safe people to walk alongside him. Protect his heart from despair and begin to restore what the years have stolen. In your strong name we ask this, Amen.

Bondage under sin, bondage under the flesh, bondage to the fashions and customs of the world, bondage under the fear of man, this is carnal bondage, the work of the flesh, of sin and of the devil. This bondage is not the work of Nature and certainly never the work of the devil. Then we were in bondage and it was no fancied slavery, but the very truth.

The Lord brought Israel forth, but they had cried unto the Lord by reason of their sore bondage, and they did not receive the blessing without the desiring it, yes, and sighing for it! When Israel came out of Egypt, it was Jehovah who brought forth her armies. When any man is saved from spiritual bondage, it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive. Deliverance from a cruel captivity, like that of Israel in Egypt, must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah, alone!

Nobody would have thought of that way of the deliverance of a sinner from the pit of Hell through a ransom if God had not thought of it! Now, if a slave were in the bitterest of bondage, yet if his master said to him, "I have the ransom for you," that man must feel certain of his liberty because if he who held him in bondage has found a ransom, he certainly will hold him in bondage no longer! Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, "I have found a ransom."

There is, then, an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. Yonder in Heaven, those faces which look so bright and comely, fresher than new born babes, owe their freshness to these healing leaves! Welcome, Brothers and Sisters, to pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus.

We would infer from the text, speaking doctrinally, that in order to our sanctification and our deliverance from the power of sin, we must look to our heavenly Father, altogether and alone. The next evidence is experimental "He has delivered us." And if I can sometimes go into sin, just occasionally by way of pleasure, it proves that I am a stranger to the deliverance which Jesus Christ gives to His really called and regenerated people!

The Lord has chastened me sorely. And, moreover, I have met with so many Christians who, in the time of trouble, have received amazing warnings, or sweet assurances of coming deliverance, that I am bound to believe that the Lord does, sometimes, whisper to the heart of His children and assure them in trial that they shall not be crushed. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Here is declaration. If we had no troubles, we would all have less to declare. A person who has no experience of tribulation, what great deliverance has he to speak of? Such persons despise the afflicted and suspect the character of the choicest of men for lack of power to understand them. What does the man know about the sea who has only walked on the beach?

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

### years of this is a heavy cross, and I do not make light of it. You have borne betrayal, domination, and lies from those who should have been your closest companions. But now the enemy wants to use that wound to fill you with bitterness, hatred, or despair. Do not give him that second victory.

If there is real occult practice in your household, renounce it and have no fellowship with it. Seek the prayers and counsel of the church. But do not run to mediums, spell-breakers, or those who claim to remove curses by hidden arts. That would only exchange one darkness for another. Much of what you describe also flows from ordinary works of the flesh: self-love, lying, manipulation, contempt for God and authority, lack of mercy. These are serious enough.

Do not let the sins of others make you deny what marriage is. Marriage is honorable and not an impure state. The failing is not in marriage but in the hard and disordered will that makes an ill use of it. Your call is to keep faith with Christ where you are, not to prove your own rightness or to pay back evil for evil. Follow peace with all men, and holiness. That does not mean you must call evil good or bless sin. It means you refuse to become like the evil you have suffered. Let not mercy and truth forsake you. Keep truth by not consenting to lies or wrongdoing. Keep mercy by not becoming cruel or revengeful.

If anyone demands that you join in ungodliness, no family bond may be put above Christ. But if they are self-absorbed, cold, and false, your chaste and patient endurance remains a testimony. Continue in good works, not once or twice, but to the end. The racer who leaves the last lap undone loses all.

I pray that God would break every hidden work of darkness around your household, expose what is secret, shield you and your children from further harm, frustrate the schemes of the proud, and bring them to repentance or make their counsels come to nothing. May He give you wisdom, purity, and long-suffering. Your true hope is not in the favor of your wife's family, nor even in your marriage, but in the crucified and risen Lord. Stand fast in Him.
